A week and a half ago, I suffered a stroke which led to that I couldn’t speak and my right side was numb and unresponsive. Today, I can speak a little more clearly and...I CAN KICK AGAIN!!! 🔥😎
So thankful for modern medicine, your prayers, and for my family for pushing me out of my comfort zone to give me the strength to overcome this obstacle. 🙏
Though I look normal to everyone else, in my heart and my mind, I only feel 75% normal. I still struggle with lack of confidence, memory loss, fatigue, chaotic thoughts, and sensory overload. It’s a long road to recovery, but it’s progress.
Thank you so much for your prayers and donations! ❤️ #KilarsKorner
Can’t wait to be back with my ATA family 🥋 thank you so much, @redletterchaser, for making this for me! ❤️

A few days ago, I suffered a stroke. I couldn’t talk and my right arm wasn’t doing what I was telling it to. Tim noticed something was wrong and I was able to pull out my phone to dial 911 and pointed at myself so that Tim would call the ambulance. Luckily, between Tim and a phone call with my parents, the doctors were able to give me the medicine needed to combat the stroke within the 3 hour window. As some know, I have congenital heart condition called Ebstein's anomaly. It’s pretty much where a small portion of my heart chamber doesn’t close properly. The doctor’s are thinking that is what caused my stroke. They believe the valve didn’t close properly and the blood was sent to my brain resulting in a clot and stroke. I have been in the hospital for a few days now but with the help of my doctors and nurses, I have been resting well. The good news is, I can move, talk, and type. However, I am having some difficulty trying to communicate quickly. I am trying my best to be patient with my recovery and therapy.
I am thankful that my boyfriend, brother, and mom are here with me. My brother and my mom flew out immediately after receiving word of my stroke. My dad will be flying out to be with me next week in person, but he has been with me every step of the way researching and sending me articles of inspirational recoveries. I am thankful that I was able to get my medicine in time. Now I can begin my long journey to recover. My goals are to speak with more complete sentences and to kick again. With enough patience and the help of my loved ones, I will make progress.
Please, make sure your health is a priority. Even you are young, any thing can happen. I’m 23.
His and hers gold medals ❤️🥇
Congratulations to Tim for defending his extreme forms and extreme weapons titles again this year! 🔥
Best of luck to all of the competitors in the new season! Tim and I have decided to take a break from competition so we can focus on building the schools and growing as business partners. We are thankful to be a part of the ATA Legacy. 🥋✨
Tournament of Champions was a success! 🥋🔥

Congratulations to all the amazing champions I had the honor of competing with! And thank you to everyone that came through and supported me through this journey. ❤️ (Swipe to the end for a glimpse of me at my finest 😉) @atamartialarts
Happy X-Men Day! I’m not sure if the 3 mutants I played in Logan count as X-Men, but they were fun to play. 💪🎬

A portion of my long range form 😎✨
Being the short girl I am, I have always enjoyed doing forms that make me feel bigger. 💪Weapons are supposed to be an extension of your body.
