I am the horizon
between the daylight and
the night.
Yes, this is my pride.
And as I sit under the tree, waiting
for the apple to fall,
I discover
the colours appear
through the waterfall.
The sun, the moon, the earth
and the sky, all
conspire
that my intended self
integrates from the shatters
of the jigsaw
that is this mother nature.

wild things.

two kids, you and i, rifled all that was untraceable.
love behind bleachers, love under tables, love in the corners.
so despicably recluse, our mouths knew what we wanted,
more than our hearts could have ever bargained for.
your fingers helped themselves reave the invisible song,
that hid under the layers of years and years of my skin.
every sunset, i'd grab hold some of your hair when you whispered,
'today i live with you and only you in my heart.'
we were, what once the universe said forbidden fruits.
and we tasted no less than divinity.
who knew that the summer we met would be the summer
where we learned what it really took to love a heart,
that fickled like a leaf all through winter and fall.
our autumn was here before than we expected it to be.
my love, apologies from this naive world, who knew no better
than writing tragic endings to an epic cinematic love story.
two kids, you and i, mastered the art of building boondoggles
with nothing more than our current imbecile selves.
maybe the universe wasn't ready to master the skill
of letting soulmates meet this easily; stick to each other this effortlessly.
and so even if we do not stay here for another sunset,
i hope you always remember us as all things wild,
and give me away with only forgiveness on your mind.
