Consistency: the quality of always being the same, doing things the same way, having the same standards.

These 4 words SHOULD be in your weight loss journey. If they aren’t, wake up! 👏🏼 Work on them! These are the 4 words that define my success. They aren’t in any particular order although confidence comes in time from practicing the other three words!

If you say you can’t find the motivation today, skip that word for today and go to dedication, that word will help you stay strong on days you don’t want to. If you want to lose that weight you have to stay consistent. And I’m not talking 100%, even doing 80/20 should get you there but you have to be REAL honest with yourself!
.
As always, give yourself grace and allow yourself to be present. Make choices in the moment that will feel good about later. These are all tips I picked up over the years. I didn’t lose weight quickly, I have lost it by being consistent, dedicated and motivated by seeing results. I stay motivated by trying new things, whether it’s a new workout routine or a new way to eat.

En kanon god skulder øvelse, den træner hele skulderen, men har mest fokus på midten.
Det vigtig at køre den kontrollerede, og komme helt op så man kan mærke at skulderen er spændt ud, men at man ikke bruger nakken eller ryggen, men kun skulderen. 🔥
Hvis du gerne vil have den virkelig brænder ! Så prøv med (time under tension), hvor du køre 1 sek op og 4 sek ned. 🔥
Jeg vil anbefale at man laver denne øvelse som en hypertrofi øvelse. Lav den med 5 sæt af 10-12 gentagelser.

Today I talked to a friend about having structure in the workout. In my opinion, the workout is SO much more fun when I know exactly what to do. When I go from school or work, it is so nice to let go of all decision making and just give all of my energy and focus and just DO IT 😎🙌🏽 It gives an extra feeling of accomplishment when you’ve done exactly what you planned✔️✔️ 😏🔥

The biggest factor between sticking with your goals and giving up on them isn’t what you do on the days you feel great. .

It’s the decisions you make on the off days: the days you don’t feel like going to the gym, the days you cave to a donut at work and regret it, the days you just don’t feel like dealing with any of it. .
.
There will always be days like that. What you do with ‘em and if you do or don’t move forward is what determines your success. .

Yes you can work on your abs, but if you’re say 80 pounds overweight it might be demoralizing to work on abs everyday and see no progress. I’d personally suggest you wait on your ab exercises till your body fat is lower.
However workouts that indirectly work on abs are fine. Ultimately it’s up to you! Remember fitness is a journey not a destination.

Hoje os exercícios foram por etapas, esses seguiram um cronograma mais intenso, porém de 15 minutos💪 suadeira e canceira na certa, coração bombeando fortemente, MARA. Os Próximos foram Aeróbicos, conhecidos como Zumba e que Jajá posto🙋🏻‍♀️😅💪

Super super quick pull day. Haven’t hit back in a hot minute so did some assisted pull ups, rack pulls, close grip cable rows and face pulls! So happy the gym exists. It’s really true that over time it becomes therapy. And all I’ve got to do is pick up and drop some iron! Who would’ve thought. Going to have a few busy days prepping for school and exams so there’s that but happy the “worst” so far is done. Here’s to the rest of the semester 🙃

Nur weil der Golfellenbogen alles "Ziehende" verhindert und ich vor dem #frankfurtmarathon nur noch einmal am kommenden Donnerstag laufen werde, bedeutet das nicht, dass ich auf der faulen Haut liege. ⁠

Auf der Haut schon, aber auf der faulen? Irgendwie fehlt mir dazu die innere Ruhe. Vielleicht sollte ich einfach mal mit #taichi anfangen - oder endlich wieder mal in die Sauna gehen.⁠

Started my Monday off with a 7 mile run 🏃🏽‍♀️My half marathon is in 6 days, so I made my Chocolate Chip PB Oatmeal 4-Ingredient Cookie recipe to keep me energized throughout the week😻 #dEATS 👉🏻 2 cups of rolled oats, 2 ripe bananas 🍌(the spottier the better), 1/3 cup of dairy free chocolate chips 🍫, & 1/3 cup of peanut butter 🥜

Mix all ingredients by hand in a bowl, roll into balls, and place them on a lined baking sheet. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes! Store in the fridge 👌🏻 These make the best grab and go sweet snack 🙌🏻 oh and they never last more than a couple days in my apartment (they are that good) 🤩

this is for everyone that works their asses off and feels like they just can’t catch a break: quit being so hard on yourself. quit trying to perfect every single thing you do. quit biting off more than you can chew. quit trying to please everyone all the time.


you all understand how it feels so be involved in so many activities and tasked with so many responsibilities. life becomes very overwhelming very quickly. you view every single assignment as yet another thing to add onto your giant to-do list. you put pressure on yourself to make sure your work is comparable to others because the thought of criticism terrifies you. you try to be involved in as much as you possibly can so you have a strong resume to impress colleges, employers, etc. you kick yourself every time you make a mistake, forget something, or disappoint someone. and God forbid you miss a deadline.


ambition, determination, and hard work are all beautiful things. but when ambition turns to anxiety, determination turns to obsession, and hard work turns to tireless labor, take a step back. when you feel as though progress is out of reach, take a step back. when you feel as though you’re completing one task after another and still getting nowhere, take a step back.


take a step back and look at how far you’ve come since the beginning. remind yourself of every time you’ve finished an assignment, every time you’ve accomplished a goal, every time you’ve made yourself proud. you’ve done all of those things countless times, and you’ll do them all again. take a deep breath, keep grinding, and remember that your journey is one that’s supposed to be enjoyable. as my mom always tells me, “you’ll be what you want to be, no matter what.”
