Hi guys. Looked like a lovely sunset last night by the ocean. Yeah why not appreciate its natural beauty of sub-tropical herne bay in the english and county of Kent.

Also a perfect time to indulge in a few homemade choc-chip cookies my sister had made for me. These things were gorgeous. No hard biscuit crumbs, or breaking apart. It felt like she'd emptied a whole jar of syrup or something into them, as I was pulling them apart like a cake.

I was going to make pancakes this morning but then totally forgot 🤦🏻‍♀️This was amazing though, and a lot less faff (mess). Having the Schar waffles to hand definitely makes for an easier life. Not that I really needed a quick breakfast this morning.

I'm going away next week and it's suddenly hit me that this will be the first time since going Gluten and Lactose Free 😬 Is there anyone from the Isle of Wight on my Insta? Or does anyone know of some places I can go to eat? Is there a particular supermarket that stocks a range of Free From bits or do I need to take a separate suitcase of food? So many questions!

Body size is body size. Your body isn't an exam or an assignment. The size of your body is influenced by many intersecting factors, many of which are out of your immediate control. In diet culture, it's common for body size to be referred to as something someone 'achieved' and got 'good results'. This mentality creates the assumption that if people just apply effort, time, skill, they can achieve the 'body (size) of their dreams'.The harm in this mentality is that 1. it perpetuates fat phobia - that if you live in a fat body, you haven't tried hard enough 2. undermines overall health - physical, mental, social - assuming body size the sole indicator of health/poor health 3. increases risk of eating disorders, decreased self-esteem and decreased self-efficacy (ie a shit show for mental health). .

Of course, there will always be people who are interested in manipulating their body shape and treat it as a fulltime job - another topic for another time. They are entitled to that. Overall though, the idea that body size is 'achieved' is a harmful one.

One of my favourite savoury waffles that is super filling, cheesy and delicious.

It’s like a giant Hash Brown! 👌🏼 .

I always serve  mine with some mushrooms & cherry tomatoes roasted or panfried as a side 👌🏼

Cheesy Potato Waffle

200gms grated Carisma or Spud Lite Low Carb Potato
1 egg
1 -2 egg whites
20gms Bega 50% less fat country grated cheese 
20gms Don's honey ham diced 
1/2 Cup Baby Spinach leaves (chopped)
1/4 Spanish Onion diced
1 Tbls Fresh flat leaf parsley (more of you like fresh herbs) .

Grate potato & squeeze out excess water in a cloth, (this step is essential)

Add potato to a bowl and season with salt & pepper, add all other ingredients & stir. (Add extra egg white if needed, the batter should be thick, not too runny)

Preheat a waffle iron, once hot, using a pastry brush , brush the waffle iron with 1 tsp olive oil, add batter to the waffle iron and cook for 5 mins on high.

6 WW Smart Points 
Serve with a dollup of Plain Yopro or any 99% fat free yoghurt mixed with Chopped Chives or flat leaf parsley chopped through, for 0sp + extra veggies.

My waffle maker is a Kmart brand nothing fancy or expensive.

It's only when you see an old picture,you realise how far you've come. Even though I am smiling in the picture on the left I felt sad and unhappy about my body.  And just generally very uncomfortable. I am so glad that I decided to do the plan. One of the best decisions I have made. My body is not perfect. I am not filtered or edited but it is my body and it is amazing for everything it does, every single day. 
For me losing weight was hard but being heavier and not liking my body was even harder . Choose your hard.

Hello tout le monde! 
Cet été fut très compliqué pour moi. Beaucoup de boulot, quelques soucis à côté ce qui a fait que je n’ai pas eu le temps de vraiment prendre soin de moi... 😞
Je me retrouve avec plus de poids que jamais. 
Donc j’ai décidé de m’inscrire sur Weight Watcher afin de perdre tous ces kilos qui n’aident pas au niveau du moral. 💪🏼

Hello tout le monde!

Af vallen en opstaan
Na m'n #keto avontuur vorig jaar waar ik 10 kilo kwijt raakte en in een giga gordelroos periode kwam en tonychocolony m'n beste vriend werd en ik de bergen in Nieuw Zeeland opklom ben ik nu terug bij af. Gordelroos nog niet weg en kilo's weer terug ben ik begonnen met vriendinnen bij @weightwatchersnld
Dit borrelhapje was eigenlijk niet zo lekker,  er was ook geen borrel bij! De kip en de fairytail wraps zijn heerlijk. Punten tellen en niet snaaien. En niet koken voor een weeshuis, pfff das lastig in villa kakelbont. Yes that's a crumpet under the egg, yes it kinda worked! 3sp to start my day.. Used to begrudge using points on my breakfast but I've changed my mindset now and always make sure I use some, which clearly is working!

Das Frühstück hat zusammen 4 Punkte, macht satt und ist gesund.

🥜Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Granola

This stuff is nuts. Seriously, ya gotta make it ASAP.

*1 C (80g) @quaker Rolled Oats
*2 C (34g) @arrowheadmills Puffed Rice Cereal
*1 1/2 scoop (47g) @pescience Select, vanilla (if you use chocolate, keep the cocoa powder the same)
*1 Tbsp (5g) Unsweetened Dark Cocoa Powder
*1/3 C (87g) Creamy Peanut Butter
*2 Tbsp (42g) Honey
*3 Tbsp (46g) Liquid Egg Whites (or whites of 1 egg)
⠀
1. Preheat an oven to 350F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or nonstick spray.
2. Mix the dry ingredients together in a large bowl before adding in the peanut butter and honey. Fold together until no lumps of peanut butter remain before adding the egg whites. Continue folding together until evenly mixed.
3. Transfer the mixture to the baking sheet. Use a spatula to spread it evenly across the entire baking sheet. Be sure to break up any large clumps and aim to have as many holes or spaces as possible in the mixture.
4. Bake for 14 minutes before removing from the oven to break up and flip on the baking sheet. Bake for an additional 4-8 minutes, shaking every 2-3 minutes until the granola is crispy. (The honey and cocoa powder can easily burn so keep your eyes and nose peeled. It will continue to dry out/crisp once it’s out of the oven so don’t be afraid to pull it a little early.) Store in an airtight container (mason jars work great) at room temp.
