Having a different breakfast today. I’m constantly feeling so bloated at the moment and in a lot of pain. I wake up looking pregnant and it gets worse throughout the day. Monday motivation!
4 x Olympian @chemmyski absolutely smashing her goals as I always knew she would. Running a business and running round after 2 gorgeous babies meant that Chemmy’s health and fitness had been put on the back burner and habits of convenience foods and ‘naughty’ snacks became daily.
Nothing complicated- a detailed and monitored nutrition plan coupled with regular weight training to get the body lean and strong 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 So don’t be embarrassed to ask for help- even top athletes can’t do it alone! And guess what weights didn’t make her ‘bulky’ 😘
We went to 3 Olympics together, lived a few roads apart but only became friends last year when we did punditry together for the last Winter Olympics on @bbcsport. The most positive, straight talking, confidence boosting person to spend time with and she inspires me every day. Lots of love for this ball of energy 💕

It's a new week, a new start

Having a long working day today, trying to stay positiv
I like to use the sunday for cleaning up, but especially for preparing meals for the next days

So yesterday I made keto rolls, tandoori chicken, mashed cauliflower, farmer salad, a carrot cake and pizza rolls and even homemade limonade

All sugarfree and keto

Even with long working days I have food for every situation without being in the kitchen for hours

Having a long working day today, trying to stay positiv

SET A REALISTIC TRAINING ROUTINE!

When it comes to training, its great to have all the intentions to train and kick ass, but in reality it may be harder than you think to actually follow and stick to a set training routine.
.
Sure you can easily train in dribs and drabs but that's never going to get you great results.
.
This is why it's extremely important to take into account what YOU WANT, what YOU NEED and what YOU CAN actually do.
.
For example, it's all good wanting to do something, but can you actually do it?
.
On the other hand you might need to do something because its good for you, but do you actually want to do it?
.
As you can see in the Info-graph there's a number of questions which you should ask yourself in order to set a REALISTIC training routine.
.
It's nothing too complicated but after you've taken each of these questions into account, you should be in a position where you have a set training routine to follow which will considerably increase your chances of success.

There are so many hours involved with meal prepping, weight training, cardio and posing practice 😅.

It’s not for the faint hearted and it’s definitely not everyone’s cup of tea 🤭.

But, I can honestly say that so far, this prep has been better than I could have ever hoped.
Of course I’ve had my challenges, but I truely feel like I thrive within this lifestyle 🙌🏻 My body is responding so well, and I can’t wait to see what the next 6 weeks brings! .

Saturday’s session was a total blast - sometimes you hit the gym and it’s average or crap and then when you expect s mediocre session at best it turns out to be one of your best! .
.
Deadlifts felt good - 86kg for 14 reps in the final.
Sled pushing giving a PB of 105kg for 45 metres x2 at the end of my session was like a death walk.
But... the best was my fav the leg press hitting 120kg fir 20 reps x2 and at the smashing out 10 reps at 150kg. Pain and burning was so worth tgat PB!.

I’ve been through every phase ⬇️⬇️. .

2014 - trying to be “as thin” as possible. .

2017 - the pressure of trying to be as thin as possible for all those years finally caught up to me. .

2019 - trying to be as healthy as possible but as a lifestyle! Which means, I try to eat clean most of the time but still enjoy GOOD 👏🏼 FOOD 👏🏼 . I lift weights as much as I can, but life also happens which means I DON’T workout EVERY DAY! .

Learning to make these changes and to have the proper mentality, will allow a healthy lifestyle that is SUSTAINABLE! . -

Heh I don’t think my mornings will ever be the same after I bought that NutriBullet yesterday. This is my second time using it. Today’s shake tasted way better than yesterday. I give this one a 8/10.. I’m kinda just experimenting at the moment till I’m able to go to the store and buy some more ingredients. I need bananas.
