Proud of today’s workout! I had to get my windshield replaced so I planned ahead and wore gym clothes. I dropped off my car, walked to the gym .8 miles away, worked out (cardio+arms+abs), and then walked back to the auto shop! It was sooo hot walking back but I have the best sore body feeling now🖤

Heavy squats from two weeks ago to start off the peak. Supposed to be 3 doubles, but my wrapper, Douglas, had to dip. So ended up combing last two sets for a nice little rep PR🤷🏽‍♂️. Squats are starting to come together nicely as we wrap up prep. Decent week weight loss wise, tbh it could’ve been a great week but I have had a deadly craving for sizzlers for weeks which I had to resolve on the weekend. Now that’s out of my system hopefully we’ll go back on making good progress and go to two digits body weight. It’ll be a pretty big deal since I haven’t been down to two digits body weight for more than 3 years.

Workouts have been good, I’ve been working with moderate weight and trying out different exercises. It’s been a good change of pace and I’m enjoying it.

This little workout template I’ve created above should help provide you with some very basic ideas.

Please keep in mind - this is what has worked for me and my clients. I’ve been training clients successfully for 14 years. That doesn’t mean there aren’t other ways to train to get in great shape.

You’ll notice if you’re training 2x/week you don’t need a planned deload. You’ll have enough recovery integrated into your workout schedule.

If you wish to get in great shape, I’d recommend training more frequently. Three to four times per week is a great sweet spot. It’s a sustainable schedule and you’ll be training often enough to see fantastic results.

WOW- what an amazing 23 months this has been! I’ve had an amazing opportunity to be featured in @bellamagazineuk this week.
