What does effort mean though? Effort is looked at in terms of Time, Consistency, Dedication, Clarity of goal.  All the people you see that are well toned, it doesn't happen just like that.  They actually are bothered enough to do something about their bodies to lose weight. Anyone with a toned body has put in the effort to look that way.  It also reflects that they have courage to follow through with their decision to lose weight.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I remember my fiancé (now husband) taking this first photo and being completely horrified. I didn’t want to take pictures for the rest of our vacation. Never again! This has gotten so much bigger than me just losing weight for my wedding. I posted in a group about it yesterday, but I’ll say it again, I don’t think that this would have been possible for me without @ww and if I didn’t find @feliciafitnesshealth. I assure you that if I can do it, anyone can. Down 70 lbs! Not at goal yet, but well on my way. 💪🏻💕✨

THIS IS NOT A CLEAN LIFT BUT... There's a few things going through my head right now as I'm attempting this 80kg deadlift... 1) I'm attempting a PB without my coach from @oxidate_performance

2) I'm not confident in my lift so I've spread my feet too far apart (I failed twice before this shot so self-doubt has kicked in)

3) I just smashed out a leg session prior to this so I'm already fatigued 
4)I injured my left arm and had lost a lot of grip strength recently so I'll probably compensate for that 
At the end of the day I l tried this because I wanted to prove to myself that I hadn't lost too much strength the last few weeks. I wasn't allowed to deadlift for a while and it honestly got to me, my biggest paranoia being regression. Whilst my form is not there, I'll admit to that, I still did it! I can lift 80kg which is more than my weight! I remember feeling so good in that dress and then letting a picture ruin those good feelings. I’ve come so far from that girl on the left and I’m proud to say that I feel very little as far as good or bad when I see a picture of myself now. I just see me and how I look. #transformationtuesday August 2016-July 2019 I struggled many times after having my youngest son to gain momentum on ww. I had good results in the past so I guess I expected it to be easier than it was. I probably started and quit at least 5 times. And each time, I felt relieved in the moment that I no longer had the pressure of needing to lose weight, but then feeling bad about myself for giving up and subsequently gaining more weight. In October 2016 I drew a line in the sand. I was done with this back and fourth. I was tired of the cycle. So I started. And this time I didn’t give up on myself! People often asked how I can keep motivated...and the answer is that you have to keep your goals in mind at all times. It’s ok to stumble, it’s ok to make mistakes and it’s ok to have cheat meals and off times. But never ever ever give up on yourself. Just pick back up and continue on remembering in that moment why you started in the first place. For me, remembering the alternative which was being overweight, feeling bad about my appearance, depression and anxiety, all of those reasons kept me from staying down when I would hit bumps in the road. Weight loss doesn’t fix all your life’s problems. But it has taught me a lot about myself. My body, my mind. My strength. My wants and needs in life. My passions. First week. Three pounds down. I did a core exercise every other day and generally just ate less. I tried to not eat after 8pm though I didn’t do that last night and Saturday night. It was a good week but I know it won’t get any easier from here. Hope to just lose another two or so pounds in the next month. Until next week~! #weightlossjourney

First week. Three pounds down. I did a core exercise every other day and generally just ate less. I tried to not eat after 8pm though I didn’t do that last night and Saturday night. It was a good week but I know it won’t get any easier from here. Hope to just lose another two or so pounds in the next month. Until next week~! #weightlossjourney

🌸Transformation Tuesday🌸
From 14 1/2 stone ➡️ 10 1/2 stone
Dexter is 20 weeks old today and I’m only 1 stone away now to get back to target🎯 and I am happy with where I am at the minute, I’m now in my size 10/12 clothes and I’m eating healthy and I’m more active again🙌🏼 I’m a mumma now and the happiest I have ever been so I’m not going to stress about 14lbs💗
I’ve now started going back to group and also started my new 12 week countdown so bring it on! I’m hoping to lose the 1 stone in 12 weeks which is definitely possible! But I’m not going to stress about it, I’m just going to stick to plan and get out more!
I’m just happy we are all healthy and I’ve got my gorgeous miracle baby💙

What scares you? I think for me it’s been a fear of not being enough. Not enough in my relationships, not enough in my job, not enough in friendships, or just in general. I used to fear that I would never be able to have a child. Which I thought would make me less of a woman (ps your ability to have or not have children has NOTHING to do with your worth as a woman, I’ll get in to that another day). When in a relationship I feared that if I lost 100+ lbs my partner wouldn’t find me attractive anymore. To be honest since having my baby I don’t feel these fears anymore. I’ve been shown that I AM ENOUGH. To have someone looking at my every move as an example it’s important for me to lead positively. I know that I am important, valuable and worth it and it’s important my baby knows he is too. My fears now are definitely more mother focused. “Who will you grow up to be? Will you have generational trauma that I subconsciously will pass down? How will I afford to send you to a great school/travel and make memories/bond and spend time with you after my maternity leave? What if I miss important milestones? What if you get hurt and I’m not there?” So the list goes on and on...and I’m sure the list will change and evolve as life goes on too. I’m going to keep remembering to “Fear Not” remember my worth and lead with love. So I ask again...what scares you?

This is a few years of trial and error and falling on my face and getting back up! Keep going no matter what! I must say I have and continue to enjoy this journey to health! Learning that loving food is ok but loving and respecting myself is better. Learning that exercise can be fun and its wayyyy cheaper than a psychologist😂😂 keep pushing guys!

There are oodles ‘n’ bunches of things ‘n’ stuff to consider when you’re setting your fat loss nutrition plan…

—> You wanna make sure you’re eating in a calorie deficit ⚖️⬇️
⠀
—> You wanna eat enough protein for satiety and muscle growth 🍖💪
⠀
—> You wanna ensure most — not necessarily all — of your foods are coming from nutritious whole foods 🥗🍎
⠀
All three of those things are super-duper important, but there’s something else important often overlooked...

—> How much you enjoy the foods you’re eating!
⠀
At the beginning of any plan, it’s easy to restrict “unhealthy” foods you love and force down “healthy” foods you hate.
⠀
But it doesn’t stay easy for long.
⠀ 
Eventually, cravings start kicking in.
⠀
Maybe it takes 2 weeks.
Maybe it takes 2 months.
⠀
At some point, you get sick & tired of eating foods you hate, and resentment sets in...
⠀ 
And you can think about is scarfing down a full pack of Double-Stuffed Golden Oreos.
⠀
Luckily, that kind of restriction isn’t necessary.
⠀
If you control your total calories, eat sufficient protein, and focus on whole foods 80-90% of the time...
⠀
There are ZERO off-limit foods!
⠀ 
My advice:
⠀
1️⃣ stick with healthy foods you enjoy.
⠀
For example, if you love pears 🍐 and hate apples 🍎, then eat more freaking pears and pass on the apples.
⠀
2️⃣ if you want to have some “fun” foods (🍨🍪🍷), but don’t want to lose control, plan a few servings into your daily meal plan.

This way, you know it’s coming, which will help you stay on track during the day and keep your portions under control.

#transformationtuesday arm/side view edition. My arms have always bugged me. I wore sweaters in the summer and NOT because I was cold. I did everything in my power to keep them hidden. And honestly? Until I looked at this side by side I never even realized how much they had changed!

Gone are the days of wearing seasonally inappropriate articles of clothing. (Okay that’s not entirely true, but now if you catch me wearing a sweater in the summer it’s because I am eternally freezing and not because I’m ashamed of my arms)
.
PS: can we have a moment of silence for my boobs that are gone but not forgotten? #rip

Dinner with a Mexican flair!! My Tamale Pie is flavorful, delicious, and just the right amount of spice! With a “corn bread-ish” type crust this is a Monday dinner that will turn up the heat 💃 My husband is IN LOVE with this and it tastes even better the next day(if you have leftovers🤣)!Its just another delicious recipe from my weight loss challenges(don’t forget to sign up the cash prize the last two challenges has been $12,000 split between two people). Tag someone that LOVES Mexican Food!

Tamale Pie
Makes 6 Servings
1 Serving: 440 Calories, 34g Fat, 3g Carbs, 29g Protein Start to Table: Less than 35 mins “Corn Bread” Crust
1 cup almond flour
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded 1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1⁄2 tsp garlic powder
2 large eggs
1⁄4 cup sour cream
2 Tbsp butter, melted
Topping
3⁄4 lb cooked taco beef
1⁄2 Cup cheddar cheese, shredded 1⁄4 Cup Jalapeno, diced
Sauce
1 Cup chicken broth
1⁄4 Cup tomato puree
1 bay leaf
2 Tbsp chili powder
1 1⁄2 tsp ground cumin
1⁄2 tsp oregano
1⁄4 tsp salt
1⁄2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp erythritol
1⁄4 tsp cayenne powder 1/8 tsp ground clove
1/8 tsp ground cinnamon 1 Tbsp butter

Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x9 inch glass baking dish.
2. In a large bowl toss together the cheese, almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder,
and salt.
3. In another bowl whisk together the wet ingredients.
4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry, stirring until well combined.
5. Pour the batter into the baking dish, spreading evenly.
6. Bake for 15 minutes.
7. While the crust is baking combine sauce ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and set aside.
8. Once crust is baked spread the meat evenly over the top.
9. Pour the sauce over the top evenly.
10. Then sprinkle the diced jalapenos and cheese over the meat/sauce.
11. Return to the oven and bake for 15 mins at 375F.
