“I have been working on a theory of the psychology of achievement since Marty scolded me for not having one. I have pages and pages of diagrams, filling more than a dozen lab notebooks. After more than a decade of thinking about it, sometimes alone, and sometimes in partnership with close colleagues, I finally published an article in which I lay down two simple equations that explain how you get from talent to achievement.
Here they are: talent x effort = skill ——————> skill x effort = achievement Talent is how quickly your skills improve when you invest effort. Achievement is what happens when you take your acquired skills and use them. Of course, your opportunities—for example, having a great teacher—matter tremendously, too, and maybe more than anything about the individual. My theory doesn’t address these outside forces, nor does it include luck. It’s about the psychology of achievement, but because psychology isn’t all that maters, it’s incomplete. Last night was assessment night for the summer Body Back session with @fit4mom_fayetteville. If you watched my stories yesterday, you know I was all up in my feelings and super nervous (even though I’ve done this 4x before!) .

Well let’s be honest, I had nothing to be anxious about. These women came together last night and we all absolutely CRUSHED the assessment. The energy in that room was through the roof with everyone lifting each other up with encouraging words and praise. .

I truly cannot verbalize how excited I am for these next 8-weeks. I can already tell this is going to be an amazing session. .

Calorie cycling for fat loss

Before we begin, you do not need to count calories to lose fat. Regardless of whether or not you count, if you want to lose fat you must be in a calorie deficit. You can do it by eating fewer carbs, fewer fats, intermittent fasting, keto, weight watchers, blah blah blah. Doesn't matter as long as you're in a calorie deficit.

If you do decide to count, you don't need to eat the same number of calories every day. I actually prefer cycling calories to eat less on some days & more on others. This way you can strategically eat more when you're out with friends, going to parties, etc. And less when you're doing your own thing and able to stick to your "normal" diet.

The cool part is you have options. And you can choose whichever one works best for you.

THE STRAIGHT DEFICIT is not a cycling method. It's just a simple, straight forward calorie allotment you eat daily. So let's say your maintenance cals are 2000, you might eat 1500/day to lose fat over time. You don't get high/low days but it is very simple & takes a lot of thought out of the equation.

THE ALTERNATE DEFICIT is a cyclical method where you alternate high/low days. If you do the math, the weekly total here is exactly the same as the straight deficit. Main difference is some days you eat low cal and others you eat high which gives you more leeway & the ability to have more diet breaks.

THE WEEKEND WARRIOR DEFICIT is what many of my Inner Circle Members choose because it gives you the most freedom on the weekends. Basically, you eat low cal during the week and relatively high over the weekend. It's not magical or special..just a strategic way to structure your diet to make things fit your schedule better so you can be more consistent.

Important note - each method adds up to the same weekly total (10,500 cals) and would result in the same amount of fat loss. The key is to do what works best for YOU.

แต่ก่อนไม่มีวี่แววว่าจะ squat ด้วยน้ำหนักได้เลยค่ะ แต่ตอนนี้เริ่มทำได้แล้วนะ!!! ดีใจจัง
❤️Barbell Squat จะได้ทั้งขาและก้นเต็มๆเลยค่ะ เคยทำตั้งแต่ยังไม่มีน้ำหนักเลย ทำผิดทำถูก บาดเจ็บบ้างก็มี ตอนแรกที่ทำจำได้ว่ายังไม่ stable เท่าไหร่ ทำไม่กี่เซทก็จะมีสั่นบ้าง พอได้ลองทำและเรียนรู้ไปเรื่อยๆ เลยรู้ว่า posture และการฝึกหายใจสำคัญมาก แบบมากกก คือต้องระวังไม่ให้เข่าเลยเท้า เท่ากับต้องดึงก้นไปด้านหลัง บวกกับหายใจให้ core แข็งแรงพอ เท่านี้ก็ทำให้ squat ง่ายขึ้นเยอะเลยค่ะ
❤️Deadlift ท่านี้คือ Powerful คือที่สุดมากๆ ได้ทั้งตัวเลย ตั้งแต่หน้าขา/ก้น/lower back/core muscle/upper back แต่มีข้อควรระวังคือ เวลาขึ้น ต้องอยู่ในองศาที่ไม่ต่ำหรือสูงเกินไป ค่อยๆฝึกจะจับได้เองค่ะ ต้องให้ทุกส่วนขึ้นเกือบจะพร้อมๆกัน เพื่อไม่ให้น้ำหนักลงที่หลังมาก ตอนนี้ยกได้ 50 Kg แล้วนะ!!!
❤️TRX Push Up ได้แขน/หัวไหล่/หน้าอก/core muscle ความท้าทายที่ต้อง focus คือองศาที่เพิ่มมากขึ้นจะเท่ากับload ที่เพิ่มมากขึ้นเหมือนกัน ดังนั้นต้องเกร็ง core muscle เพื่อให้เราได้ใช้ upper body เป็นตัวต้าน load ขึ้นมาจริงๆ ลงช้าขึ้นช้า ไม่ใช้แรงเหวี่ยงนะคะ

A little progress each day!!!.

แต่ก่อนไม่มีวี่แววว่าจะ squat ด้วยน้ำหนักได้เลยค่ะ แต่ตอนนี้เริ่มทำได้แล้วนะ!!! ดีใจจัง
❤️Barbell Squat จะได้ทั้งขาและก้นเต็มๆเลยค่ะ เคยทำตั้งแต่ยังไม่มีน้ำหนักเลย ทำผิดทำถูก บาดเจ็บบ้างก็มี ตอนแรกที่ทำจำได้ว่ายังไม่ stable เท่าไหร่ ทำไม่กี่เซทก็จะมีสั่นบ้าง พอได้ลองทำและเรียนรู้ไปเรื่อยๆ เลยรู้ว่า posture และการฝึกหายใจสำคัญมาก แบบมากกก คือต้องระวังไม่ให้เข่าเลยเท้า เท่ากับต้องดึงก้นไปด้านหลัง บวกกับหายใจให้ core แข็งแรงพอ เท่านี้ก็ทำให้ squat ง่ายขึ้นเยอะเลยค่ะ
❤️Deadlift ท่านี้คือ Powerful คือที่สุดมากๆ ได้ทั้งตัวเลย ตั้งแต่หน้าขา/ก้น/lower back/core muscle/upper back แต่มีข้อควรระวังคือ เวลาขึ้น ต้องอยู่ในองศาที่ไม่ต่ำหรือสูงเกินไป ค่อยๆฝึกจะจับได้เองค่ะ ต้องให้ทุกส่วนขึ้นเกือบจะพร้อมๆกัน เพื่อไม่ให้น้ำหนักลงที่หลังมาก ตอนนี้ยกได้ 50 Kg แล้วนะ!!!
❤️TRX Push Up ได้แขน/หัวไหล่/หน้าอก/core muscle ความท้าทายที่ต้อง focus คือองศาที่เพิ่มมากขึ้นจะเท่ากับload ที่เพิ่มมากขึ้นเหมือนกัน ดังนั้นต้องเกร็ง core muscle เพื่อให้เราได้ใช้ upper body เป็นตัวต้าน load ขึ้นมาจริงๆ ลงช้าขึ้นช้า ไม่ใช้แรงเหวี่ยงนะคะ

“First picture was taken in July 11th, 2018 (I started keto July 1st) and second picture is present day, 75 pound difference!!!!! I’m very happy with the results of living a ketogenic lifestyle! I am incorporating a TWO work outs a day now just to tighten up my skin (there’s not SUPER loose skin but when you lose so much weight there tends to be somewhat some skin, it’s not a lot but I’m 100% real with you guys so I thought I’d share) so I’m doing a morning work out before work and then an evening work out after work. I strictly do cardio (elliptical, stairs, cycling and treadmill) along with some Zumba💃🏼💃🏼 if you have any work out tips ect let me know!!! .”

“Thought I’d update y’all and let you guys know I’ve LOST 6️⃣0️⃣ pounds in 5️⃣ months‼️‼️ I started keto in July of 2018. I came in this VERY determined to lose the extra weight and was hitting the gym everyday HARD for the first 3 months. I am now 130, I came in weighing at 190..VERY embarrassing , I know LOL, but 120-115 here we come💪🏼 . It is possible!!! Don’t EVER let anyone tell you that you can’t do it!!! I had several people tell me that I couldn’t do it, or that keto wasn’t “right” for me but I suggest doing whatever works for you. For me keto, IF and working out has helped me the most. Keep going y’all and thanks for all the support.”

“I think a lot of people are shocked when I tell them my workout regimen over the last 5 years. So here it is:
.
✅ 3x a week, 30-40 minutes full body strength training
✅ 1-2x a week, 15-30 min cardio
.
That’s. It. No bodybuilder style workouts. No two-hour long, seven day a week gym sessions. No hours spent on the treadmill. Nothing extreme and nothing crazy. I didn’t kill myself in the gym to get results and I didn’t spend hundreds of dollars on products.
.
If you follow me you know that my diet has been totally flexible. I ate all foods. I enjoy all alcohol. I have never done extreme calorie cutting. And I lost my weight eating PLENTY of carbs. No cutting out entire food groups and no expensive, trendy foods.
.
Did I have to work hard? Absolutely. Did I have to make changes? Of course. But my physique changes are the result of consistently showing up. Genetics will always come into play but if the question is whether or not my methods were realistic and attainable, I’d say so.🙂”

“f you’d just lose weight you’d be as pretty as your cousin.” *meets my new boyfriend* “well how did YOU get him? Must be your money” we’ve all had someone say something about our weight that resonated so deeply with us we thought ourselves unworthy. My favorite was always “you have such a pretty face.” Words can tear us down for sure. It took me YEARS to let go of those first two sentences I wrote. I still think about it constantly. Why would someone say this to me? Was it true? First off, shame on anyone who thinks they have the right to speak on anyone’s physical appearance. Secondly, shame on me for believing it for even ONE second. I already was beautiful and for heavens sake my boyfriend (my now husband) loved me because I’m an f-ing amazing human being🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ words can hurt and will stay with us for a long time. I struggled for so long to find my self worth and even thought I was unworthy. I’m standing here today to tell you that no matter what I THINK YOU’RE BEAUTIFUL. I KNOW YOU’RE WORTHY. YOU ARE STRONG. My secret specially for summer, take your meal in every 2-3 hour in shake form; 
E.g
(1) 1 serving oats+ 1 banana + handful almond+ 1 spoon honey
(2) chicken or beans shake
(3) fruit blend shakes
These are few shakes i use in my meals, there are many more variations, depends on your fitness goals ..
