There’s generally a fair amount of moaning from the kids when we head out for a walk... but we always have fun! I love this happy family selfie 😍🤩 #familyblog #familyblogger #findyourepic #wales #cymru #welshwalks #wewalkaround #ordnancesurvey #discovercymru #discoverwales #thisismywales #snowdonia #elidirfawr #familydaysout #eryri #crwydro #visitwales #snowdoniamountains #visitsnowdonia

Llanrwst

📷 Probably, the most photographed landscape in North Wales. 🚘 If you are travelling through Snowdonia you have to do a pit stop in Llanrwst. There are three really important things to do at Llanrwst:
1️⃣ Book a table to enjoy a great Sunday Carvery at The Eagles Hotel & Restaurant @eagles_hotel. It is a charming 18th Century hotel with two bars, restaurant and a large beer garden for summertime.
2️⃣ After lunch you can go out for a walk to help your stomaches digest while you are taking pictures along the river until the bridge Pont Fawr.
3️⃣ Walk across the bridge to the west bank of the flowing River Conwy to taste a great combination of cream teas and traditional scones and cakes following old recipes at Tu Hwnt i’r Bont. Don't forget to order the most famous cake: Bara Brith (also named speckled or mottled bread)
4️⃣ 💡Did you know...??? 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Pont Fawr designed by Inigo Jones means large bridge. The bridge is too narrow for vehicles to pass, and the hump-back limits forward visibility. This explains the local nickname Pont y Rhegi – "bridge of swearing". #llanrwst

Snowdonia National Park

This constant rain has got me looking back at the last few weeks of summer and the days spent in wondering around Snowdonia

Snowdon done! Pretty proud of ourselves. Up and down 3500 feet in under 6 hours, not too bad with my sketchy heart!
