Myfitnesspal, Samsung Health, Apple Healt, Fitbit, you name it, someone has created it. Technology can be very helpful when looking to loose badly fat.

A simple and highly effective strategy everyone can utilise to achieve their fat loss goal is to use a calorie counting app, they are free, and everyone can use them even if your don’t have a vast amount of knowledge around nutrition, in fact all you need to do is scan a barcode and input the serving size.

You can set the app in a way where you can decide your calorie deficit and desired macros, you can set time reminders so you don't miss meals, create your own food's macros if it's not in the app database and you can also share your journey with some friends by connecting with them through the app! An interesting fact about these apps is that you could use a IIFYM (If it fits your macros) approach and still achieve the same results.

**RANT** I like to be positive and not criticise what other people on social media are doing, but I felt prompted to talk about this because it upset me. The selling point for this Beachbody programme is ‘Go Sleeveless in 21 days’. It saddens me that some people are fearful of going sleeveless and it saddens me that a company would advertise a radical transformation of one particular body part in 21 days. If you’re very self-conscious about your arms - whether due to the amount of weight you carry or perhaps lack of muscle definition, then 21 days of arms exercises is NOT the fix. I understand the desire to change the way our bodies look, but we should have a ‘whole person’ approach to fitness. A good exercise programme should improve your heart health, strength, mobility, stress levels, body composition and mental wellbeing, and as a result of all those things, our bodies respond and change. You see, for me, it was when I stopped worrying about the aesthetics and realised the incredible gift I’d been given of a working body that is my responsibility to nourish and empower that I saw the most significant change in my appearance. If there’s a part of your body you struggle with, take a moment and think about how it serves you. What do those arms achieve each day, who do they embrace, lift up? How can you value and empower your body rather than criticise it? Celebrate what you have, and if it’s warm enough, go sleeveless!!

People wana change but don’t wana work for it, people wana build muscle but won’t do what it takes & then get down about not reaching their goal. I’ve trained my ars off literally regards to legs & glutes for 3.5 years now my training isn’t easy & a lot of people wouldn’t be able to hack it & that’s being said in the most humble way I have an extremely strong mindset when it comes to wanting to achieve my goals, sometimes I don’t know whether or not I’m guna be able to move the weights sometimes but I just think Fuk it and go for it 😂😂😂 you need to push yourself way past what you think you are capable of , you need to be consistent every week, don’t give up, work hard & it will come ✅💪🏻 The majority of people think they train hard & they actually don’t. We were excited about Amy joining because she has a golden retriever and we are suckers for dogs. Amy, as you are now officially a member of the FLF family, please bring the dog in to see us! Amy is no stranger to gyms and has held a power lifting regional record. She came to the FLF Performance Centre as she heard it was well equipped and the no1 place to improve her strength.

Buongiorno Verona 🇮🇹 spent the day wandering the alleyways, drinking all the prosecco at cute cafes and saw Juliet's house. Roger and I also ate at a Michelin Stat restaurant for the first time! It was delish BTW ❤
Interesting fact: there's a statue of Juliet outside the house and apparently it's good luck to grab her boob... So I did 😂 need all the luck I can get! .

Fancy a full body workout ? Not much equipment or machines needed 💪🏻✅🙌🏻
ROUND 1: 20 banded squats into 20 banded side steps back into 20 squats & do another 20 side steps (on your side steps sit as low as possible and push the band as far out as you can) HAVE MINIMAL REST INTO 10 press ups, 25 tricep dips & 20 Spider-Man’s ROUND 2: 20 banded goblet squats once done put the dumbbell down and go straight into 20 abductors (sitting as low as you can and pushing the band as wide as you can) straight into 20 bent over row then finish with 20 squat to press ROUND 3: 25 rope crunches into 15 side bends each side & finish off with a banded plank (20 reps) ✅💪🏻 COMPLETE EACH ROUND 2/3 TIMES HAVE MINIMAL REST BETWEEN ROUNDS TO MAKE YOUR WORKOUT INTENSE & ALWAYSSSS USE WEIGHTS THAT YOU STRUGGLE IN YOUR LAST FEW REPS 👍🏻

ROUND 1: 20 banded squats into 20 banded side steps back into 20 squats & do another 20 side steps (on your side steps sit as low as possible and push the band as far out as you can) HAVE MINIMAL REST INTO 10 press ups, 25 tricep dips & 20 Spider-Man’s ROUND 2: 20 banded goblet squats once done put the dumbbell down and go straight into 20 abductors (sitting as low as you can and pushing the band as wide as you can) straight into 20 bent over row then finish with 20 squat to press ROUND 3: 25 rope crunches into 15 side bends each side & finish off with a banded plank (20 reps) ✅💪🏻 COMPLETE EACH ROUND 2/3 TIMES  HAVE MINIMAL REST BETWEEN ROUNDS TO MAKE YOUR WORKOUT INTENSE & ALWAYSSSS USE WEIGHTS THAT YOU STRUGGLE IN YOUR LAST FEW REPS 👍🏻

1 out of 3 of the 5am get ups for this week, done! ✅ At least the last one this week will be for the airport and that’s about the only time I’m actually happy about waking up at that time...it’s now been 2 full months of Damien and I having PT sessions with @jag_fitness_nutrition and although (I must admit) the early morning sessions don’t get any easier, it’s been SO worth it for the results and there’s no better feeling than after just finishing a gruelling session. It actually makes you feel like you can take on anything 💪🏽. So yes, although another day where I’ve had to pull myself out of bed prematurely, it’s also been another great start to the day, and it’s only just beginning, so let’s get to it! 🤸🏽‍♀️

My dream to become a professional dancer came true! I was hired by the local National Philharmonic! I couldn’t believe my luck. On the day I was hired I stayed to watch the class just to realise it will be a lot of hard work for me to do.

I was one of the weakest dancers in the group, so I asked to stay behind the leading girl in hope to learn from her how to become a better dancer. For the first few months I’d always stay after the rehearsal to practice. It was exhausting! At the same time I never felt happier.

I still remember the excitement before my first show. I was so ready! My heart was about to jump out and guess what - my part was cancelled because stage wasn’t big enough to hold the entire group 🤣 It’s funny now, but at that moment I was devastated. How could they be so cruel to me?! I thought my number was very important. Yes, I meant to be at the very back of the stage. Yes, nobody would see me anyway. So what?! I was so close to become a real professional dancer. First performance. And now I had to wait until tomorrow for the next show. I felt like I couldn’t wait even one minute, if you know what I mean.

Like I said it seams funny now because I’ve had many shows to perform. Eventually I moved forward on stage, a bit closer to the leading dancers. And even had moments when I didn’t want to go on stage 🙈 Once I had to perform with my body temperature 40 degrees. As you probably imagined, I hated my job at that moment and I’ll never forget that particular show.

I was a professional dancer for almost 10 years and had to stop because of injuries at the age of 30. Although I never became a prima ballerina I’m very grateful for what I had. And I’ll never forget people who helped me.

I believe if you persistently and consistently going towards your goal - you’ll get what you want 😉
