Dont fixate on the visible number. Someone said to me lastnight " you should have waaaaay more followers, you're amazing, I love you!!" I responded "..just because they dont follow you...doesn't mean they dont follow you" and it inspired me to make this post in hopes to encourage others not to let their follower number put a damper in what they are doing if it isnt high enough to "standards" Every post I make I get on average 20 THOUSAND to 40 THOUSAND views and on my MIND BLOWING posts I get 100-500 THOUSAND PLUS views and I currently have a viral video that has 6.3 MILLION VIEWS..but have only 10k followers. This is a gentle reminder not to obsess over numbers on social media to the point where it consumes you and dictates your level of importance. Stop looking at how many followers others have vs you and just keep on your craft😘 If I didn't have a business page that shows me my insights I would think my work is not being viewed much at all. My page is open.. this means some wont follow...instead they will routinely search my name every single day for motivation. Family, close friends, fellow trainers may follow you but won't ever hit like..they will study every post you make though in full detail. Keep winnnnning everyone, dont focus on numbers because TRUST ME.. many are watching 😘❤

Many women have felt a weight lifted when they did finally open up to their families about the challenges they were going through, and actually learned valuable information about their family history that helped them moving forward. It can also be helpful to explain that you’re trying to have kids to prevent this same conversation from happening at every family gathering.

Regardless of how much you want to share, just try and remember in most situations they may just not know they’re offending you or being hurtful in asking these questions.

❌Règles finies, elles ont duré le même temps que d'habitude, pas de changement suite à la fausse couche! C'est déjà une bonne chose 😅. En espérant qu'il en soit de même pour l'ovulation maintenant 🤞🍀!

D'après les applications, elle aura lieu dans 8,9 ou 10 jours ! Pile poil pour Noël 🎁🎅! En général, je la sens bien (seins sensibles, glaire blanc d'oeuf et douleurs à l'ovaire) mais comme je ne sais pas trop comment se passe ce 1er cycle post FC, je vais attaquer les TO mercredi ou jeudi je pense ☺️ en essayant d'être assidue (et ça ce n'est pas gagné 😂)!

My last hospital scan didn't go as expected, I didn't ovulate last month 😞 so have another blood test Friday, if this one shows no ovulation then it's tablets! Turns out the folicile, wasn't a folicile, and is actually a cyst, it's nothing to worry about and is normal, but there went my happy ovulation bubble! #ttc #tryingforbaby2 #wantinganotherbaby #desperate #ovulation #cyclemonitoring

I haven’t shared much about our journey to conceive. It took us a long time to get pregnant. Our saving grace was OvuSense. It measures your core body temp and accurately predicts when you’re going to ovulate. I can’t say enough good things about it. If you’re struggling to get pregnant please look into OvuSense. It’s a total game changer. If you have questions about it please DM me. I love sharing about it because it gave us our baby due in June.

When you know how your energy works throughout the month it can help with what activities you do with your children. Here is how aligning with your cycle can help during each phase.

Follicular/Waxing Moon Phase: Your energy is increasing every day so it's a good time to do activities with the kids. Start some projects with them or play some games. Your mind is at it's sharpest during this phase so you can focus better.

Ovulation/Full Moon Phase: Your physical energy is at it's highest so take the kids to the park, plan some play dates or have a dance party with the kids. This is the best time to get out of the house and have some fun.

Luteal/Waning Moon Phase: This phase starts off with high energy but then it starts to decrease toward the end. If you have the energy then do things with the kids but give yourself grace on those days you don't. Have some coloring books or activities that the kids can do by themselves ready for those days you don't have any energy.

Menstrual/New Moon Phase: Your energy is at the lowest during this phase so this is the best phase to watch some movies or read a book with the kids. Any activity that you can do while laying down and resting your body.

Knowing ahead of time how your energy is going to be can help with the mom guilt. You know that later in the month you will have more energy for your kids if you allow your body to rest during the menstrual or new moon phase.

Aaalso:
Der erste Ovu war richtig positiv an ZT 21 gegen 22 Uhr. Gegen 24 Uhr hatte ich einen sehr starken Mittelschmerz, ich konnte fast nicht mehr laufen. Danach flogen noch ein paar 🐝. Am nächsten Morgen war meine Temperatur angestiegen, ich ging davon aus, dass der ES vorbei war. Am nächsten Tag sackte die Tempi um 0,1 Grad ab und stieg heute wieder an von 36,65 auf 36,85.Jetzt hat Femometer meinen Eisprung von gestern auf ZT 21 umdatiert. Ovus sind bei mir immer 2 Tage positiv.
Also was meint ihr? Bin ich ES+3 (ES an ZT21) oder ES+2 (ES an ZT 22)?

Little bit of humour this AM to lighten my mood!! My #bestie sent me this to keep my spirits light hearted! It worked and it was a nice surprise through the post! However, today’s post is an update on my last @zitawestivf appt. So I took the clomid for 5 days then I went back for a scan to see if any action had happened. The scan showed that I had 1 follicle that was 10mm and another one that was 11mm. Which is encouraging apparently and may mean I ovulate this month. So since the appt I have been doing the ovulation sticks but to date no positive signs.... 🤷‍♀️ A little bit disheartening as in this situation you can get yourself high over any small change but to then be let down. Next steps- go back to clinic in Jan and possibly try a higher dose of clomid or try something else doctor suggests. I’m also looking forward to Jan as I have a follow up NHS appt and I’m going to push for IVF as I can’t keep loosing months like this. Before I know it another year will be gone. And all my money 💰!! This #fertility game is costing a ridiculous amount of money. And stress! I’m debating whether I pick that Gyne up on his miss diagnosis as I paid for it or whether it’s more stress than I need. But feel like I want to save any other girls going through something similar, all the possible checks need to be done!!! (He diagnosed me with HA without scanning me- even though NHS had diagnosed me with PCOS with a scan a few months prior and shared their notes!) Je n’ai pas mis les pépites de chocolat, à ta guise d’en mettre !

J’ai écrasé ma banane dans la noix de coco râpée et un peu de cannelle et j’ai formé les biscuits. Au four 15 minutes à 180 degrés !

Pour celles qui devinent : combo biscuits en forme d’utérus (I mean cuterus 😂) et tisane de feuilles de framboisiers ... ou comment être plus forte que la maladie de l’endométriose 🎗🌸🎗

Currently CD17 and I am pretty sure that I haven’t ovulated yet. I have been using the clear blue ovulation tests and I am on my 5th day of the flashy face! I am just soo confused because I had 5 days of this last month but I then ovulated on CD16 and CD14 the month before.. maybe I’m not going to ovulate this month??
My BBT is staying pretty low and hasn’t risen at all and my daily OPKs are staying consistently the same.
Why can’t this be simple?? Maybe I’m out for December?? .

Currently CD17 and I am pretty sure that I haven’t ovulated yet. I have been using the clear blue ovulation tests and I am on my 5th day of the flashy face! I am just soo confused because I had 5 days of this last month but I then ovulated on CD16 and CD14 the month before.. maybe I’m not going to ovulate this month??
My BBT is staying pretty low and hasn’t risen at all and my daily OPKs are staying consistently the same. 
Why can’t this be simple?? Maybe I’m out for December?? .

Je suis assez d'accord ! Ca te permet de prendre un peu de temps pour toi, de faire quelque chose qui te fait plaisir (comme lire par exemple, même juste 10 minutes), pratiquer une posture de yoga.

Ca change considérablement la suite de ta journée !

I have like a trillion all the time because I have a problem 🤣🤷🏼‍♀️] of me babbling, cooking other people’s recipes, filming my husband Spencer being his unapologetic self, & our every day life while trudging through the swamps of infertility

Update time: there is no update 😣 we are still waiting for the legal contract to come back, once we receive that we will be moving forward with transferring the embryos across the US to our clinic 🥰 so incredibly excited - & not to mention we LOVE the family who is donating their leftover embryos to us. It just seriously makes this whole situation soo much better. God is SO GOOD Y’ALL

I’ve been messaged quite a bit lately on how I keep a positive mindset through this season. Y’all, one word... wait, three words

IT AIN’T EASY

Every single day I remind myself that this is our story & there is a reason for this path in our lives. Maybe our two rounds of #IVF did not work because the donated embryo is meant to be here on this earth ❤️ one step at a time, give yourself grace, say a little prayer, listen to music that lifts you up— my gosh listening to music helps me SO MUCH. Do things that make you happy! You’re still in there, don’t lose yourself my friend

Anxiety (evil) has been trying to take over my body lately. It’s been a major struggle. NOT 👏🏼 TODAY 👏🏼 SATAN 👏🏼

I'm ovulating.

For me this means:
▪️Headaches and migraines.
▪️A pretty severe dip in my mental health - anxiety, low moods, not wanting to talk to anyone or go anywhere. And everyone annoys me. Yeah, you. You're annoying me.
▪️Twinges and pain in my ovaries.
▪️Back ache.
▪️Loads more discharge.
▪️Spots spots spots.
▪️So. Very. Tired.
▪️Very horny. Which doesn't mix well with being annoyed by people.

Why did I choose to become a fertility awareness educator?

Fertility awareness is the sex education I wish I learned in middle school.

When women actually learn how their fertility works, they learn that getting pregnant is not as easy as the drop of a hat. We learn to appreciate and live with rather than work against our fertility.

Almost every person who I've seen read #takingchargeofyourfertility or take a FAM class comes out of the experience saying, "Why have I not always known this information? I wish I could have known this when I was younger!" Learning fertility awareness changed my life, and I know it can change yours too. ‼

Do I believe FAM is the right method of birth control for every woman? ‼

No, it is probably not.

But I do believe that every woman should be taught how to understand her own body. What she does with that information is up to her.

Why did I choose to become a fertility awareness educator?

Fertility awareness is the sex education I wish I learned in middle school.

I decided to look up my top images from 2019 & when it popped up on my phone it instantly made me tear up. Gosh, we have been through so much in such a short amount of time.🎢

From #IVF round 2, thinking we got 18 embryos & then found out the next day we got 24...10 mature and three made it to fertilization. The top right photo is finding out we had one 6 day embryo that made it to freeze... those were the longest days ever waiting to know if any of them made it. Then the top left photo of transferring that one little amazing babe 😭🙌🏼

The middle right photo that our transfer failed 💔... and then the middle left photo discussing our next steps of moving forward with embryo donation 🤯 goodness, what a freakin’ rollercoaster
.
It’s hard to look at these images and realize that it all never worked out. We were so hopeful and so thankful
.
Then I got to thinking— We ARE still so hopeful and so thankful. Thankful for this incredible family to donate their leftover embryos. Thankful for the opportunity to move forward. Thankful that I have an amazing husband and although he is hurting, too, he is pushing forward with me by my side
.
Y’all, looking back at this past year might sting you a little too... I’m thinking of you all. This next year is GONNA BE OUR TURN 💪🏼

We don't all ovulate on day 14 or bleed after 28 days. You might ovulate day 10 or day 18 and there is nothing wrong with that.⁠

In my last post we covered the follicular phase. Go back and read that if you haven't.⁠

We don't all ovulate on day 14 or bleed after 28 days. You might ovulate day 10 or day 18 and there is nothing wrong with that.⁠

Contrary to popular belief – your body is not able to get pregnant on every day of your cycle!
⠀⠀
Although all it takes is 1 single sperm on 1 single sexual encounter for pregnancy to occur, it doesn’t always happen as easily as it sounds.
⠀⠀
To get pregnant, your body needs to be fertile (able to get pregnant).
Men produce sperm every day, which means they are (potentially) fertile every day. But women are only fertile a few days in their period cycle, as they only produce an egg once in every period cycle – which is called ovulation.
⠀⠀
The time in which a woman is fertile (able to get pregnant) is roughly 5 days before ovulation occurs and 2 days after. This accounts for sperm survival inside the vaginal environment for up to 5 days, and also accounts for an egg lifespan of up to 24 hours.
⠀⠀
In an average menstrual cycle there are actually less days on which pregnancy can not occur than days when pregnancy can occur.
⠀⠀
Bottom line is: No egg = No pregnancy.

The graph above shows an example of a fertile window when ovulation happens on day 14 of a 28 day cycle. This is just an example, and ovulation could happen on ANY day of your cycle, which would shift the fertile window accordingly. What doesn’t really change, however, is the fact that there are at least 5 days before and 2 days after ovulation when we are potentially fertile. Outside that window, the likelihood of pregnancy is very very very low.
AND
Because menstrual cycles can be inconsistent, unless you know when you’re ovulating, you can’t know when you’re fertile and when you’re not.
Many women successfully track ovulation and determine when they’re fertile using fertility awareness techniques, including basal body temperature tracking, cervical fluid observations, cervical position, and other secondary ovulation signs.

🙃 The vast majority of women I see in clinic very first started the pill to deal with a period problem rather than solely for contraception. Typically when they are teenagers when their reproductive system is still maturing. ⁠⠀
⁠⠀
Anything from long cycles, short cycles, acne, period pain, heavy periods, mood changes, basically anything that is seemingly going awry with the menstrual cycle - the pill is offered as a solution. ⁠⠀
⁠⠀
The issue I take with this is that is bypasses a golden opportunity to dive deep into why these symptoms are coming up in the first place. Our menstrual cycles are designed to be symptom free. When we experience symptoms - something is up! ⁠⠀
⁠⠀
If you take the pill in oder to suppress a symptom (no judgement, I've been there too) it is delaying whatever is out of balance getting addressed. ⁠⠀
⁠⠀
Let's say you are experiencing horrid period pain due to high levels of inflammation in your body and you are prescribed the pill. Whatever causative factors were triggering the inflammation and period pain in the first place haven't been identified and worked on. It doesn't fix the problem, it hides evidence that there is one. ⁠⠀
⁠⠀
The pill is also inflammatory, so that also adding to your bodies inflammatory load. And what is at the root of every chronic illness? Inflammation 🙃. ⁠⠀
⁠⠀
My approach (and the approach in Chinese medicine) is to be curious, to face the reality of a situation and tackle it head on, instead of quickly trying to suppress it for it to be delt with at a later date. ⁠⠀
⁠⠀
Get curious, why is the body giving us this message, what is out of whack? What simple changes can be made to gently ease the body back into homeostatic balance? ⁠⠀
⁠⠀
Also, there are amazing GPs and specialists (some of which I work collaboratively with in clinic!) out there that care about a root cause approach with their patients and not symptom suppression. They do exist! If you've had a less the satisfactory experience with your doc in regards to solving any period problems, seek out another opinion 🙏⁠⠀
