Had a lovely bowl of golden porridge for today’s post workout breakfast. Despite it being Sunday I woke up super early today and went to the gym, because I have a day of studying and homework ahead of me. Especially on days where I have a lot of work to get done and I know that I will be holed up at home all day, I find getting an early start and especially moving my body helps me be so much more productive and concentrated throughout the day.
D‘eats:
- 70g of oats cooked in water and soy milk
- added a mashed date, cinnamon, turmeric, black pepper and flax meal
- Toppings: banana, frozen raspberries, chopped walnuts, raisins and unsweetened @alpro soy yoghurt

➡️ Pour les becs sucrés: écraser la moitié d’une 🍌 et mélanger dans le porridge une fois réchauffé et ajouter l’autre moitié de la 🍌 en rondelles ⠀

➡️ Pour ceux/celles pour qui le goût sucré subtile de la banane suffit: découper une 🍌 entière en rondelles et ajouter au porridge ⠀

Breakfast was an absolute delight this morning. I steamed a carrot, made 40g of porridge using whole milk, cinnamon, pumpkin and turmeric. I then topped it with some honey. 🍒 Sunday Baking Session - Cherry Bakewell Muffins

For the Muffin Base:
2 tbsp. ground flax seeds + 1/4 cup water whisked together and allowed to sit for about ten minutes
1 cup whole wheat flour
3/4 cup @oatpantry Cherry Bakewell Porridge Oats
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 cup milk of choice
1/4 cup coconut oil melted
1/4 cup coconut sugar sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup fresh cherries pitted and chopped
Sprinkling of flaked almonds for the topping

Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Line 12 muffin cups.
2. Next, mix muffin base ingredients in medium mixing bowl, starting with flour, oats, salt and baking powder.
3. Add next three ingredients and flax seed mixture. Stir just until mixed.
Fold in cherries.
4. Divide batter evenly among muffin cups.
5. Sprinkle each muffin with a bit of flaked almonds.
6. Bake for about twenty minutes or until springy and topping begins to brown.

HOMEMADE GRANOLA ✨✨✨

Combine around 200g of oats with any nuts and seeds of your fancy, add some raisins and the spices and then stir in about 1 tbsp of maple syrup. Add the mixture to a tray and bake in the oven for 15-20 mins on 180 degrees, giving the mixture a stir halfway through. Enjoy!

Served with @alpro soya yoghurt, banana and chia seeds ✌🏼

-1 scoop of chocolate protein, i used @womensbest but you can definitely sub with cocoa powder for that sweetnessss -1 tbsp cacao powder, i used @naturya (has soo many health benefits and makes the oats even more chocolatey 🤤)
✨mix all these ingredients together in a sealable container and place in the fridge overnight✨
In the morning Top them Off with:
-Raspberries -Frozen Banana
-Dried Mulberries -Crunchy Peanut Butter, i used the @myproteinuk crunchy pb from their vegan line
-Vegan or Not Greek Yogurt
-Sprinkle of Cacao Nibs, i used the @naturya ones

Ingredients - 1 table spoon of organic peanut 🥜 butter - 1 table spoon of dark chocolate chips - 1 table spoon of cinnamon - 1 table spoon of honey 🍯 - 1 packet of jungle oats
Method
1. Mix all the ingredients into one bowl
2. Take one spoon of mix to roll into balls
3. Put the peanut butter balls into fridge for 30 minutes

🥜🍯On The Go Snack 🥜🍯
Ingredients - 1 table spoon of organic peanut 🥜 butter - 1 table spoon of dark chocolate chips - 1 table spoon of cinnamon - 1 table spoon of honey 🍯 - 1 packet of jungle oats 
Method 
1. Mix all the ingredients into one bowl 
2. Take one spoon of mix to roll into balls 
3. Put the peanut butter balls into fridge for 30 minutes

Black Forest oats 🍒 🍫
Recipe:
Heat almond milk in pan, add oats and half a mashed banana. Simmer until thick, add a handful of sunflower seeds towards the end.
Stew blueberries in a little water and cane sugar, drain liquid and add on top of oats.

PB AND BANANA OATMEAL ➡️ 1/2 cup oats, 1 scoop @thatprotein peanut protein, 1 tbsp chia seeds, 1/2 tsp cinnamon pinch salt, half mashed banana, 1 tsp maple syrup + 1 cup plant milk ~ cooked over a medium heat in a small non-stick saucepan until creamy 🥳 topped with banana, homemade roasted peanut butter and mixed seeds 🙌 happy friday (finally!!!) 😘

also emma eating a breakfast that isn’t oatmeal?! 😱 a rarity! on days where i don’t rlly feel like oatmeal (again, a rarity), i will opt for a phat bowl of fruit and granola! 🥰 also bowls like these have been saving my literal life during my morning study 📖 sessions, which i have been doing all week hahahah rip! 😩 i have two final tests for uni due on sunday so wish me luck kids 😎

HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP with a food 🥗🍩
What does it look a like ? 👀
Speaking from my own experience and common " issues" I see with my clients.
HEALTHY BALANCED EATING 🧘‍♀️
▪️ is ALLOWING yourself to eat everything, without any restrictions and view different food as more nourishing and less nourishing , rather than "bad" and "good"
▪️ FORGETTING about calories /macros - picking lower calorie/ low fat/ low carb option just because it is supposed to be better option won't satisfy you, and will leave you with craving you had before 🍟
▪️ is ENJOYING every bite of your meal- be mindful of taste, texture flavours of meal, without distractions
▪️ HONOURING your hunger - hungry ? It's time to eat- postponing meal will leave you waaay to hungry afterwards which then may lead to overating later ▪️APPRECIATE your fullness- listen to your body signals - it's ok to leave something on your plate and come back to it later - it won't run away .
▪️NOT thinking about food - it's ok to think about what food you gonna have for lunch etc but constantly obsessing around what and how much, how healthy it should be etc. just create unnecessary stress

When looking to make lactation cookies for friends a while back, I had a really hard time finding any lactation cookie recipes that were not loaded with dairy, sugar and white flour. Knowing that some babies don't do well with dairy, I decided to create a LACTATION COOKIE that’s healthier than most, vegan, gluten-free and still delicious! 🍪🍫🥛💯 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Similar to my lactation bites that I shared earlier this week, these cookies are made with ingredients to help boost milk production and supply for breastfeeding, like brewer’s yeast, oats and flaxseed. 👶🏻🍼🙌 When recipe testing these cookies, I made several batches to make sure they were perfect, which meant that I had plenty on hand to freeze as part of my pre-baby meal prep.

Spoiler alert: It is fine for men to eat these cookies... they won't start lactating. But feel free to tell your hubby that they will make him lactate if you want to keep the cookies all to yourself. It can be our little secret. 😂

A delicious bowl of vanilla and date porridge made with coconut milk. Topped with the a very more-ish cashew and vanilla nut butter from @londonbruncher who has created one of the most delectable smooth, creamy nut butters and very kindly sent us a jar in the post (thank you 😋) Can’t see it lasting long as it’s very easy to eat from the jar with a spoon.
There’s our cacao nutty granola and mixed berry chia jam on here too with toasted cashew pieces and banana.
