My requirements for an after school snack: healthy, tasty, and use simple, wholesome ingredients. Gotta love a homemade snack mix like this Sweet & Smoky Snack Mix. I’m loving @simplemills Almond Flour Crackers - they’re slightly salty and add the perfect crunch. Added bonus that they’re made with simple, whole food ingredients that you can pronounce and your body will recognize. All products are certified gluten free, non-GMO, allergen friendly, and use nothing artificial ever. The Farmhouse Cheddar and Sea Salt both taste great in snack mixes! Simple Mills Sweet & Smoky Snack Mix
Combine the following in a mixing bowl:
1 Tbsp white chia seeds
1 Tbsp chili powder
2 Tbsp maple syrup
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 cup pepitas
1 cup cashews, raw
Bake on lined sheet pan at 325 F for 15-20mins, toss occasionally.
Let cool and combine with the following:
1 box Simple Mills Farmhouse Cheddar Almond Flour Crackers
1 (2.5oz) bag Beef Jerky, smoked

✔️1 package @alfrescochicken Rotisserie Style Chicken Sausage⠀

The chicken macros are friendly. I usually use thighs so I get a bit higher fat content...

Day 19 of Whole 30... skipped dinner at my families house because they were ordering out (worst part of this diet is you literally can’t eat ANYTHING out) and @joeynoodles_66 made stuffed peppers for us instead... repeat meal from this past week but so delicious 🤤 this time we used less of the vegan cheese so it’s around 3 SP for a pepper (if that) 🌶

Peanut butter freezer fudge cups! One of my favorite quick treats. Mix equal parts peanut butter and coconut oil (I did 1/2 cup of each) and melt until liquid, then spoon into a mini muffin tin and freeze for about 20 minutes or until solid. You can mix in anything you like and use any nut butter- I mixed in flax and chia seeds this time but chopped pecans, unsweetened coconut flakes, cacao powder, cacao nibs, and blueberries are also great with these!

It’s Sunday which means meal prep & grocery shopping dayyyyyy 🙌🏻 for breakfast this week I’m making oatmeal bake (duh) 😛 Recipe 👉🏻 Take 2 cups of rolled oats and pour them into an 8 x 6 baking dish. Cut up/aesthetically place your favorite fruit on top of the oats. Then, whisk together 2 cups of unsweetened vanilla almond milk, 1 scoop of your favorite protein powder, cinnamon, and 1/3 cup of egg whites (egg whites optional, but it does change the fluffiness of the oatmeal) and pour it on top of the oats AND fruit. Bake the whole thing at 375 for 35 minutes! 🍓 I get about 4 servings out of one dish & I keep it in the fridge! 💕
