Broccoli Salad 
Ingredients:
Makes: 8-10 servings * 6 cups broccoli florets
* 1/2 medium sweet onion, minced
* 2 tablespoons Craisins
* 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds

Dressing:
* 1/2 cup light olive oil mayonnaise (swap: greek yogurt)
* 1 tablespoon olive oil
* 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
* 2 tablespoons Truvia® brown sugar
* salt & pepper to taste

Directions:
In a large bowl, combine first 3 ingredients in a large bowl.

To make dressing, combine remaining ingredients, stirring with a whisk. Add dressing to broccoli mixture in small amounts, tossing well. Make sure broccoli is well coated but not drenched. Add pumpkin seeds & gently fold into salad. Chill for 1 hour. Enjoy. #healthyrecipes #plantbased #fitlife

Day 17 of 75 workout 2. To begin with the eloquence of a Jersey Bro it was hot as balls today. The kind of hot day where you just sweat 😓 by breathing. This mornings five miles on the beach 🏖 banged me up. So I spent most of the day shopping 🤢 with my nieces. I was more of an Uber for my family. So by the time I got back to the beach house I was in dire need of exertion. Here’s my workout (BTW I get cocky with the swings in video and start doing double taps).
•
•4 rounds •150 single unders
•10 burpees ( 🔥 🏀 🏈)
•20 med ball slams 12 lbs
•30 kB swings @45 lbs
•2x 1 mile bike repeats •62:06 •
It’s about 45 minutes since my workout 🏋️‍♀️ and my brain is still fried from the heat. I have zero appetite right now, just drinking water to rehydrate. Only with in the last two weeks have I felt like I’m exerting myself to the degree I’m capable, why did it take 1 year to break through? In retrospect I accepted mediocrity too willingly and too easily. It’s clear I could have pushed myself harder and more frequently yet I was taking the easy road. Today I feel like I’m moving in the direction I was moving 5-6 years ago. All I can say is today I’m grateful for @aaron.pimpis who turned me into @andyfrisella and the insane #75hard challenge. There is the way, and there is everything else. I have chosen the way because what other choice do you have with a single chance at life? •

If you’re wondering why I have so many points, it’s because WW bases how many points you’re given based on your age, height, weight, activity levels, etc. We are all very different people, and so are our bodies. Not everyone gets the average 23 points a day. The high amount of points works for my body. I started with 65 dailies, I now have 54. If the points WW gave to me were too many, than I wouldn’t have lost a single lb. Currently down 90, so I think their program works! .

Ugh...real talk here. I woke up super bloated this morning and my stomach looked like I was 8 months pregnant. I have been miserable!! So....I stuffed myself into my fat pants and spent the morning with my sister at the Festival in the Park. Amazing weather!! I am determined to not let my body dictate what I do and where I go!!!! You can definitely see the bloat in my face!!!

Ingredients
8 cups chopped broccoli florets
6 ounces sharp cheddar, cut into small cubes
¼ cup diced red onion
¼ cup thinly sliced almonds
8 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
½ cup mayo
¼ cup sour cream
2 tablespoons ranch seasoning mix
1 teaspoon white distilled vinegar

Instructions
Add the broccoli, cheddar, onion, almonds, and bacon to a large mixing bowl and stir to combine.
Add the mayo, sour cream, ranch seasoning, and vinegar to a small mixing bowl and stir well.

Greek Yogurt “Spicy Mayo” dressing/dip

I got this idea from @healthymealsbycamille who is a MUST follow for delicious and very nutritious meal ideas! She has helped me so much!

I’m pretty much obsessed with this lately! I’m using it as dressing on all my salads, and topping my nachos, pizzas, crunch wraps, etc. with it!
.
I find that 15-20g is a GENEROUS serving, and the macros are amazing!
.
15g is 10 calories: 1.5C/1P/0F
.
The ratio I have been using is:
.
▪️140g plain non fat greek yogurt (bc that’s how much is in a single serv cup)
▪️8g gHughes Sugar Free Ketchup
▪️8g Sriracha Chili Sauce
▪️8g Sam’s Choice Chipotle Mustard (Walmart)
▪️Liquid Aminos (or Soy Sauce) to taste - I did a generous quick pour.
▪️Seasonings: garlic powder and Tony Chacheres. {I didn’t measure any out, sorry! Just pour random amounts and taste. You can’t mess it up!}
.
📝I enter it as a recipe in the Lose it App and put the “Serving Size” as the total number of grams it yields. (Mine came out to 169 grams) - so then I can easily use however many grams I want, “servings”, and log it correctly!

I took my Fitbit off about a month ago because tracking steps/ exercise etc had become an unhealthy obsession. Today I felt like I could put it back on and it would be ok. Well, I literally dug it out then did a 1/2 hr @popsugarfitness HIIT workout. Sweated like a mofo, heart jumping out of my chest, feeling like I want to vomit  and the stupid thing only registers 8 active minutes!? So my stupid irrational brain tells me that because my workout didn’t register on the app, I need to do more so the app recognises I’ve met my goals and it’s got my stomach all tied up in knots. And that’s exactly why I’m taking it back off again.

How is this even the same person? 
These past few weeks I have:
👉🏻Spent 13 days with no makeup, a pony tail and a baseball hat on my head when I used to be the girl who couldn’t get out of the house without at least having a bit of mascara on.
👉🏻Walked everywhere! When I used to be the girl who would think that a half hour walk was sooo far and would prefer driving.
👉🏻Ate all the foods but made sure that my portions were right. When I would have been the girl eating everything and anything because “I was on vacation”.

Weight loss does really change more than your physical appearance. It’s your whole mindset and your entire outlook on life that is positively affected. Taking this trip 10 years ago wouldn’t have been this amazing and I know it. It just makes me want to travel even more 💚✈️

Had a great girls day today with @momma_o_drama !! We started the day meal prepping 12 meals at @dinnerbellstl - this was my first time there, and I LOVED it!! So much fun putting your meals together and I can’t wait to try new items! Had a great girls day today with @momma_o_drama !! We started the day meal prepping 12 meals at @dinnerbellstl - this was my first time there, and I LOVED it!! So much fun putting your meals together and I can’t wait to try new items! Next, we went to lunch at @sybergs_stl and ended the day with a mani/pedi and watching the kids sing and dance to baby shark! #ItsALifestyle

This post is a couple days over due.. I HAVE LOST 101.2lbs in just ELEVEN MONTHS!!!🔥🔥
I am honestly LOST for words. I just want to take a moment to say how PROUD I am of myself!! ❤️
I have lost all 101.2lbs naturally. I did not have surgery, I did not use any pills or supplements. All I’ve done is eat healthy & exercised!! Okay, yeah that makes it sound simpler than it is... it was not easy!! I have put in countless hours and late nights at the gym. I have tracked my food according to @ww . I have said no to get togethers, to bowls full of ice cream and I have used all my willpower when out to eat. 
I have had cheat days, I have had days that I have binged. I have had weeks that I’ve been perfectly on track. 
These past 11 months have been the best of my life. I have had my fair shares of highs and lows. But I have truly loved this journey. 
This journey has not only strengthened and better me physically, but my mental health is also the best it’s ever been. 
The best thing I have learned from losing 101.2lbs is that you can do ANYTHING you set your mind to. 
The best thing I ever did was believe in myself. I have learned to love myself. I have learned willpower and how to control my eating habits. I have grown physically and mentally. 
I want to say thank you to the girl on the left. I may not be her anymore, but she was STRONG and COURAGEOUS enough to finally put herself first. I am so proud that she finally used her PCOS as motivated, instead of an excuse. She was terrified of change. But I am so proud of her for never, ever giving up❤️ So next time you say you can’t, or that it’s too hard.. let my photos motivate you. Let my words sink in. YOU CAN!!! It’s NEVER too late to change. You are your own biggest enemy.
I promise you, all the hours exercising and all the food tracking is WORTH IT!! 👏🏻

I crushed it out at the gym for the first time since Tuesday!! Pushed myself to do 40 minutes on the treadmill while watching Queer Eye ❤️❤️❤️. I’m officially going to watch that ONLY at the gym to help motivate me to keep going!! I took lots of breaks but I freaking did it! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Also, super exciting news!! I retried out the stair master machine & didn’t feel like I was gonna fall off!! That’s a huge NSV for me!! Above was my face after getting off & being exhausted 😂. Also, I did 4 minutes on level one!! Obviously not the best but it’s the start of this!! Totally going to be adding that into my everyday adventure at the gym!! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Heyyyy I’m wearing a crop top! Not new as I wore a crop top back in March in public but this is the 2nd time in public. I changed my leggings so they don’t come up to my boobs. But this is huge for me since I typically wear big baggy clothes and don’t feel comfortable in tight clothing. I feel so good. I feel free and more comfortable in this than I did back in March. ~19 lbs since then. I’m so much more confident than I was in January. This journey has done some good things for me.

👍 Transformation couple in a wedding dress on a bridge edition.

I’m feeling extra grateful for my Husband this week. He’s my rock when it feels like I’m surrounded by quicksand. He has always loved the girl on the left just as much as the girl on the right, but the biggest difference is that now so do I. It didn’t happen overnight, and it’s still a work in progress, but the new photos symbolize that I stopped giving up on myself, and started to realize my worth. The minute I realized that I was the only one in my own way, things started to change. @ww gave me the tools and then it was up to me whether or not I chose to use them. I’m so happy that I did!
.
I have so many memories in these two spots, but the real story was written in the years between the two photos. Go out there and write your story, friends! It’s your book and it can have as many chapters as you need!
.
Side note: the first bridge is right by our wedding venue and the second bridge (I swear it’s a bridge but the railing got cropped out in this side by side situation) is where my Grandpa proposed to my Grandma!

2 years, 70 pounds less. I’ve changed more than just physically since this time but to be honest I’m really proud of myself. In 2016 I was 205 pounds and as of today I’ve lost 70. I think I my current weight(135)is pretty good for 5’ 10”. I’ve gone from size 15 jeans to size 2/4, I’ve worked so hard and now I can see it. 2 years later I’m so different in ways I never would have guessed. Thank you to everyone who supported me but more than that thanks to everyone who poked fun at me because without you guys I would have never made this change for myself. It was lost healthily and one of the most difficult things. I’m still not 100% confident but I feel so much better and I’m fine with slightly bragging about this. No matter what others say, only you can define your worth. So from a 1X to a small, from 2016 to 2018, and from my life then to my life now, if there’s one thing I learned is that hard work will eventually pay off. (Also the weird corset top thingy of the costume makes my waist look snatched) .

Full and happy. 😃 3 weeks back into the swing of things and feeling really great. Taking some time off dieting to really listen to my body, eat whatever, and get a handle on my binge eating disorder was a Godsend. Truly. 🙏🏽 Even getting back to using a scale after nearly throwing it out, it’s a much more peaceful experience. I say it often and it bares repeating, putting mental health first is SO important. I gained weight during my “intuitive eating” phase which is totally normal, but it worked. I have not binged in 28 days! Even on cheat days. That was my only non-negotiable “rule” when I decided to try this diet gain. Absolutely no binge eating. 
This long, binge-free streak did not just happen. I have been actively tracking the days( see my highlight “The X Effect”) since May 24th, and there were binge episodes in between then and June 22nd, so it took work to get to this point. 28 days binge-free, these are the numbers that truly matter to me.

In order to keep myself out of the house I stopped at some stores I almost never go to. I saw @rubybudgetsonketo went to Big Lots and found some Quest cookies. They didn’t have any at mine but I found the pickles and Gouda @mooncheesesnacks I then stopped at a local health food store. This is the only place by me that sells the @rebelcreamery So I had to try it. They also had the new @lilys_sweets crispy rice bar. I DO NOT want to admit how much those two items were. Let’s just say close to $13. 🤦🏼‍♀️ I’m a cheap ass. But seeing these items posted everywhere, I just had to try them. Even if it’s just once. .

Why is it that people we haven’t seen in a while or even complete strangers ask us if we’re married or if we have kids? I get messages from complete strangers asking about my relationship, asking when I’ll get married & asking why I haven’t got children yet as I’m ‘getting on’. It’s annoying & to be honest, it’s downright rude. .....

What business is it of other people? Why do they feel the need to comment on my life? I’m HAPPY and honestly, that’s all that really matters.

If you’re going to ask an old friend a question or worse yet, someone you don’t even know; let your first question be “HOW ARE YOU” or ask if they’re happy or living their best life? Ask them if they’re ok? - You might be the first person to check in with them!

To all my ladies (and men) who feel behind in life… trust me YOU ARE NOT! Although it might feel like everyone around you is getting married, having kids or growing up… it’s just your focus. Trust me that there are equal if not more people starting new relationships, ending relationships, going back to uni, starting uni, travelling the world, throwing in their jobs or changing careers to purse what truly sets their soul on fire. Next time you start to tell yourself you can’t do this, STOP! You can do this!! All it takes is a whole lot of heart, baby steps and curiosity. Curiosity about what would happen if you didn’t quit this time. The one thing that separates success from failure is never quitting. Don’t you dare quit on yourself! An amazing life is waiting for you on the other side of this battle. Never quit guys! I’m so freaking thankful I decided to not quit on myself anymore:) the feeling is something I can’t even describe to you all. I’m freaking proud of myself because this lifestyle change wasn’t easy! Now, because my habits have changed, my new lifestyle is easy but getting here was no easy task. I wouldn’t change one bit of struggle though. That struggle taught me so much about myself. Mostly that I’m one badass lady who is stronger than I ever knew💪🏻 start today and don’t quit until you have what you want🖤 it’s hard work but there is glorious rewards waiting for you on the other side:) get out there and get them for YOURSELF🖤 have a fabulous weekend everyone😘😘 never quit!

Making food swaps like this one can save you some calories while adding extra fiber and vitamins to your diet. Eat one wrap as a snack or two to make it a meal 💕

Ingredients:
1/2 a teeny tiny avocado (Trader Joe’s)
3 oz chicken breast
1/2 cup cherry tomatoes
1 cabbage leaf
1/2 cup spinach
.
Instructions:
Mash avocado then spread on your cabbage leaf. Add all other ingredients. Wrap and enjoy.

Tried out a new place for lunch today (SmashBurger) thanks to a gift card from my work. 😊 I ordered Spicy Baja Burger with no bun, and black bean burger instead of beef.  I was also able to get brussel sprouts as my side instead of fries! Of course my kids made fun of me for eating brussel sprouts with a burger instead of fries...but you gotta ignore the haters on this journey and just do your own thing🤣🤣🤣

I struggled with anxiety, depression, anorexia, binge eating disorder and bulimia for over a decade. My battle was so extreme that every professional told me I was hopeless. Most people in my life gave up on me too. But deep down I never gave up on myself. Through immense internal work I fully recovered. Most importantly I proved to myself that I had worth and value.
