Look love! Perfection is a myriad of people's thoughts and this is not to say that being surrounded by people achieving perfection is bad.



All you need to do is to choose growth over perfection, continuously finding a rhythm that is not false as to steal your joy. •


Know this, perfection is not all about success, it is a sum of your healthy choices, paving your own path, acceptance of failures and most importantly the grace to give yourself time to grow in your space.


You are the most important factor in all that you do. So choose you, listen to you, you are good enough.

Simple in that if you're consistent in putting the effort in to doing something the right way then eventually you'll see the results you want to see 💯

Take the picture above, someone said to me recently "it's easy for you you've always been flexible" ...LIES! The top pic was only 10 months ago, but through weekly mobility and flexibility routines (you're probably sick to death of them 😂) I've seen pretty decent improvements. Not because I'm great at it, I'm defo not, it's been a graft, and still is, but simply because I've been consistent 👍🏻

Likewise, drop the calories and up the activity for 6 months, and you'll lose that 2-3 stone 😁 Put away £200 a month for 3 years and you'll save...hold on 🙄...wait 😖 ...£7,200! 💷💰🙌🏻

There are birthdays, Christmas 🎅, holidays, weddings, break ups, new relationships, fucking Stoke games 😭🍺, weekends, the list goes on... 🤯

Luckily, these are all things that can be accounted for if we're sensible. Eating less for a few days and upping the activity levels a few days before that night out 🥗 + 🏃🏻 = 🍻👍🏻 And obviously take your date for a £5 any main meal before 6pm at Pizza Express instead of the Ivy Roof Garden 💐😎👍🏻

Then getting straight back in to your normal routine the next day 💪🏻

Our own Iveta Parravani has started Diploma Level in therapeutic counselling studies but don’t worry, she’s not leaving us - Iveta will still be providing mental health first aid training too! In case you’re wondering what’s in the picture - all the students were sent and find a piece of nature, then they made a beautiful collage that got printed and will be on their portfolios for the next 2 years reminding about the colours of September 2019 when it all started. Both completely failed by any public health measure, by family, teachers, community, and abandoned and preyed upon by 'friends'...

WHAT MAKES A CITY LIVABLE? 🏡

After coming across typical Hungarian "service" this week (and getting super mad and frustrated, of course) I started wondering, what makes a city livable?

According to the Livability website, the criteria are amenities, demographics, economy, education, healthcare, housing, social and civic capital, transportation and infrastructure.

Millennials named affordability №1 criterion that they rely on when deciding where to live.

Mercer's quality of life survey considers the following criteria: recreation, housing, economic environment, consumer goods availability, public services an transport, political and social environment, natural environment, socio-cultural environment, school and education, medical and health considerations. This year Vienna has been named №1 city in the world to live in for the 10th year in a row!

Considering the fact that I don't like Vienna (no offense to the city, it just doesn't resonate with me), I wonder what really matters to me when choosing a place to live? Even though all the above-mentioned criteria are extremely important, I would put people first and then probably safety second. It is really important for me to be surrounded by good people, people I vibe with, people that can become family to me in this unfamiliar place. When I have a strong support system, I can close my eyes on some minor drawbacks of the city)

Instagram and Facebook posts that advertise quick weight loss “miracles” will now be blocked for users under 18.
This is such a positive step for in promoting healthy minds and healthy bodies in our youth. We are seeing an increase in anxiety disorders in children and adolescents, and these detox tea, lollipop, supplements and cosmetic surgery ads only help to promote an unhealthy attitude towards our bodies. It’s great to see social media companies taking some responsibility and trying to make the interactions on these platforms more positive.
Thanks to Jameela Jamil and the iWeigh team for bringing awareness to the danger of such content.

Super proud and excited to tell you that I’ve been creating some work for @timetochangecampaign ! 😍🎉They were one of my DREAM collaborations. It’s an incredible mental health campaign for tackling stigma, set up by @mindcharity and @rethinkmentalillness 🙌🏼❤️⁣

I really, really, really don’t think this gets talked about enough. Mental health problems cause so many physical symptoms too. Some of them can be incredibly painful. They are very real and just as valid as any other illness. Does this resonate with you? ⁣

Sometimes I’d catch myself sobbing as I mentally planned my teenage child’s funeral.
And if I didn’t take those thoughts captive...they would lead down a dark path playing out every detail of the service to coming home to an empty life....I wonder if it was my momma self-defence preparing me for the worst.💔

Friends, do you remember those new momma moments...you know...the ones in the middle of the night when you’d wake up in sheer panic to run and stare intently at your new babe’s chest....holding your own breath watching for that miniscule rise & fall.
.
It was scary then; but even scarier a few years ago when it is was my teenage child’s chest I was bolting out of bed to run & watch
.
Knowing life was something my depressed child was enduring rather than living was the most excruciating time of parenthood in my 26 momming years… the signs were there, & I would wake up with those same panicky jolts to run to check for that sweet rise & fall, rise & fall, rise & fall...please stay with us .
And I would sit on the floor by that bedside for hours staring & praying & crying … I was utterly exhausted; I was ready to try anything.
.
And I wish I would have known, I truly do...
.
…that the way we were living…
.
...that the “trusted” products we were using…
.
...were slowly causing a poisonous burden to every one of our bodies
.
Research chemical burden on the body! It is directly linked to:
...depression…anxiety…panic attacks…adhd…skin irritations…reproductive toxicity…developmental delays…immune deficiency…infertility...cancers...
.
I didn’t know then, so I can’t judge my younger momma self for that!
BUT, I do know now and I am SO grateful that we were able to SWITCH OUT to healthier products to protect my family 🌿
.
Stress Away with a roll on helped support my emotions on so many of those tough days while we made huge changes
.
♥️Finding amazing solutions to support our health & emotions has been one of our biggest gifts, my child smiles again and loves life!!
👉🏻The stress is away.
👉🏻God is good 🙏🏻
.
For that I will be forever thankful xo
