I've been through a lot in my life. Probably more than most. I spent half my youth in clinics and residential groups or was just busy doing the basic work for my body or putting myself under so much pressure with performance pressure and self-doubt that sometimes I would have preferred to have been dead. I have had to endure a lot of pain in my life. So much that it almost tore me apart. And that's why I said to myself for a long time that I was "spoiled", "too influenced" or "too crazy". I had the feeling that I had to warn every person who gets involved with me about Luisa? Which she doesn't have any more and doesn't trust anybody anymore, is a fun brake and an energy vampire. And yes, there were some who thought the eating disordered girl was funny and who therefore wanted nothing to do with me. People who only want to have people in their lives, who play the Parryclown 24/7 and burst with positivity. But then at some point I met people who like me exactly for my mature, realistic and sometimes too critical way. Because I'm not as naive as maybe others in their twenties. Because I ask philosophical questions and question things that are just like that. These people see that I haven't given up. That I have become so much stronger through the pain and still grow on every pain, because I started asking myself the question, why is this pain coming now? What does he want to say to me? Where do I have to work on it in order to deal better with the situation? And yes, maybe my life isn't always puppies and kittens. Maybe I am sometimes exhausting and pull one or the other down, but I am also motivating and can inspire people to deal with pain. Because honestly everyone feels pain? And those who are apparently always happy, who bury their pain somewhere deep without learning from it. They pretend it is not there. But that is him and sooner or later he will come out after all. And then it really bangs.

"Pill shaming is toxic and it’s time to break down the societal taboo. Having a mental illness is hard enough as it is without the pill shaming stigma that floats among those struggling. There is so much misinformation out there about antidepressants and antipsychotic drugs — being addictive or you being weak for taking them. I think this is inaccurate, and certainly not the case. Exercise or eating healthy and keeping busy are enough for some people, but others need that extra push, that extra bit of help to enable them to live a “normal,” happy life. Which, don’t we all deserve? A life neither ruled by fear or crushed by depression and anxiety. In the same way you’d wear glasses to help you see better, some people take a pill (or six) to give them the assistance they need to help their mind. And that’s OK."

So, hereby I have decided to create a recover account and to be honest with you. But also wants to motivate other people and show them that you can do anything and there are always ups and downs! Here is an update and a little explanation💗☁️

For about 12 years I have had an eating disorder.  Anorexia for 4 years.  At the age of 17 I came to a low point and inevitably had to recover, which was good on the one hand, but also bad. (in the head). For several months I have a relapse, with many ups and downs.  At the moment it is anything but good. 🙄 My body image is awful and I have a hard time seeing food as "good". Of course I eat.  but anorexia is very much against it.  Nevertheless, I give my best and try to respect ME and MY body!  because I want to get well and live! 💪🥰 Even if the depression shows me the middle finger. 😅

Got back on the bike yesterday after a few weeks off. Damn it was challenging and I'm sure today but I loved getting outside and challenging my body. We climed a big hill and the whole time I kept thinking "I can do this. I am strong." It's amazing the power our thoughts have. Feed yourself positive words ❤ you're worth it. Hope everyone's having a great start to a new week. Lots of love 💕💕

When talking about domestic violence its also important never to expose your children to see any kind of aggression because according to the social learning theory in psychology..alot of behaviour is learnt from the environment rather than being innate.

DJ 2.0 (a.k.a Zoye Blacc) @zoyeblacc is a DMV-based music 🎶 curator and enthusiast. Whether on the mic or behind the board, DJ 2.0 is bound to create a moment in the room. Being a musician gives DJ 2.0 an edge for having an ear for a hit. Growing up in a Liberian 🇱🇷 household, with an older brother who DJs as well, exposed DJ 2.0 to very diverse genres of music at a young age. DJ 2.0 has been entertaining audiences for 7 years now in various environments from lounges in the heart of downtown DC, frat parties in college auditoriums to weddings by the waterfront. I have never related to something so much in my life. Every single day I put on a brave face. Most of you only see the smiles and good times that I post but you don’t really see what I go through daily. I was discharged from the Navy with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. There are nights that I fear sleeping because of my night terrors. I do almost anything to stay awake. Eventually I’m too exhausted to keep my eyes open and I just give into exhaustion and go to sleep. Reliving your most traumatic events in life give a whole new meaning to the word “nightmare”. Think of the scariest thing you’ve ever encountered, and relive in over and over, but let your mind inflate it when you sleep and make it 10-20 times worse than what you actually experienced. That’s living with a mental disease and disability that will never go away, that truly has no cure. You can take meds, you can go to therapy, but it never goes away, the wound never heals. You are stuck with this parasitic disease and disability for the rest of your life. #mentalhealthawarness #PTSDawareness #bebrave

The perception of others actually encouraged me to overcome my mental health battle. I was surrounded by believers who prayed and believed for my healing and restoration. I was preached to and reminded of who I was in Christ numerous times. I was pointed to the truth of The Word to combat the lies that were spewing in my mind. With the help of God, Church and medicine (to calm my thoughts), I was able to identify and control my thoughts one at a time which led to healing. #DepthOfMyIdentity

We all experience it. We all have our own ways we react to stress, ways that we feel we can cope. These are our coping mechanisms. You normally don't consciously decide during a gut reaction, tough situation, on you're coping mechanism, it's survival, & depends on many things like.
Your environment
The people around you
Did you feel comfortable?
Will these people be understanding?
We're you heard?
We're your emotions validated?
Have you been taught helpful coping skills?

Some feel a need to go quiet 'can't tell anyone'.
.
Some feel a need to be active 'have to keep busy & say anything, so that people don't guess & I feel more comfortable trying to forget'.
.
Some need a quiet environment 'My senses are so stimulated I feel less anxious in a quiet space'
.
Some need to run 'I have to leave or I'll avoid coming out all together, don't feel comfortable'.
.
Some need hide 'If I don't reply I don't need to make excuses & I don't like making excuses or the thought that someone will ask me, it's scary'.
.
Some need to fight 'I'm anxious & it's making me feel angry & holding it in is making me feel angry, not being honest is too but I don't want people to think I'm weak'.
.
Some feel they are the problem, that anxiety is here because of them, they were born like it, they don't speak to themselves kindly 'they're own unkind inner voice sometimes comes at you too'

You too can be the one who let's yourself get honest, you can write a diary, where you tell the whole truth in it. Let all the emotion out, then tell yourself, 'I am enough'.
