“Stop and smell the flowers mom!”⠀

This is what the kids said to me today as we were walking to my daughter’s tutoring session. At first I thought “wow that is SO cute that they said that”. But then when they both stopped riding their bikes to ACTUALLY smell the flowers, it really made me take a step back and think. ⠀
⠀
It’s so easy to get caught up in our daily routine that we forget to appreciate the little things in life. We focus on the hustle, focus on what’s next, are constantly on the go, constantly moving at rapid speeds. Hey, I’m guilty of this too. ⠀
⠀
So since it’s the start of a new week, as we dive right back into the chaos that is life, let’s all just remember to take a moment, take a deep breath, smell the flowers 🌺 and appreciate life!

SPICY VEGA CURRY🔥 Niet het eerste waar je aan denkt op zo'n warme dag maar het was wel lekker👌 
Handig om de groente restjes op te maken ook!

Whats in it?
▪︎70 gr pandan rijst
▪︎30 gr rode curry pasta
▪︎100 gr kokosmelk light
▪︎80 gr paprika
▪︎50 gr wortel
▪︎50 gr courgette
▪︎100 gr kikkerwten
▪︎50 gr vegetarische balletjes

Rijst koken. Voor de rest alles in een pan, roeren, balletjes er op het einde bij gooien en dan nog een paar minuutjes laten sudderen. Lekker met wat koriander on top, als je daarvan houd😉

The fitness industry seems to be ever changing. But I am grateful that my physical fitness has long been guided by my spiritual fitness. ⠀

My favorite female author, Ellen G. White, who I also believe was inspired by the Lord, wrote in the late 1800’s that we should be eating 2-3 meals a day. That each meal should be 4-5 hours apart to give your body adequate time to digest each meal. She also wrote that meals should not be eaten close to bedtime. (And oh so many other great things...she’d probably have something to say about the modesty of this photo, but that’s not the point of today’s post 😜)⠀

A few years ago everyone in the fitness industry was saying, “keep eating small snacks all throughout the day to keep your metabolism running...”, when I was in high school and college, I struggled with whether to trust an author from the 1800s or modern medicine?⠀

-⠀
Luckily evidence has come around to support 2-3 meals a day versus many small meals. I fully remember when I used to tell people not to snack on ANYTHING besides water between meals...and they thought I was crazy. Nowadays the hot trend is “intermittent fasting”, to allow your digestive organs to have a “break” between meals, to enhance thinking power, and to take care of your gut health. ⠀

And I’m over here pointing to writings from a WOMAN, in the late 1800s, because she knew what was best, well before modernity caught up! ⠀

So, make sure you’re studying, reading, and PRAYING for guidance on your wellness journey! God wants you to live abundantly (in this life and the next!) and if you want to read one of the greatest wellness books of all time, pick up “the Ministry of Healing” by EGW. ⠀

One of my most frequently asked questions is how can I learn to enjoy exercise? I have clients who recognise the benefits of exercise and want to learn to love exercise but just don’t know how. If you can relate to this then carry on reading as I have complied some of my tips on how you can learn to enjoy exercise so that it becomes something you want to do. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🔺Expand your definition of what exercise is. Exercise is more than going on a run or going to the gym. Try out lots of different forms of exercise to figure out what you genuinely enjoy. For example: walking, hiking, dancing, cycling, swimming, joining a netball/football team, yoga. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🔺Test out exercising at different times of day and notice how this may change your enjoyment. Some people prefer exercising in the morning, others at lunchtime or the evening.
🔺Try out different environments. You might prefer to exercise indoors or outdoors. You might prefer to exercise at home or at the gym. You might prefer to exercise alone, with a friend or in a group.
🔺Challenge your fitness beliefs and what classifies as ‘exercise’ or ‘a good workout’. There is no good or bad exercise, simply different ways of moving your body.
🔺Focus on the benefits of exercise beyond aesthetics. The ability for it to reduce your stress levels, improve your mood, increase your energy levels, improve your cognitive function, enhance your confidence to name a few. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Nog 1 keer dan🤪! Honing is geen goede vervanger voor suiker. Ja het is natuurlijk. Nee dat is niet per definitie gezond. Tafelsuiker per 100 gram 380 kcal vs 300kcal voor honing. Het is nu eenmaal vloeibaar en bevat dus water. Een kwart om precies te zijn. De rest blijft suiker. Je weet wel.. dat harde spul als je de honing te lang laat staan. Suiker. Andere vragen? Yes most of the reason people hire a fitness and nutrition coach is to lose weight, but that should definitely not be the entire goal! Helping people make that lifestyle change, and finally understand fully “why” they’re doing it and why it’s so important to make it a lifestyle and not a diet. I’ve been working with one of my clients for a long time and she’s had amazing success on the scale, but when she posted this I knew she finally understood everything and I’ve done my job right, and that is the most rewarding for me ❤️

Altrimenti non si spiegherebbe perché ci sono tante freelance creative, grafiche, social media manager, fotografe, web designer, wedding planner, stylist, consulenti di immagine, copywriter, coach, organizzatrici di eventi, consulenti del benessere, di moda, lifestyle e bellezza che sono bravissime, lavorano troppo, pochi le conoscono, guadagnano poco e non sono soddisfatte.

Di base c’è un inghippo fondamentale: troppe professioniste si focalizzano sul raccontare il dettaglio del loro servizio, come tecnicamente lo erogheranno, i passi che seguiranno, i metodi che useranno senza mettere in evidenza la cosa più importante.

Il problema che risolveranno!

La creazione dell’offerta è lo step numero 1 e senza avere redatto bene questo messaggio - ovvero qual è il problema che risolvi e che risultato puoi fare ottenere - , difficilmente accadono le cose giuste.

Se il messaggio che stai mandando non risuona bene, i clienti non fissano appuntamenti né chiedono preventivi e sai perché? Perché non stai parlando nel modo più adatto per centrare qual è il problema che risolvi e a chi lo puoi risolvere.
Di solito con le mie clienti, dedico una parte molto importante del percorso individuale a calibrare al massimo questo aspetto, perché quando l’offerta è CENTRATA allora le richieste di preventivi arrivano ed arrivano dai clienti GIUSTI per te, quelli che ti gratificano, ti riconoscono e ti remunerano come dovrebbe essere!!! Ricordati sempre una cosa importante.

I’m a HUGE goal setter and have some big dreams that I make a habit to write down daily. But it can get frustrating when those goals seem so far away and the process to achieving is always slower than imagined. This is the point when so many people give up, they stop, they decide it’s no longer worth it and that’s where I’ve been in the past, but I am now choosing to be different. 💙Die Entscheidung💙
Die allgegenwärtige Frage, die uns jeden Morgen aufs Neue zum Verzweifeln bringt - Was ziehe ich heute an? Macht es doch einfacher und fragt euch, wie fühle ich mich heute?? Natürlich sollte euer Gefühl auch mit dem Anlass übereinstimmen, aber darum geht es mir heute nicht. 
Als ich dieses Kleid im Laden gesehen habe, hat es mich sehr fröhlich gemacht. Nein, nicht nur der Kauf, sondern die Farben 🌈😉. Und die Herzen, die so verspielt mit dem Stoff in Bewegung waren. Das tolle Kleid hang dann zuerst eine Weile in meinem Kleiderschrank. 
Warum?? Weil sich da so manchmal ein kleines Teufelchen 👿 auf meiner linken Schulter befindet, das mir dazwischen redet: du bist doch Ü50, kannst ja kein Herzchenkleid mehr tragen, dein Image als Etiketten Tante wird RUINIERT, und was wird sich die Nachbarin denken 🤔........ Ja, auch als Stylistin hat man solche Gedanken 😉... Ich habe das Kleid angezogen und ich sah mich strahlen. In dem Moment vergass ich alles und ging zum nächsten Termin. Und wisst ihr was? Jeder hat mein Strahlen gespürt und ich bekam unendlich viele Komplimente 😃🤸‍♀️💃🏻. Was will uns der Dichter damit sagen? Liebe Ladies, zieht euch für euer HERZ an und ihr werden erstens schneller am Morgen etwas zum Anziehen finden und zweitens ihr werdet damit alle negativen Gedanken dieser Welt überstrahlen. Herzlichst 💙, eure Eli

“If you don’t remember anything else you learn from me, just remember that people would rather move AWAY from their PAIN, instead of move TOWARDS a GOAL/BENEFIT.”⁠

Read that again.⁠

People would rather avoid a pain/struggle than they would like to receive the benefits of your service. That’s how human behavior works. Our decisions are made based on avoiding pain.⁠

So while people really really want what you have, it’s usually not enough to persuade people to invest in your program/service.⁠

What DOES persuade people to invest? To get out of a painful situation. Because who prefers to suffer? (No one.)⁠

More often than not, they have no idea what the pain point is until you tell them. It’s your job to either lay out the facts for them, or wait for them to come to the realization on their own.⁠

And you can say “Oh wait Ashley there’s those people who buy purely based on the BENEFIT, so this isn’t true”. Nope. There is a pain point they are moving away from whether they know it or not.⁠

If a person has an extra $1000 to spend, then they would rather pay a dentist to fix their cavities(PAIN) than to buy braces to have straighter teeth(BENEFIT).⁠

So when you are crafting your marketing content, remember this when you are putting everything together 🙌🏼 ✅

Dreaming big.

Years ago, during very challenging times, I had a vision of how I wanted my life to look. I had no masterplan. Just utter determination to shake up my world. .
How did I do it?

Step 1.

By diving deep to nurture self belief and self love on a daily basis.

Step 2.
.
By refining my vision to a few clear goals that I was resolute in achieving. .
Step 3.
.
By allowing my own inner compass to guide me, and never allowing the tough or unforseen to deter me.

Such amazing things lie on the other side of your resistance to change! Remember that life isn't meant to be a series of safe, predictable steps that take you down a rosy pathway to a place others have been.

It's a unique, big ol' bone shaker of a ride! Full of wonderful twists and turns, highs and lows, lessons on every corner (if your eyes and ears are open..).
.
So don't be afraid to embrace the new. View things from different perspectives. Shake up the tried and tested. Go your own way. .
Life is so much better when you throw yourself into it without apology.
