Practice what you preach

When I’m training clients, I will never teach them or make them do exercises or methods which I don’t follow or understand myself.

All of the exercises and methods that I show and teach clients I utilise myself. Never will I get you doing any bs exercises that look good for insta, but in actual fact don’t do an awful lot.

My training philosophy is simple: master the basic exercises for the best results. If you want good results, be prepared to put in the effort.

Gisteren zelf getraind, voor het opbouwen van de conditie. Voor het hardlopen gebruik ik een interval van 30 seconden versnellen en 1:30 min wandelen (1 van de 3 trainingen). De laatste oefening gebruik ik vanwege de voetbal.
1 Warm lopen 5/6 min (8 tot 12 km/h)
2 Wandelen 1 min (elke keer na de sprint)
3 Sprint van 8 sec (maximale snelheid)
- totaal 8 keer sprint en 8 keer wandelen
4 Balans oefening plus zijwaarts afzetten

Peso muerto unilateral: no solo pones a prueba tu condición física, también tu motricidad, ejercicio muy recomendado para trabajar los isquiotibiales y glúteos.
Importante siempre manejar una correcta postura , ya que involucra tu zona lumbar y puedes lesionar esta zona @energymbucaramanga

I've been so busy I STILL haven't written out a new routine, but I'm 100% adding in glute activation to my leg days from here on out!

Lipesin tänään vahingossa täysin epämukavuusalueelle. Menin ohjatulle tunnille tajuamatta, että siellä tehdään juuri tänään takakyykkyjä!? Ensinnäkin omistan kaksi tikkua (joita jaloiksi kutsutaan) ja toiseksi mikään kropassani ei puolla sitä, että kyykky olisi juttuni (selkäkroonikko vaivasella polvella). Mutta olipa aivan mahtava fiilis saada olla aivan rehellisesti "täysin paska" 😅 Tein oman treenini. Otin vastaan tekniset ohjeet (*ohjaus oli muuten aivan priimaa💎) ja se oli siinä. Ei tarvinnut pystyä sen enempään ja hauskaa kyllä. Olin jopa tyytyväinen suoritukseeni, vaikka tangossa oli lähes lasten painot. Für die nächste Übung brauchst du eine längere Hantel. Auch hier empfehle ich, das Gewicht an deinen Trainingsstand anzupassen.
Im ersten Schritt musst du die Hantel über deinen Kopf heben und auf den Schultern ablegen. Während der Übung hältst du die Stange mit beiden Händen rechts und links neben deinem Kopf fest.
Nun führst du die gewohnten Squats aus und stellst dich dafür in einen hüftbreiten Stand.
Sollte es dir mit der Stange zu schwer sein, kannst du zunächst auch mit normalen Squats starten.
➡️ Schaue dir nun die korrekte Ausführung an, indem einfach nach links swipst!

- 📍This warm up needs to stop! I think we’ve all seen or are victims of it. But, for some odd reason, so many people do it. I have no idea where people learned it from or where it originally came from, but maybe you guys can comment below your guesses as to where it came from.

📌What people are TRYING to achieve or at least, what I think they’re trying to achieve, is to warm up or activate their shoulder, specifically the rotator cuff muscles.
⠀⠀
📌The problem with this exercise is that there is no tension on the rotator cuff. I think we all know how gravity works. But, just to refresh your memory, it acts as a downward force pulling towards the earth. With that being said, the weight is being pulled down. So the only thing that is resisting gravity in this position would be your biceps. The rotator cuff would need a resistance that is acting parallel to the muscle essentially to stimulate a contraction of the rotator cuff.

📌A better way to stimulate the rotator cuff would be to use a resistance band or cable and perform external and or internal rotations, if your goal was to actually warm up your rotator cuff. By doing this, you will have a resistance that is parallel to the rotator cuff muscles.

Drumstick lolly vibes 🍭 on that note I genuinely get 00’s of messages of people concerned regarding sugar. one of my favourite carbs is white bread which has been given a LOT of shit 🥖 people often cut out carbs and see a drop in weight and say “it’s because I’ve been avoiding carbs”... but did you consider... YOU JUST ELIMINATED A WHOLE FOOD GROUP so by default you have more limited food choices and naturally put yourself into a caloric “energy” deficit... (I would not recommend eliminating anything entirely from your diet unless you have a genuine intolerance... your body will go crazy for it the second you try to introduce it back, its a bad experience)
in terms of caloric intake (not nutrient) a calorie IS equal to a calorie because a calorie is SIMPLY a measurement of energy. So if you’re eliminating the breads and pizzas out your diet because you want to loose a few pounds or because you’re worried you’ll gain a tonne of weight... (firstly I’m sure you’re not living your best life)- but here’s the good news; you don’t have too!! You can eat bread and loose weight!🍕 just the same as you can eat plain porridge and gain weight.
Let’s stop attaching morals to food; Christmas is just around the corner (a big corner) and you should understand that over these next few festive months you can choose a route that’ll be sustainable & enjoyable & YOULL STILL MAKE SMASHIN PROGRESS 👏🏼 anyway please remember I have no qualifications in nutrition I’m simply advising off personal experiences and self learning. Have a smashing week🍭🍭🍭🍭
