With winter break coming up I’m starting to miss #Florida and realized I never posted this! @meatandbarbayharbor - it’s a #kosher restaurant in #miamibeach - #surfside #balharbour - you get it - it’s got a great ambiance , it’s removed from Harding and 41, so you feel like you’re someplace nice already .... and the food is great! They’ve got some creative things on the menu like yellow tail jalapeño #tartar - it was refreshing and simple - my mom got liver tapenade with jam, but I couldn’t bring myself to post that - she said it was great - got me a #lambburger - was spiced great and bun was toasted perfectly and, hey the presentation looked cool. Repost from @yeahthatskosher using @RepostRegramApp - Sunday night at @KosherCulinaryCenter in #Brooklyn... WOW, what an experience!! Chef Avram invited me in to see for myself what sort of events they’re hosting at their facility on Flatbush Ave, and boy am I glad I finally went.
Our 4-hour “Steak Night” was educational, hands-on, and delicious. We learned about breaking down the kosher parts of a steer (cow), laughed, ate delicious food that we had a hand in making ourselves, and walked away with a great experience and quite full!

What you see here are me cutting a chunk of steak (entrecôte) off the animal, a tower of onion rings that I made myself with @thegemtherapist (and they were delicious!), a potion of Potatoes Anna which I’ve never tried before, the various steaks we were prepping in different ways, Chef Avram teaching us about the different parts of the steer, and the KCC team preparing our delicious dessert.
Overall, we had a really fun night, one that I believe would be enjoyed by both foodies and non-foodies alike. Great birthday experience for a couple or a group of friends.

●水 600cc
●白だし 大さじ3
●料理酒 大さじ3
●みりん 大さじ3
●砂糖 大さじ3
●醤油こうじ 大さじ6

【作り方】
①ボウルに昆布、たっぷりの水(分量外)を入れて10分置く。ザルにあげて水気を切り、長い場合はハサミで食べやすい長さに切る。
②人参は細切り、さつま揚げは薄切りにする。
③フライパンにごま油を入れて中火で温め、人参とさつま揚げを油が全体に絡むまで炒める。
④●の材料を加えて一煮立ちしたら昆布を加える。再び煮たったら弱火にして落とし蓋をし10〜15分、煮汁が少なくなるまで煮る。

Nuestras madres, siempre tenían un desayuno caliente listo para nosotros en la mañana, y cocinaba los alimentos más gourmet de Shabat y Yom Tov. Esta receta es un gran éxito! ¡Ve el vídeo!

Preferencia: lácteos
Dificultad: fácil
Ocasión: Shavuot, nueve días
Dieta: Vegetariana, Pescetariana
Cocina: Italiana

Ingredientes:
Salsa:
 2 cucharadas de mantequilla
1 cebolla cortada en cubitos
1 paquete de champiñones, en rodajas
3 tazas de crema espesa
1 taza de queso mozzarella
sal al gusto
Pimienta al gusto

Relleno:
 1 bolsa de brócoli congelado, cocido
1 500 Gr de queso ricotta
1/2 taza de queso mozzarella  1 caja de fideos de lasaña, cocidos según las instrucciones de la caja

Prepare la salsa y el relleno:
Derrita la mantequilla en una cacerola. Saltee las cebollas y los champiñones en mantequilla hasta que estén flojos. Agregue la crema espesa y hierva. Agregue queso y condimento y mezcle. Retírelo del calor.
Cocine el brócoli, escurra y haga puré con una batidora de mano hasta que esté suave. Mezclar con el queso.

Montar y hornear:
Precaliente el horno a 180 ° C
Vierte un poco de la salsa de crema de champiñones en un molde para hornear de 23 x 33 cm. Agregue una capa de fideos de lasaña. Extender sobre una capa de mezcla de brócoli. Vierta un poco más de salsa de crema. Repita hasta que los fideos estén listos, terminando con la salsa de crema.
Hornee cubierto por 45 minutos.

Sunday night at @KosherCulinaryCenter in #Brooklyn... WOW, what an experience!! Chef Avram invited me in to see for myself what sort of events they’re hosting at their facility on Flatbush Ave, and boy am I glad I finally went.
Our 4-hour “Steak Night” was educational, hands-on, and delicious. We learned about breaking down the kosher parts of a steer (cow), laughed, ate delicious food that we had a hand in making ourselves, and walked away with a great experience and quite full!

What you see here are me cutting a chunk of steak (entrecôte) off the animal, a tower of onion rings that I made myself with @thegemtherapist (and they were delicious!), a portion of Potatoes Anna which I’ve never tried before, the various steaks we were prepping in different ways, Chef Avram teaching us about the different parts of the steer, and the KCC team preparing our delicious dessert.
Overall, we had a really fun night, one that I believe would be enjoyed by both foodies and non-foodies alike. Great birthday experience for a couple or a group of friends.

This pogrom against Jews and Jewish establishments was corroborated by the Nazi party that encouraged civilians (some of them drunk and extremely violent) to take part in these hateful acts. The words ‘JUDE’ (Jew in German) and the symbol of the star of David that Jews had to paint on their store fronts, synagogues, and other Jewish establishments helped direct the violent mob to vandalize them.

The name (“Crystal Night”) comes from the shards of broken glass that littered the streets after the windows of Jewish owned stores were smashed. Almost all of the synagogues in Germany were destroyed and burned.

Over 30,000 Jews were arrested that night and sent to concentration camps. Hundreds of Jews died that very night.

Meat stuffed challah is a glorious wonderful licious thing. Delicious meal efficiency perfect for when you have negative time to make Friday night dinner. But there are some important tips on how to prepare this eighth world wonder. For example, don’t use more than 1 pound of meat per challah...or be sure your meat is fully cooked before stuffing. Today we made 40 Clove of Garlic challah on my instastory! We even made a mock roasted crust with balsamic vinegar and garlic salt. And yes, we used 40 actual cloves of garlic because my challahs never make promises they can’t keep.

INGREDIENTS:

1 pkg. yeast (I use Fleischmann’s Active Dry 1/4 oz pkg—make sure it’s not rapid rise)
1 Cup warm water
1 and 1/2 teaspoons sugar
3 Cups bread flour (I use King Arthur’s unbleached bread flour)
1/4 Cup sugar
1 and 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 egg
2 teaspoons oil (I use canola oil)
Glaze:
1 egg
1 teaspoon water
.
INSTRUCTIONS:
.
Before you begin, make sure to have a food processor on hand. Line an insulated cookie with parchment paper.
Place yeast in warm water with 1 and 1/2 teaspoons sugar, and allow to proof (to bubble up a bit so you know that the yeast are alive) 5 to 10 minutes.
.
Place flour, 1/4 Cup sugar and salt in a food processor and pulse a few times to mix.Beat egg and oil in a small bowl, then add to water/yeast mixture. Start food processor. Pour in liquids. Combine for about 15 seconds. It should be well combined.When all combined, process for another 40 seconds. Dough will be more sticky than when you knead by hand.

Remove from food processor, place on a pastry or cutting board sprinkled with flour, knead just a few times, adding a little more flour if necessary to prevent sticking.
Place in bowl which has been lightly greased with oil and allow dough to rise until doubled in bulk. This usually takes a couple of hours. Make sure to cover the dough and leave it in a warm place to rise.

Punch down and shape into a 3-stranded braid on an insulated cookie sheet which has been lined with parchment paper. (Insulated cookie sheet will prevent burnt bottom of bread and parchment paper will prevent sticking). Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

I really love making these mushrooms, they are so simple to make and taste amazing.
With this recipe it's 4-5 Ingredients and 15 minutes later you have yourself a star side dish. It's the simple things that matter. Right?!?! Ingredients:
25/30 Mushrooms
1 1/2 tsp Salt Salt
5-6 sprigs Thyme
1 - 1 1/2 tsp Truffle oil
1 1/2 tbsp Olive oil Olive oil
6-7 cloves garlic
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350F.
2. Wash the mushrooms in cold water to remove any dirt, place all ingredients in a large bowl and mix to combine.
3. Place the mushrooms on a sheet pan and bake for 15 minutes.

There you have it, the star side dish.

The first time I ever had Moroccan fish was right after I got married. I come from a pretty traditional Hungarian background home and the only fish my mom would make for Shabbos was cooked salmon (water, sugar, onions spices.) My mother in law; who is Moroccan, has Moroccan fish as a weekly dish on her Shabbos menu. Being used to traditional cooked salmon, I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious and tasty Moroccan salmon was! I knew I’d have to try to recreate it in my own kitchen. *

Classic Moroccan Fish
@the.seasoned.palate *

5 slices salmon filet

1 can chic peas, rinsed and drained

1 small tomato, thinly sliced
4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced

1/2 cup olive oil

3 tablespoons paprika

1 tablespoon salt

1/2 teaspoon cumin

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Fresh dill, checked and cleaned

In a medium sized bowl combine the oil, paprika, salt, cumin, black pepper and cayenne pepper. Add the salmon and marinate for twenty minutes. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place the salmon in an oven to table dish and pour the oil mixture over it. Add the chic peas, tomatoes, garlic and dill to the dish. Cover and bake for thirty five minutes.
