When I bought this shirt in March, I was down about 15 lbs with the help of weight watchers and really nasty food poisoning (yes I counted the weight I lost with that because I was taking all I could get). I fell way off the bandwagon shortly after and gained about half of that back. I decided I needed to try something different. Today I’ve been doing mostly clean keto for 1 whole month and I’ve lost 16 lbs in addition to the 8 lb weight loss I was able to maintain over the last few months and dropped a pant size. I can tell a huge difference in the way this shirt fits and I feel like I can honestly see a huge difference too. These shorts wouldn’t come close to buttoning 3 weeks ago. After years of struggling with my weight I’m finally seeing results and feeling so much better. Pretty darn excited to see what I am able to accomplish with this way of eating! #keto #intermittentfasting #ketoweightloss #transformation

Bagel Mix
6 ounces (1 1/2 cups) shredded mozzarella cheese
4 ounces (1 cup) blanched almond flour
1 ounce (2 tablespoons) cream cheese
1 large egg
1/2 tablespoon olive oil
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

Seasoning Mix (Or Use Seasoning Of Choice):
1 tablespoon dried dry minced onion
2 teaspoons poppy seeds
2 teaspoons white sesame seeds
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt

►Instructions
:
1 - Preheat the oven to 375 F. Prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a nonstick silicone baking mat.
2 - In a small bowl, add all seasoning mix ingredients and stir until well-mixed.
3 - In a large heatproof bowl, add almond flour, about two-thirds of the seasoning mix, and baking powder. Whisk until well-mixed.
4 - Add mozzarella cheese and cream cheese to the same bowl. Microwave for 45 seconds, stir, and microwave for another 45 seconds or until the cheese is melted. Stir until the mixture forms a smooth dough.
5 - Add the egg to the same bowl, working it in until absorbed and well-mixed. If easier, use your hands to knead once the dough is cool enough to handle.
6 - Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a log about 6 inches long, and attach the ends to form a bagel shape. Place the bagels at least 1 inch apart on the prepared lined baking sheet.
7 - Brush olive oil across the tops. Take the remaining seasoning mix and sprinkle on top, using as much or as little as desired.
8 - Bake at 375 F until golden brown on top, about 20 minutes. Since ovens vary, start monitoring at 15 minutes.

RECIPE! Coffee Crumb Cake ☕️ keto | low sugar | paleo | gluten free | dairy free .

The crumbs on top are the best part 👌🏼 . 1g sugar, 10g fat, 7g net carbs per slice. Did you know coffee cakes got their name not because they contain coffee but because they’re flavors are designed to pair perfectly with your cup of joe ☕️. .

CAKE INGREDIENTS ▪️
¼ cup coconut flour
⅔ cup almond flour
1 tsp baking powder
¼ cup monk fruit sweetener
2 tsp cinnamon
¼ cup melted coconut oil
¼ cup non-dairy milk
4 eggs

CRUMB INGREDIENTS ▪️
¼ cup plus 2 tbsp coconut flour
¼ cup plus 2 tbsp almond flour
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tbsp coconut oil melted
2 tbsp cashew butter (can sub with another nut butter)

INSTRUCTIONS ▪️
Cake Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In medium size bowl, whisk together coconut flour, almond flour, baking powder, monk fruit and cinnamon.
In separate small bowl, mix together rest of ingredients.
Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and whisk until a smooth batter is formed.
Pour in greased baking loaf pan, and set aside on counter while preparing crumb.

Crumb Instructions:
In small bowl, mix together coconut flour, almond flour, and cinnamon.
Once combined, add in coconut oil and cashew butter and combine with a rubber spatula(this will be very dry, so using your hands to combine could help too!).

ASSEMBLE▪️
Break up crumb mixture and crumble over the entire top of the prepared batter in loaf pan.
Bake for 45-60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Let cool for 20 minutes before serving. Enjoy!

As I approach 19 months into my journey, as shown above, I have lost... but I’ve gained so much more.⁣
Gained self-happiness.⁣
Gained self-love.⁣
Gained learning to accept someone else’s love for me.⁣
Gained self-care to eat for nourishment & adapt an active lifestyle to keep my muscles & heart in check. ⁣
Gained patience for myself & realizing results may not be instantaneous and that’s okay — because no matter my pace, forward is forward.⁣
Gained understanding and realizing if I fall off track, I can get back ON track and that although I may fall down 7 times, I WILL get back up 8.⁣
Gained kindness for myself and realizing that there’s no reason to tear myself down for a little bump on the very long road that is my life long journey.⁣
The little bump does not define my journey.⁣
I define my journey.⁣
I am in control of what I do and of my actions. ⁣
And because of that, I am here today. 💛⁣

Additional info: My journey began in October 2016. My highest recorded weight was 227 pounds. I am currently maintaining around 140 pounds, sometimes a little less, sometimes a little more (140 being my goal and I have maintained it since hitting it approx. 6 months ago) -⁣
