Homemade granola anyone?🙋🏻‍♀️ This makes the house smell so good. And great if you have kids. A lot of granolas I can’t have because I’m allergic to certain nuts. Making my own is even better and u can just swap out or avoid ingredients.

Recipe:
*2c rolled oats
*3tbsp crunchy almond butter
*1tbsp coconut oil
*45mL real maple syrup
*1/2tsp kosher salt
*1tbsp cinnamon
*1tsp vanilla

Preheat oven to 325degrees. mix all ingredients together. Spread out on a baking sheet pan lined with parchment paper. Use another sheet of parchment paper to lay on top and PRESS down hard pressing all the granola together and spreading out evenly on the pan. Bake on center rack for 20 mins. Use a spatula to gently slide under and break up the granola (into chunks!). Bake for additional 10 mins, checking not to burn. Let cool. Store in an airtight container or a ziplock bag in the fridge to keep crunchy.

Use another sheet of parchment paper to lay on top and PRESS down hard pressing all the granola together and spreading out evenly on the pan.  Bake on center rack for 20 mins.  Use a spatula to gently slide under and break up the granola (into chunks!). Bake for additional 10 mins, checking not to burn.  Let cool. Store in an airtight container or a ziplock bag in the fridge to keep crunchy.

Being pregnant is wonderful and it has encouraged me more and more to strip-back my recipes and the meals I cook. I’ve always liked to cook from scratch and over the last few months, I’ve been batch-cooking often to save time and to ensure that I always have wholesome food & treats ready to go when hunger strikes (which at the moment seems to be never-ending!)

I LOVE granola, I could eat it all day and this particular recipe is so quick and simple and it’s loaded with nourishing, slow-release goodness. It’s also vegan, gluten & dairy-free!!!

Recipe: 3 x cups of GF granola, 1 x cup of chopped cashews & almonds, 1 x cup of mixed seeds, 1 x cup of raisins, half a cup each of olive oil & coconut nectar, 1/2 a tsp of cinnamon, a pinch of salt

Method: preheat oven to 180. Mix all ingreds (except raisins) in the oil & nectar until evenly-coated, spread mix over a large, lines baking tray and bake for 10 minutes, give mix a shuffle and bake for a further 10 mins. Allow to cool and add raisins

Today we hosted our first big brunch and here are a few snippets of what was on display. At first, the idea of receiving 15+ people was a bit intimidating, but if you plan-ahead and rely on some crowd-pleasers, you will be assured that everything will run smoothly and that there will be nothing left at the end! Aquí les dejo una nueva receta de granola, super facilita ,natural y deliciosa para que se animen a prepararla. #recetasnatyarbelaezs

Ingredientes
• 4 tazas de avena en hojuelas ( busquen el del grano bien entero)
• ½ taza de aceite de coco
• ½ taza de maple syrup/ miel de abejas/ Miel de agave
• ½ cdita de sal marina
• 1 cdita de canela en polvo
• Opcional: pueden agregarle ralladura de naranja al gusto.
👩‍🍳mezclan todos los ingredientes super bien.
• Agregamos nueces, semillas, coco rallado, semillas de chia…pueden agregarle lo que mas les guste. 🤩
👩‍🍳Yo la puse en el airfryer a 360 grados F por 12 min y cada 5min movia la granola para evitar que se queme por encima.
💡Tip: sacan la granola cuando ya la vean dorada; no importa que no la sientan crocante, cuando ella se enfria ya queda super crocante deliciosa. 🙌
💡Cuando ya este lista agregan fruta deshidrata; yo en este caso agregué solo arandanos deshidratados y ojo siempre se deben agregar después de hornear nuestra granola ☝️. Me cuentan si la hacen ☺️🙌

SECRET INGREDIENT LOW KCAL GRANOLA! 🍫

I am yet to meet someone who does not like granola 😆 but we all know it can be a little hefty on the calories! Not that that’s a bad thing - but it does lead to smaller Servings than we all secretly desire! 👅

This recipe uses no oil, very little sweeteners, egg whites & a secret low calorie ingredient that helps keep all the crunch and flavour, without loads of unnecessary calories! It certainly does the trick - it tastes divine and is surprisingly easy (and cheap) to make! 🙌🏼
All the ingredients used here can be subbed for gluten-free alternatives if necessary 👍🏼 If you don’t like (or are allergic to peanuts) you can skip the addition of the peanut butter.

PEANUT BUTTER & CHOC CHIP:
- 1 cup old fashioned oats
- 2 cups puffed rice cereal
- 2 egg whites
- 1 tsp sweet cinnamon (optional)
- 1 tbsp vanilla
- 1 tbsp smooth peanut butter (the creamier the better!)
- 1 tbsp of maple syrup or honey (optional but adds to sweetness)
- handful of chocolate chips

METHOD 👩🏽‍🍳:
1. Pre heat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius
2. In a bowl, whisk the egg whites until they are slightly bubbly. Add the peanut butter & vanilla and whisk a little more.
3. Mix together the oats, rice cereal and cinnamon and combine with the egg white mixture.
4. Once the the granola is evenly coated, spread into an even layer onto a non stick baking tray. At this stage, we don’t want to break up the granola as we want yummy clusters to form.
5. Bake for 20 minutes and then remove from the oven. Leave to cool for a few minutes and then start to break up the flat later of granola, making sure you leave some of the clusters stuck together. It will still feel slightly moist at this stage so don’t worry! Carefully toss the granola (the same way you would when cooking chips!) and then pop it back into the Oven.
6. Bake for a further 8-10 minutes until golden brown and crisp.
7. Remove the granola from the oven and sprinkle over the chocolate chips. You must now leave to cool as the heat from the granola will partially melt the chocolate chips (which we want so that they stick to the clusters).
8. Once cooled, transfer into a sealed container & enjoy!💜

Hi 👋! I took a little break from Instagram today, that's why I haven't been replying any of the comments under my last post. I haven't been feeling great lately, mostly mentally and emotionally and I just needed to slow down a little. I still enjoy being here, this account is my hobby and well, my job 😊🤣, but we all need a vacay from time to time, right? I just feel a little overwhelmed and I need to find some balance again. I am not sure how, but I am sure I will figure something out 😊. It's so easy to lose yourself when you try to be 100% there for your child, you know 🤷🏼‍♀️🙈. So, if you hear less from me for a few days, please bear with me, I am just trying to sort some things out 😊.

These breakfast parfaits are made of layers of vanilla chia pudding, rose petals jam, coconut yogurt made pink with some pitaya powder, granola and raspberries ❤😊. To get the perfect chia pudding, I usually work with a 1:4 ratio so, here I used 3 tbsp chia seeds and 12 tbsp milk (180 ml). I added some maple syrup and vanilla extract and I let everything in the fridge until the next day 😉.

2EL Kokosöl (oder neutrales Speiseöl)

Alle trockenen Zutaten miteinander in einer Schüssel vermischen. Honig und Öl in die Schüssel geben und alles gründlich miteinander vermischen. Das Granola auf einem mit Backpapier ausgelegten Backblech verteilen und bei 150 Grad für ca 30min rösten.
Luftdicht in einem Glas verschlossen hält sich das Müsli 1-2 Wochen.

HOMEMADE SIMPLE GRANOLA 🌾

One of my absolute favorite toppings for smoothie bowls is without any doubts - granola. It’s also delish just with some chilled plant milk!
But as you guys know I’m not a fan of sugar or oil, so I prefer making my own granola. This is also super cheap and you can choose your own ingredients. Use flakes (oats, spelt, barley) as a base and then you can mix in whatever you feel like. I find nuts, seeds or dried fruits awesome in granola, so I almost always use those.

To help everything stick together and to add some sweetness, you can use any syrup. For those who want it super healthy, you can also blend some dates with water together and use this instead date syrup.

You can store the granola for days, if not even weeks, just make sure to use a container that you can close well.
Sorry about the little bug in the end, there’s supposed to be a clip saying that you should bake them until crunchy and golden. In this case I’m allowed to make Instagram responsible as the video is fine on my device haha.
