Firmly standing behind breakfast being the most delicious meal of the day (except for dessert)

I haven’t had this in a while and was feeling a carb heavy breakfast this morning so protein oatmeal with 3/4 scoop chocolate protein, 2 tbsp pb2 and 1/2 banana. I wish I topped it with a sprinkle of cinnamon butttt we can’t have it all, all the time 🤷🏽‍♀️

My take on teriyaki tofu balls by @woo.heng @bestofvegan My one-year-old daughter loved the balls. These balls are even good as snacks by themselves

I made some changes to the recipe
I didn’t have broccoli so instead of adding chopped broccoli stems to the balls I added finely chopped cabbage.

Instead of blanched broccoli on the side, I had backed cauliflower and sauteed mushrooms

I am not a big fan of sweet sauces, so I made some changes to the sauce. I did not add brown sugar, along with all the other ingredients, I also added chili garlic paste and black bean paste. Mirin gave it slight sweetness, so it was mostly spicy and sweet sauce. I also let the tofu balls simmer in the sauce for 10 min.

these beauties are @rachaelsgoodeats cookie skillet individuals just slightly adapted. recipe below! (makes about 18 cookies)
ingredients:
•2 eggs
•6 tablespoons maple syrup (honey works too)
•1/2 cup coconut oil, melted
•2/3 cup almond butter (@justins is best because it’s thicker/less oily than others) •2 teaspoons vanilla extract
•1.5 tablespoons almond milk
•3 cups almond flour •1/2 teaspoon baking soda •1.5 teaspoon cinnamon •dark chocolate chips (I usually break up a @theochocolate coconut 75% dark chocolate bar, but use whatever!) —
instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 325F
2. Whisk first 6 ingredients together until almond butter is one with the other wet ingredients
3. Add baking soda, cinnamon, and flour (one cup at a time mixing in between)
4. Fold in chocolate chips and scoop handfuls of dough into baking sheet lined with parchment/wax paper (it should be a pretty oily/wet dough)
5. Bake for 12 minutes at 325 then change to broil at 400 and WATCH THEM (or else they will burn fast) and take out when you start to see the tops barely brown.
6. DEVOUR

Składniki:
batat,

garść sezamu,
2 łyżki oliwy,

Sos:
4 łyżki pasty tahini,
pół szklanki jogurtu roślinnego

Przygotowanie:
1. Warzywa umyj, obierz i pokrój.
2. Rozgrzej piekarnik do 200 stopni z termoobiegiem.
3. Wymieszaj oliwę z sezamem i mocz w niej kawałki warzyw. Wyłóż na blaszkę i piecz około 25 minut.
4. Wymieszaj składniki na sos. Podawaj z pieczonymi warzywami.

Dzięki dodatkowi sezamu i tahini danie jest bogatsze w żelazo 💪

1/2 teaspoon chopped garlic
1 teaspoon chopped ginger
1 packet stevia
1 Tbs soy sauce
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cover a baking sheet with aluminum foil and coat with a non-stick cooking spray. Lay salmon atop the foil and spread the garlic and ginger over the salmon. Brush with stevia and cover with soy sauce. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes. Can also be grilled.

Idag blev det de grillade quornfiléerna med en sallad gjord på babyspenat, romansallad, tomat, gurka, paprika, rödlök och avokado. Citron och lättyoghurt på. Till det drack jag mangovatten 👌

Hidup untuk Makan, atau Makan untuk Hidup?

Persepsi tiap orang mengenai 2 hal itu beda-beda. Ada yang bilang hidup itu untuk makan! Ini biasanya yang YOLO bilang “Ngapain diet, hidup cuman sekali dienakin aja.” atau ada yang dengan rendah hati bilang Makan untuk Hidup, “Yang penting masih bisa makan udah cukup.”
Pernah kepikiran ga sih kalau semuanya bakal lebih baik kalau dijadiin secara balance selama kita punya healthy relationship with foods.

Well, dulu aku punya hubungan buruk banget sama makanan. Karena lagi diet makanan yang berlemak manis itu dihindari, mau makan nasi putih aja takut. Hasilnya hubungan sama makanan nggak baik dan psikologisku nggak sehat banget.
.
Beda setelah aku banyak belajar tentang bahan makanan, aku tau mana yang bagus dan yang buruk buat tubuhku, kandungan nutrisinya, aku berusaha mengisi tubuhku dengan makanan yang sehat, hubunganku dengan makanan jadi berubah lebih baik jauh. Di saat itu, mau cheat mealpun aku nggak takut lagi karena aku paham apa yang aku makan.

Nggak melulu soal makan sehat aja yang baik untuk tubuh, tapi menurut aku pribadi psikologis juga penting, tapi semua dasarnya adalah hubungan kamu dengan makanan. Kamu bukan makan banyak karena kamu kesal, kamu bukan makan karena kamu takut gendut, kamu makan karena itu bernutrisi dan membuat kamu happy.

Walau aku bener2 encourage kalian untuk jalananin makan healthy food, tapi aku juga sesekali makan diluar. Tapi keadaan beda banget saat aku dulu ga jaga makan, makan seaadanya, aku jadi ga semangat, jadi ga happy, rambut & kulit juga ga bagus. Sekarang aku berusaha tetap jalanin pola makan sehat, tapi aku bener2 dengerin tubuhku, apa yang aku mau, kapan aku stop kapan aku boleh kendor. Beneran terjadi lho reaksi tubuh saat mulai makan ga dijaga, muka mulai jerawatan, artinya udah harus back to track.

Jadi Hidup untuk Makan atau Makan untuk Hidup? Why not both? Sesekali cheat meal all you can eat? Why not, toh biasanya kita udah berusaha jaga makan, malah makanan itu jadinya kerasa enak banget kaya aku cobain Dimsum di Chiao Tung Resto @mercurejakartakota puas banget sama bakpao2an dan gorengannya setelah lama ga makan kaya gini😤

This Instant Pot Pot Roast recipe is an easy, comforting dinner that comes together so quickly in the pressure cooker! With tender veggies (not mushy!), a fall apart tender roast and seasoned gravy.

INGREDIENTS:
2 teaspoons seasoning salt (I use Lawry's)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
3 lb beef chuck roast Or another, cut in half
1 tablespoon canola oil
1 cup low sodium beef broth
1 tablespoon tomato paste
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1.5 lb Little Potatoes
3 large carrots peeled and cut into thick slices

Vegan CARROT CAKE Balls😍TAG someone who should do this for YOU!🌱

👉 Here is a easy go to VEGAN DESSERT IDEA, if you're wanting to have a carrot cake inspired snack without having to bake one! Make sure to DOUBLE TAP this POST, if you like it! 😉🌱

➡️ FULL INGREDIENTS LIST:
1-2 medium carrots, peeled and chopped
1/2 cup almond butter
1/2 cup pure maple syrup
2 cups flaked coconut shreds
2 cups old fashioned oats
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon cinnamon
white chocolate chips (optional)
Roll the finished balls in 30g coconut sugar or any other sugar alternative mixed with cinnamon! ➖
➡️ HOW TO:
Add carrot chunks to the bowl of a food processor and pulse until finely chopped. (You should have a generous 1/2 cup.)
Remove carrots and set aside. Add oats and coconut shreds. Blend until coarsely ground.
Add all other ingredients, including the chopped carrots. Pulse until a smooth-ish, sticky “dough” forms. (You might have to push it down with a spatula a few times to help it along.)
Add white chocolate chips if you like to and blend until chopped. Roll into BALLS and there you have it! You can store them in the fridge! Just ENJOY! 🙌🌱 ➖
