Oily Hack:

Put epsom salt in your empty bottles and put bottles and caps in a container with more epsom salt to helps soak up some of the last oil out of the bottles.
When you take a bath put some of the epsom salt and some or one of the bottles and caps in your bath.
This will give you a nice oil infused bath.
You can take the bottles and caps out of the bath once you get the epsom salt out of them.

Commissioned by @faithfultonature and currently situated at the @vandawaterfront, it’s made from wire and plastic and highlights the impact of plastic waste on marine life. 
It’s interactive in that the public are invited to throw plastic waste into the fish’s mouth, filling its belly while highlighting how much of our plastic waste ends up in the bellies of marine life. 
Please go meet A Fish Named Faithful which will be at the @vandawaterfront until Wednesday 31 July (and will then be moved to a new location).

I remember when I started my postpartum health and fitness journey, I couldn't do one plank even from my knees. I had ZERO core strength and even though I had worked out consistently during my pregnancy, I felt like I had lost all my strength in the six weeks postpartum.

I could have given up there, before I even got started. But I was determined to get my strength back.

Despite the sleepless nights, stress of being a new Mom and just plain not feeling like it, I showed up. I modified where I had to, but each week I pushed a little harder.

Here I am 11 months postpartum and I am very close to being in the best shape of my life!

It didn't happen overnight, it didn't happen because I decided to do it, it happened because

I said YES to myself, every single day!
I showed up.
I stayed consistent.
I didn't quit. .

If you're feeling extra saucy, you can even add a splash of gluten free vodka. It won't help your hydration, but it will spice up your Saturday. 🥂

Do you ever get to the end of an awesome week of progress with your diet, only to go off the rails after seeing results? When things are going well for you, do you notice yourself second guessing it and subsequently making big mistakes? The good news is, you’re not alone! Self-sabotage is a huge part of the human psyche, and is essential to understand if you want to be successful in making changes in your life. One theory that explains this behavior is called the “Upper Limit Theory”, made famous by Gay Hendricks in his book called ‘The Big Leap.’

THE THEORY📚
The Upper Limit Theory (put into more general terms), says that we all have internal thermometers that measure how much success/love/happiness we feel like we are deserving of experiencing. When we feel like we are succeeding our internal thermometer (aka your life is going bombbb), we subconsciously sabotage ourselves to get back to a more familiar place where we feel in control. . 
WHAT TO DO?❓
Does the Upper Limit Theory sound like something you have problems with? Good news, it’s totally possible to make changes over time to stop self sabotage. The first step is to identifying self sabotaging behavior. Write it down, journal it, get to the root cause of when you feel these thoughts coming on and try and find the trigger. Did you get a new really awesome job? Did you meet a new S.O? Remember; you DESERVE to feel happy, you are worthy of being content with what you have worked so hard for. Lastly, tell someone you trust about you sabotaging behavior to help hold you accountable. What it looks like when you don't quit. Consistency and commitment are key 🗝. You can have all the dreams, all the goals and all the ideas in the world but until you lock down the ideas of consistency and commitment needed in order to fully execute them, they don't mean a thing. 
Stop getting distracted, deterred and defeated and get it done sis. Let's go bro. Whatever it is see it through. Simple.

HALLOUMI, SWEETCORN & SPRING ONION FRITTERS 👌. I can't get over how tasty these flour-free fritters are, especially topped with more halloumi and @theforagingfox coconut, chilli & lime mayo [gifted] 😍🤤. These would also be delicious topped with a poached egg or crispy bacon (or both 😋).

Recipe (serves 1):
🌽 Grate 30g halloumi then mix with 40g sweetcorn, 1 chopped spring onion, 1 large egg, 1/2 tsp smoked paprika and a pinch of salt.
🧀 Heat a pan with a little oil/frylight and add the mixture, using around 1 tbsp batter per fritter.
🌽 Cook on each side for 2-3 mins or until golden & crispy.
🧀 Serve & enjoy.

Sheet Pan Jackfruit Nachos is on the menu tonight 👆🏼 I love nachos for so many reasons (I mean, who doesn't?) but one of them is how easy they are to make. This batch was easier than ever because I used my new Ninja Foodi Digital Air Fry Oven that I was recently gifted. It does ev-ery-thing: fries, roasts, broils, bakes, toasts and dehydrates...plus the time to pre-heat is only 60 seconds 🙌🏼

Happy Friday! For how much I love a good fry, can’t believe this my first Fryday! These fries were absolutely insane 🤤, super crispy and only three ingredients! 
Eeeats:
1. Cut potatoes into wedges then rinse and soak in salted water until water is clear to remove excess starch
2. Pat dry the wedges to remove any excess water then toss in 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil with sea salt
3. Evenly place wedges in the air fryer asker  at 450 for 10 minutes then give them a shake to ensure all fries are being cooked consistently
4. Repeat giving them a shake and/or dumping into a clean bowl then adding back to the air fry basket every 5-10 minutes as needed until desired fry crisp is achieved - I cooked them for 35 minutes
5. Finish off with sea salt flakes and dip them in your preferred sauce - today mine was a chipotle mayo 
Hope you enjoy these super delicious fries as much as our family did with lunch today!
