🔘 3 tbsp apple sauce 🔘 1/4 cup maple syrup 🔘 1 1/2 all purpose flour or buckwheat flour for gf
🔘 2 tbsp baking powder 🔘 1 block of dark chocolate
🔘 1/2 cup cocoa powder - we recommend dutch pressed
🔘 sprinkle salt
🔘 1 1/2 tsp
🔘 1/4 cup coconut oil
🔘 30g @tonysfeirsdesignerphysique organic pure hemp protein

Pre heat oven at 375F. Mix all dry ingredients in a seperate bowl. Mix wet ingredients and make sure to melt the coconut oil before adding. Mix the wet and dry ingredients together and place batter in a muffin tin. Top with chopped up chocolate, place in the oven and bake for 20 minutes. Let cool before removing from the tin 🧁

Gym done for the day. I go 3x a week. Do I always want to go? Ahh no. Sometime l think ‘okay just go  and do legs and 20 minutes of cardio’. But once I am there I do the full weight workout. I learnt along time ago if I wait till I feel like going I won’t go. To me It’s not motivation as that can wane but it’s discipline and routine. As well as knowing it helps my mood perk up and I feel a sense of accomplishment.

Fight for what you want and wish for. You can't just expect life to be easy and the path to be smooth. There will be ups and downs and the road will be bumpy but keep your eyes on your coal and you can achieve everything and don't just do what is easiest and most comfortable because you're scared, because then you'll only live your life half and won't reach your full potential 🙏

We have enjoyed this summer to the fullest, perhaps, maybe too much without realizing what we have put into our body. This September 2nd.  we will get "back on track". We will begin a new "healthy keto" challenge to burn the "that extra fat", to improve our health and feel even better for the new season of the year. If you want to join this challenge to: - lose a few extra pounds? - have more energy? - level your blood sugar? - stabilize your insulin resistance? - learn new recipes? - balance your blood pressure? The glasses are not the same because two of them are recicled from other uses. But they are perfect and the kids love them. The straws are silicone and reusable.

little story: 10 years ago a 16 year girl got the nerves to talk to an older, “cool boy” on Facebook. They had mutual friends, lived near each other, although went to different schools it seemed exciting, and “omg he was a hockey player, bad boys type” you know, you get those tummy turning butterfly type of feelings?!?
Well, Being a high school girl who saw constant heart break thinking it was the end of the world I always was trying to protect my heart. Luckily it never was damaged. 
After that first date at the drive in we were nearly inseparable. Ever since life has been an adventure with you. 
I hope you find the type of love that makes you a better person. The type of love that you want to share everything with(yes even snacks). The type of love that’s your best friend and soul mate. The type of love that makes you love yourself more. The type of love that believes in you,  supports you, encourages you and lifts you up. 
Sometimes it looks like deep late night cuddles while tears drip down my face and a soaked cotton tee shirt, sometimes it’s yelling at one another during an intense workout, motivating, inspiring and knowing we can do better, and sometimes it looks like tickle fights, silly faces and laughing till our stomachs hurt, and binge watching the office eating snacks. Walking through life with a hand held in mine, and a leash with a four legged fur baby in the other. I hope you find that kind love. This isn’t fitness related so to speak but I can honestly say I never would have started on my “fitness journey” if it wasn’t for the love I was shown by @phit_brandon we are and always have been stronger together.

Drinking plenty of water is one of the simplest yet foundational choices we make to aid in feeling our best!
.
Many people struggle to drink water throughout the day, but are easily able to drink coffee, juices, etc. If you don’t love the taste of water on it’s own or just want to treat yourself to a refreshing “spa water”, adding flavorful fruit and herbs to your water can be a huge game-changer.
.
Swapping a sugary drink a day (or multiple sugary drinks a day) with water can make a huge impact for your overall health and help you lose weight naturally. Water can help with weight loss since it helps keep you full and has even been shown to temporarily raise your metabolic rate. Additionally, it aids digestive health, and can help improve mood & energy. .
Here’s how to prepare each spa water:
.
1- Lemon Blueberry: Combine 3-4 thin slices of lemon, a handful of blueberries & ice water. Give the fruit some time to soak in the water & then enjoy!
.
2- Strawberry Mint: Slice 4-5 medium sized strawberries and add them into a cup with water and ice along with a few mint leaves. Let soak & hydrate!
.
3- Lemon, Cucumber, Mint & Ginger: In a cup of ice water, add 3 thin lemon slices, 5-6 thinly sliced cucumbers, mint leaves & grated ginger to taste. Allow time for it to soak & then enjoy!
.
4- Orange Rosemary: Cut 2-3 slices of orange and then cut each slice in half to make semi-circles. Add them into a cup of ice water along with your rosemary (I used 2 small sprigs).
.
5- Cucumber Mint: In a cup of ice water, combine 6-7 thin cucumber slices along with mint leaves to taste. Let it sit and then drink!
.
6- Raspberry Kiwi: Combine a handful of raspberries and about 6 thin slices of kiwi in a cup of ice water. Allow time for it to soak & it’s good to go!

You can always substitute other fruits & herbs in your spa water as well, these are just some of my favorite go-to’s!

Happy Wednesday friends! I hope you all are having a good week so far! I’ve been feeling extremely overwhelmed the past couple days with school starting on Monday and everything on my plate! I have so many exciting things happening but in order to do them all, I have to let go of other things I care about! Im the kind of person that wants to help everyone and do everything I can for people which is a blessing and a curse because I eventually burn myself out! I’m learning to make myself a priority and doing what I know is best for me, even if it means upsetting other people! I will update you guys on what’s going on soon! Happy Wednesday friends! I hope you all are having a good week so far! I’ve been feeling extremely overwhelmed the past couple days with school starting on Monday and everything on my plate! I have so many exciting things happening but in order to do them all, I have to let go of other things I care about! Im the kind of person that wants to help everyone and do everything I can for people which is a blessing and a curse because I eventually burn myself out! I’m learning to make myself a priority and doing what I know is best for me, even if it means upsetting other people! I will update you guys on what’s going on soon! Thank you all for your constant love and support, I appreciate it more than you know and i am so thankful for this community ❤️

sometimes you just need to sweat it out 💦💦
i had zero intention of taking this pic when i walked into the gym. i woke up bloated, sore, and weak. but after what ended up being a really solid leg workout i felt 100x better and honestly like a whole new human 🤗

Its been packed day, so I’m going for the “little bit of this, little bit of that” special for lunch today: grass-fed mini hot dogs, soft boiled egg, olives, cukes, feta cheese, and tomatoes.

Love snack plates … I get a bunch of different flavors, textures, nutrients, and healthy fats to keep me full. And the variety always keeps things interested.
.
Here is everything on the plate:
.
1.100% grass-fed mini hot dogs from @twrgrassfedbeef - these hot dogs are the shizzz.

2.Soft boiled eggs topped with @traderjoes everything but the bagel seasoning.
.
3.Fresh local cherry tomatos. These taste and smell so much better when they’re local.
.
4.Sliced cucumber with morning everything but the bagel seasoning.
.
5.Feta cheese … to dip cucumbers into, of course.
.
6.Sliced black olives .
7.Not pictured: a piece of dark chocolate I dipped into some pecan butter since I had some calories left over to mess with.

Sommer bedeutet für mich Leichtigkeit. Auf der Straße tanzen, bunte Farben und Eis. Lebensfreude und lange Sommerabende, voller guter Gespräche, Duft nach Blumen und Grillenzirpen. Das zu erleben, ist für mich Luxus. Wie definiert ihr Luxus? Oftmals wundere ich mich, was bei uns in der Gesellschaft als Luxus oder sich „etwas leisten“ gilt, denn oft sind diese Dinge eher schädigend als gut für uns. Gesundheit zb. Das ist für mich das höchste Gut. Oft sehe ich aber, das Menschen so leichtfertig mit ihrer Gesundheit umgehen. Drogen, Alkohol, schlechte Ernährung, wenig Schlaf und Stress. Letzteres kann man nicht immer beeinflussen, die anderen Punkte aber schon. Ich liebe meinen Körper und was er täglich für mich leistet, deswegen kümmere ich mich auch gut um ihn und versuche wirklich mein Bestes, ihm nur gutes zu tun. Ich schlafe mindestens 8 Stunden jeden Tag, versuche 2 Liter Wasser zu Trinken, ernähre mich vegan und frisch ( ich koche selbst und esse wenig verarbeitete Produkte) gebe auf mich und meine Psyche acht und umgebe mich mit Dingen die mir gut tun. Ich versuche mich mehrfach die Woche sportlich zu bestätigen, durch Training oder Yoga.
