Doing basic yoga and some fancier stuff helps me find more motivation to stretch. At the end of the day, I know it will help my body with recovery and therefore help my lifts. Cardio, on the other hand..I still just lift weights faster or for more reps. #teamnocardio

Measurements tomorrow! Word around the gym is consistency. I’m not one to preach something I don’t practice, so I’m on that scale to see if I’m heading toward my goals week over week.
This week has been super busy and a bit chaotic, but I really didn’t want that to get in the way of my goals. So in anticipation I scheduled my meal prep in my calendar, over booked my workouts, and took my water and snacks with me EVERYWHERE. As a result, I only had 1 day with too low of calories and 1 missed workout. I’ll call it a win! Let’s see what the results say tomorrow! 💪🏼😆

Did you know your body is 60% of water?! Drinking water is beneficial to your health and well-being. A typical person should drink eight 8oz glasses a water a day to keep hydrated and if your are active like me you should drink 2x the amount.  On a daily I drink about a gallon a day or even more. I was getting tired of refilling my bottles and lost track of how much water I was drinking. I can across @hydrojug and they carry 1/2 gallon jugs. Very helpful for me to keep track of how much water I’m drinking daily.  I bring it to work, traveling, gym pretty much everywhere. They also has accessories like sleeves for them so you can carry it with you while on a walk or at the mall. They have pockets in them too so you can put your phone, wallet and keys in there if you don’t have a gym bag or purse. Top set was 4x2 at 250 and a guy next to me felt the need to comment on my form ....he was lifting the same weight.... Guys... if she’s lifting heavy (obviously knows what she’s doing) and didn’t ask for “tips” get off her jock. Shoulders/triceps sprints. I only had an hr so I got a quick one in . 
Shoulders: 
Face pulls 4x20
Tri-set
Bent over raises/side laterals/front raises 3 sets reps 10+ , kinda just went until my traps started trying to compensate.
Standing presses...shoulders already pooped ...so these were difficult 2x10, 2x6
Triceps spoto presses 4x12
Cable rope press downs 3x10
Tricep extensions 3x10
Sprints 20 min...hip and knee whacked today so I kept the “ sprint” at 9 mph ( really just because I’m afraid of my knee giving out mid sprint...probably shouldn’t be sprinting...but I’m no quitter)
..but bumped the incline up to 5 . 40 sec sprint..50 sec recovery walk at 4.3 mph. change of scenery for once🤪 
I’m away from home so i had to make do with what the hotel gym had.. which consisted of 3 cardio machines, exercise balls, and a set of dumbbells. 
BUT i actually got a killer sweat going and honestly had a GREAT workout. 
Moral of the story- you can always make do with what you have. Life doesn’t always hand us the perfect set up or ideal situations, but there is always a way to make the most of it, especially when it comes to fitness. You can always get a killer workout in with just your body! 
The only thing keeping you from achieving what you want to achieve is you!

BUT i actually got a killer sweat going and honestly had a GREAT workout.
Moral of the story- you can always make do with what you have. Life doesn’t always hand us the perfect set up or ideal situations, but there is always a way to make the most of it, especially when it comes to fitness. You can always get a killer workout in with just your body!

Que dia bom! Hoje tem ultrassom dos bebês, eu amo demais poder ver os dois treinando natação na pancinha da mamãe aqui! Afinal de contas já corremos e pedalamos juntos, então o Triathlon tá completo! Hoje fizemos só uma caminhada rápida porque to com aquela dor no cóccix (bem no rabitoooo) que não passa, então caminhei 1 hora e fiquei felizinha! Agora partiu trabalhar pra pagar os boletos 🤰🏻🤘🏼
