love this post by @syattfitness -  Bathilda Bagshot pulled me aside at the Yule Ball and quietly told me the key to a great workout lies less in the actual exercises and sets and reps than many witches and wizards think.

Because most important is doing something you enjoy. Because if you enjoy it, you'll be consistent. And consistency is the key to success.

That said, Bathilda also explained the 4 major components of every well designed workout. They are:

Step 1 --> Warm Up: there are a fafillion ways to structure a warm up and the best is dependent on what YOU need most. But, generally, I like to start each warmup with a nibble of stretching (calves, hip flexors, glutes, pecs). Then some activation exercises (glute bridges, wall slides, etc). And finally a few big bang movements (walking spiderman, yoga plex, etc) to "cement" it all together. Warmup should be no longer than 5-15min.

Step 2 --> The Main Move is your main "strength move" of the day and is going to be your heaviest lift. Depending on your goal you can do one or two big lifts and ideally choose a compound exercise like squats, deadlifts, bench, chin-ups, lunges, etc that recruits a metric butt load of muscle and builds fully grown mountain troll strength.

Step 3 --> Accessory Work is your lighter exercises that aren't as taxing as the main move and largely contribute to muscle growth and definition rather than just pure strength. Basically all exercises work here. Just keep the weights lighter than the main move and focus on feeling the muscles work, not trying to "momentum" the weight up. 3-5 accessory exercises per day is plenty.

Step 4 --> Finishers are not just metabolic work. They can be (and if you want them I have 101 free metabolic workouts in my highlights) but finishers can be mobility based, strength based, metabolic based, or a combo of all 3. Either way, choose what jibes best with your current goals and you can't go wrong. I’ve found a combo of all 3 tends to work best as you get the best of all worlds.

Wczoraj spędziłam cały dzień w łóżku z migrena. 
Dieta 0. Nic nie jadłam tylko piłam wodę. Ćwiczenia tym bardziej odpadły.
Dziś czułam się już lepiej i zaczęłam jeść, ale jestem jeszcze za słaba żeby ćwiczyć!

Today while shopping I was in the frozen food isles looking for THAT pizza. As I walk past 2 ladies talking about food. .
.
Lady 1: *Pulls out* frozen meal. .
Lady 2: How many calories is in that. .
Lady 1: 270 calories . .
Lady 2: No put that back. .
.
All in the midst I was thinking, I’m so glad I don’t have to count calories while doing this lifestyle because shopping would take FOREVER! .
.
It’s all about balance y’all. I still eat the pizza + I still eat a nutty bar or two through the week. You don’t HAVE to count calories, you don’t HAVE to spend hours in the grocery store + you don’t HAVE to live a restricted life either. .

I competed in the Bikini D division at the New-Brunswick CPA natural show this weekend. I placed second but felt super proud with the package at brought to the stage. I think my posing is improving, and so is my overall shape. Steady progress, just doing what i love each and every day ❤️ I strongly recommend my posing coach @krystalfitdiva She has metamorphed me from a cocoon to this! ⁣She is the posing goddess of all gods i swear!!! 🙊 ⁣⁣⁣

Today we are going on a 35 mile bike ride and as I was getting ready I was texting with one of my clients. At first we were just confirming our session and then the conversation proceeded to go to talking about depression and self worth. I spent years critiquing myself and my body and sometimes I still do. 
I am not as lean as I was before my wedding (of course) and sometimes I can get down on myself but the reality is. Today I am stronger, and have different goals. I have a fuller frame and I actually have a booty.

Let today be a day where you are kind to yourself. Be patient with your body as it has been patient with you. Fitness is a lifelong journey and has no destination. 
Today I choose to tell myself that I am beautiful and when I look in the mirror I like the person that I am. 
You can fucking do this and you never have to do it alone again. 🏋️‍♀️

HAPPY SUNDAY ihr Lieben 🙃 
Ich war heute mit einer Freundin ein Runde spazieren fast 7km um genau zu sein. Was gibt es schöneres als eine Assipalme auf'm Kopf, eine entspannte Jogger und nen aktiver Sonntagswalk? Richtig das Belohnungseis🍦 hinterher.😂 Getrackt wurde übrigens mit meiner #fitbit fast 12000 Schritte und 600kcal also eine Kugel Mangosorbet war drin🤙Trackt ihr auch oder esst ihr nach Gefühl? Ich hab mir fest vorgenommen ab morgen wieder zu tracken, da in letzter Zeit hin und wieder gegönnt wurde. Was auch mal gut tut.😆Schönen Sonntag euch noch❤

Pełna pozytywnej energii rozpoczynam dzisiejszą niedzielę niecodziennym śniadaniem. Pomysł zrodził się z chęci zjedzenia chleba, ale też czegoś bardziej objętościowego... papkowatego 😁 tzw. dzieciowe, pół-stałe jedzenie, wszelkie kremy, makarony - to moja "bajka" 😂 (Choćby płatki owsiane- wolę gotowane do miękkości, niż dodane surowe do np. jogurtu). No i oczywiście na słodko !!! 🤤 .
.
Smaczny chleb - 2 kromki, pokrojone w kostkę, zalane mlekiem - odstawiłam do nasiąknięcia. Na wierzch Skyr z cynamonowymi "płatkami śniadaniowymi" - Zimtinos z Lidla ❤️ Plus proteinowa biała czekolada i mogę jechać na trening 😀💪 .

Mimo, że wczoraj nastały Te dni - mam chęci na zrobienie konkretnego, ciężkiego treningu 😎 Wczoraj 4h snu i udany trening, a później popołudniowa godzinna drzemka nad jeziorem. Dziś mocne 8h snu - czuję, że bedzie moc ‼️ 💪 .

Kobiety w takie dni nie są sobą 😂😂😂 Warto mieć to na uwadze biorąc pod uwagę dzisiejszy pomysł na posiłek #przedtreningiem 😁
