Alright, so I was doing so well into September...and then I fell down a set of steps at work.

Even though it felt like I rebroke my ankle, I didn’t. It swelled up to the size of a grapefruit and everyone said it was just a sprain. (Except my sister, she said t might be a ligament or tendon issue). 4 weeks later I saw my doctor (they almost made me wait 6 weeks until I gave it back to them on the phone). She suggested physio and I suggested an ultrasound. Thankfully I pushed for my own health (with a push from my fiancé), because I just got the ultrasound test result and now I’m getting an MRI at some point.

So here I am, with a tear in my tendon of my left ankle. Having not moved my body for 2 months, my depression slowly crept back in with a loner bounce back time, I gained over 15 pounds since the injury, and my muscles are completely lost.

It feels that every time I get somewhere in my movement journey, something happens and it pushes me back. But each time I get back into it slowly. This past week I started on cutting out the foods that showed up high on my sensitivity test, and today I begin moving through yoga & @chalenejohnson’s @piyoworkout.

This program is what gets my muscles firing and my body stretching when “it’s been a while”. If it’s been a while for you to, hit me up and let’s stretch & strengthen together.

Happy Sunday everyone! It's so cold outside, but I'm still enjoying the day, and I hope that everyone else is, too. I put on my pointe shoes for the first time in years and took a 30 minute pointe class after ballet on flat. I've only taken a few pointe classes in my entire life, so my toes are going to hate me later. No knee pain right now, so yay! 🙌

On the left is me sharing about my journey a few months in. I think I was down about 40 pounds and just felt so good I could not stay seated and had to share! .
On the right is Friday sharing stories my biweekly business breakfast.

I’m not at my goals yet but standing up and sharing before being at my goal has helped me get to where I am faster and longer than the 20 years of failing previously. .
some of my biggest lessons on this journey is that things don’t truly make you happy. Progress. Progress is what makes you truly happy. Give yourself an opportunity to make progress and then surround yourself with others who will cheer you on and keep you going even through those little moments where you feel like you want to quit. .
most of my adult life I spent maxing out credit cards buying things because it felt good and I thought it would make me happy. I also invested thousands in quickfix pills patches and wraps for 20 years. Comparing that 20 year roller coaster cycle to this last three years hands-down shows me I made the right choice to give up those quick fix magic pill dreams and join my coach. .
I know someone needs my story and needs to join me to take those baby steps towards progress. I know because I NEEDED someone like me. ❤️

Where my HIIT lovers at?! 🤚🏽

HIIT stands for High Intensity Interval Training (short bursts of intense exercise followed by a recovery period). This type of workout is one of the BEST ways to reshape your body, improve strength and burn fat in the SHORTEST amount of time! It’s perfect for the busy bee.

I aim to do a 15-20min HIIT workout 5 days a week. Sometimes I’ll sweat it out in my living room, other times I’ll take it outdoors. Sometimes I add dumbbells, other times I just use my bodyweight.

Here is a 15min HIIT workout for you to try indoor or outdoors (no equipment needed!)

At first glance this looks like one of those very classic shots of Berlin, taken from @panoramapunkt, at Potsdamer Platz. Although the composition might look familiar, there’s a big difference and that’s the light. For the first time a group of passionate photographers (@marcel_travels, @urbanberlin @boeseheike, @jana_from_berlin and many more) was allowed to shoot sunrise from this awesome spot. So happy that I got the chance to join.
A massive thanks goes out to @mulinarius who organized it as well as to @schoenemorgenwalk and @panoramapunkt. And last but not least to @leenie_jo and @madyguntair for getting up so early and making this possible. .

Exercise is the best medicine! 🏃‍♀️ If you are feeling down or need to relieve stress I strongly suggest going for a short run or play your favorite sport. •



I bring this up because it’s crazy how taking even a week of from exercising can make me feel completely out of it! Even when I’m having the time of my life in Tokyo... I believe it happens easily for me because I basically workout all day so a few days off is crazy for me 🤪




Needless to say, I am loving my trip but I can’t wait to get back into the groove of things and play 🎾 and workout 🏋️‍♀️😉

had a killer upper body day! im trying out a new split in efforts to keep things interesting so im not bored. 😂 idk what it is about this fall/winter time but i get SO MOTIVATED. im feeling so hyped and good about life right now😂 i know this won’t last forever but that doesn’t mean i can’t enjoy it. honestly i feel like i’m putting a lot of pressure on myself to replicate last year because i was so motivated, seeing tons of progress and this account was growing like CRAZY. there have been a lot of ups and downs since then, but i’m trying my best to work on being happy with what my life is like now instead of being stressed/bummed about how i feel like certain things regarding my fitness and account are “missing.” idk guys!!! just some random thoughts lol ok HAPPY #MOTIVATIONMONDAY! get out and move today. love ya
