I had a post 50 mile race acupuncture session with @mindfulmedroc I feel amazing! If you have any body pains, either chronic or not you have to go see Dr Aaron Olden! Not only is he an acupuncturist but he is also an MD! It doesn’t get any better than that! I am living proof that it works! Anyone who knows me knows I don’t give recommendations unless I am 100% sure. Workout 100/100 DONE!🎉⁣

I did it! I completed all 100 workouts! I loved how different all the workouts were but after 100 of them, I’m ready for a change!😂⁣

I don’t workout, move my body, and complete these programs for certain results. But to feel my best. My goal when I start each program is to be stronger than I was when I started. Not to lose weight or look different. ⁣

This program was super challenging for me. Not as much physically but mentally. I am more comfortable with simple moves that you can do without watching the screen. Most of the moves in the program were complex and I spent a lot of time trying to learn them. Once I got one down, it was changed up in the next chapter!🤷🏼‍♀️ ⁣

Between workout 1 and workout 100 I don’t see much physical change (which is fine because I didn’t do this to lose weight). I lost 4lbs but who’s counting! ⁣

Super proud of myself for committing and sticking with this program even when I wanted to quit. On to the next! Transform:20, here is come!!!!!! Super excited to jump back into this fast paced, quick program! ⁣

Are you in a fitness rut?
Maybe you have late cancelled several time the past few weeks with all the intentions of showing up. Perhaps your workout buddy isn’t the best choice because he/she tends to flake out often leaving your motivation in the tubes. Maybe you aren’t trying new teachers and getting out of your usual routine.
My least favorite excuse or phrase is I will start January 1st. I will start Monday. After this week I will eat clean or get back into it. 🙄
We all have our ups and downs but no time is better than the present. Maybe it’s walking to your destination instead of ubering 💰. Perhaps you choose the gym before your weekend boozy brunch. It’s those little changes that add up to BIG THINGS. Find those who motivate you and make workout plans with them. Run a little faster. Keep moving till the last count in your tabata. If you’re early to your class but always LEAVE EARLY... add some extra core work in or begin stretching.
Baby Steps People. Keep moving, keep killing it and I’ll see you Monday morning at 6am.

I commit to doing 18 push-ups a day for 18 days to raise awareness for ALS and the Friends of Jeff Madelone (https://www.facebook.com/FriendsofJeffMadelone/). 18 years ago Jeff received a fatal diagnosis. He was given the standard prognosis of 2-5 years. Thankfully, he has long outlived that but his fight is far from over.

Nothing is going to happen until you put the work in. ⁣

From Friday at 5:00pm to sunday night at 9:00pm you can take 31hrs to put towards your goals and still have time to relax and watch netflix or go to a bar. ⁣

My schedule is OFF! Does that ever happen to you? There seems to be so few hours and so many things to do! .

Here is a quick work out in an unfamiliar city in an unfamiliar gym. That’s nerve wracking too! Especially when I will always pick resistance training over cardio. Do I want to burn calories or maintain lean tissue? I can do both with a challenging 1 minute complex. .

This workout ended up being six rounds as I increased weight each round with multi-joint movements. FIRE! .

Push up, deadlift, row, squat complexes are my favorite.
Push and pull movements make sense. No tricks and nothing complicated. Make your workout count! .

⁣Currently relying on discipline to get me through some of these sessions. I’ve stopped waiting for motivation as I could be waiting forever... as we all know it comes and goes 🤷🏽‍♀️⠀

The time you spend waiting on motivation to kick in could have been spent doing what you need to do to achieve what you want! It isn’t always easy, sometimes it’s really hard, but you have to remember your why and know you’re capable of achieving your goals no matter what 💯 . ⠀

I wasn’t that motivated this morning (v tired from a week of ridiculously early starts) BUT I went to the gym regardless and had the absolute best leg day🤷🏻‍♀️🤪

Managed to get a few new PBs ‼️ And did a good lil finisher to completely kill off the glutes 🍑

Apparently you can have a killer day even when you’re not feeling it🤩 getting there is the hardest part - get there, get it done and you’ll feel fab afterwards 🏋🏻‍♀️
