First smoothie bowl in the coconut bowls I brought home from Bali 💖
I'm always looking at how I can maximise the nutritional value of every meal I deliver to the cells in my body with a combination of carbs, protein and essential fats. For me it also has to be plant based 🌿, gf, dairy free and bioavailable.
Today's bowl contains:
🔹️Frozen Raspberries
🔹️Frozen Blackberries
🔹️Frozen Banana
🔹️Coconut Water
🔹️Complete Protein Smoothie blend (vanilla)
🔹️Avocado
🔹️Handful of spinach leaves
🔹️Mint leaves
For the topping:
🔸️Chia seeds
🔸️Pepitas
🔸️Buckwheat kernels 🔸️Sunflower seeds 🔸️Organic Granola

Cabbage Stir Fry
Cabbage is impressively full of vitamins and nutrients. It’s so low in calories and so filling it makes for the perfect base of a stir fry. I added a whole head of cabbage, carrots, onion, green onion, garlic, ginger (which is also sooooo good for you) threw it in a pan and stir fried it. I added a mix of 2tbsp of coconut aminos/ soy sauce, 2tbsp sriracha, 1tbsp rice vinegar, 1/2 tbsp brown sugar and some toasted sesame seeds. Mix up and top with more sesame seeds and sriracha. Soooo good and so low in calories & carbs. Full of veggies and full of nutrients. I STRONGLY recommend this. Saturday night wing night is something to get excited about! 😬 if you aren’t making them in the air fryer, you should because they are THAT good! I used @woodstockfoods hickory bbq sauce and @markymarkbassmasterchief used hot buffalo wing sauce🤮. This was only the first portion I ate since you can make so many at once in the air fryer. PS- if all of a sudden my photos start to look better it’s cause the camera on this iPhone 11 is 💯 and way better than my 6😜😆😂 #overdue #upgrade

I'm on a roll this weekend 😆. I always have some callaloo and plantain in the fridge for evenings like these. Easy whip up👆. I can never have enough steamed callaloo and fried plantains. I will have it for breakfast, lunch or dinner. That's how much i ❤ this combo! #jamaicanfood :

My Fastest Spinach Hemp Soup EVER recipe was created when I was busily preparing food for one of my workshops.👩🏻‍🍳 ⁣⁣⁠⠀
⁣⁣⁠⠀
My staff were all working so hard preparing the ingredients for the following day that they forgot to eat! So I went into action and whipped up this spinach soup and within 8 minutes we were enjoying it, making this the fastest spinach soup ever!⏱⁣⁣⁠⠀
⁣⁣⁠⠀
Ingredients:⁣⁣⁠⠀
⁣⁣⁠⠀
8 cups fresh spinach, loosely packed⁣⁣⁠⠀
1/4 cup lemon juice⁣⁣⁠⠀
1 cup roasted squash or yam or canned organic pumpkin⁣⁣⁠⠀
1 tbsp coconut butter⁣⁣⁠⠀
2-3 whole green onions⁣⁣⁠⠀
2 1/2 cups boiling water with GoBio bouillon cube or 1 1/2 cups vegetable broth⁣⁣⁠⠀
1/4 cup hemp hearts⁣⁣⁠⠀
unrefined sea salt to taste⁣⁣⁠⠀
a drizzle of organic olive oil⁣⁣⁠⠀
⁣⁣⁠⠀
Directions:⁣⁣⁠⠀

1. Put all ingredients (except olive oil) into a blender and puree on high until silky smooth.⁣⁣⁠⠀

I feel like I’m always posting about salmon, so I figured I should explain why. Salmon is one of the best sources of omega 3s. There are 3 important types of omega 3s:
1) ALA
2) DHA
3) EPA
ALA is found mostly in plants (flaxseed, soybean, nuts, seeds) while DHA and EPA are found mostly in animal foods like fatty fish. Omega 3s have been shown to help with heart health, depressions, skin health, memory, eye health, pregnancy health, arthritis, cancer, type 2 diabetes, and the list goes on and on. ALA omega 3s have to be converted to EPA or DHA before they can be absorbed by our bodies, and are therefore not as efficient of a source of omega 3s as DHA and EPA (the animal based sources). Fish with the highest amounts of DHA/EPA omega 3s are salmon, trout, herring, halibut, tuna, and sardines. The American Heart Association recommends that we eat 2 servings of fatty fish per week for optimal health. Cue: SALMON! For me, both salmon and tuna are the easiest ways for me to get my omega 3s in. Remember that canned and frozen are just as good! Aim for wild caught when you can.

For this dish, I used @gortonsseafood frozen lemon butter salmon. I have to admit, I was skeptical of seasoned frozen fish, but it was AMAZING. Only 3 ingredients: salmon, butter, and lemon. And it’s wild caught. 10/10 will buy again!

Christmas has come early ... I got a "bluicer"! It's a juicer and blender in one. Can finally start making breakfast smoothies again. This one is packed full of nutrients. I threw in mango, blackberries, blueberries, fresh spearmint from the garden, raspberries, papaya, apple, banana, raw organic coconut oil and organic ginger powder. My favourite 🌟 at the moment! My hero! Lemonbalm. Yesterday my daughter came home from school with vertigo, stomach ache and also developed a rash all over her skin. I found her in the bath, skin all red and hot from the rash (like hives), with cramps, hoping that warm water would help with the pain but even though it was a little better it did not seem to go away this time . She was in pain. When she got up, she would get dizzy. Thanks to @medicalmedium there was no panic inside of me. We got her to her bed. I brought her some lemonwater to drink and gave her Ester C, Zinc, B12 and lemon balm and put the gel of a fresh aloe leaf all over her skin.
Now - I dare not say how much lemon balm I gave her because IT WAS A LOT!!! I counted on that because I knew it would calm her vagus nerve and all the nerves in the intestinal tract. It was AMAZING! Within 10 minutes she told me the pain was gone. The rash went away. Even though I know that @medicalmedium is sharing the truth the immediate reaction still surprised me! I LOVE THIS HERB. Make sure you get the one from @vimergy like Anthony recommends.
Another funny detail on the side: My daughter had asked me: what is it that I react to? I explained that there is viral/bacterial activity in her body anyways, also causing a sluggish liver (we know that from other symptoms she has and are working on it) and that small things can push her over the edge when the body is a little more run down than usual. All of a sudden a thought popped into my head and I asked her: Anna, was there somebody in the bus on your way home with perfume? She was surprised I asked and said that a man with heavy perfume smell sat down next to her. I am pretty sure that this was the last piece of the puzzle... As a mother: without the empowerment by knowledge you could easily end up in the ER with your child showing a reaction like this. And I personally am so happy that my intuition seems to get stronger 🙏. That is a miraculous gift for me that I know I owe to the healing power of plants (lemon balm being an important one) and Anthony William. Can't thank you enough, Anthony!!! #medicalmedium

MEDICAL MEDIUM ZINC SHOCK THERAPY

If you feel like you might have a cold or flu developing, you can use a healing practice I call “zinc shock therapy.” It’s important to begin it as soon as you get your first sign of a cold or flu, such as a tickle or soreness in the throat, feeling rundown and weak, fatigue, fever or aches and pains. It’s important to have a bottle of high-quality liquid zinc sulfate (@vimergy) on hand at all times so you have it ready as soon as you feel symptoms coming on.

Squirt two dropperfuls of liquid zinc sulfate into your throat, let it sit there for a full minute and then swallow the zinc.

Three hours later, squirt another two dropperfuls into your throat and let it sit there again for a full minute before swallowing.

Repeat every three waking hours for two days.
