I remember sitting on the couch, feeling nauseous, wondering if I’d ever learn how to stop overeating. 🤢⁣

I’d walk into my parents kitchen, look into the pan/pot and think “that is NOT enough food.” I put a mountain of food on my plate, walked back to the couch and mindlessly ate in front of the TV until it was ALL GONE.. I’d just eaten 6 servings 😨⁣

I thought for sure that once I moved out on my own I’d stop overeating. ⁣

I was WAYYYY wrong. My husband and I would almost throw down over the last spoonful & if that wasn’t enough, I’d go find something else to eat shortly after. ⁣

❌ I knew I had a problem. ⁣

❌ I knew I was going to gain weight if I didn’t stop.⁣

❌ I couldn’t stop because I had no understanding of what I was doing wrong. I thought I was eating until I was full. ⁣

❌ STUFFED was my version of FULL. ⁣

❌ I honestly didn’t know any better. ⁣

I came across a coach who directed me to a meal plan that laid out exactly how many calories I should be eating in a day. It also told me what TYPE of food I should be eating. ⁣

I was ecstatic! I had finally found the solution to my overeating issues. 😃⁣

But I hadn’t. I STILL overate even though I actually knew better, I just couldn’t control myself. 😖⁣

It was then when I realized I was eating TOO LITTLE which was, in turn, causing me to overeat. Once I calculated my calories correctly with the help of my coach, I FINALLY had it down and the weight started falling off! ⁣

I don’t know about you guys, but on week days I like to do practical and fast things. These cookies are all of if! And a little bit more: they are also healthy and contains fiber!
Let’s go to the recipe?
INGREDIENTS
✅3 table spoons of oat bran
✅10 drops of xylitol sweetener or 2 sachets (I like sachets better, because I think it's sweeter .. but it's optional😉)
✅6 table spoons of skimmed milk ✅2 coffee spoons of ground cinnamom 😜Grapes are not in the recipe, I just put them, because I felt like eating them 😋.
PREPARATION STEPS
👩🏽‍🍳Put all the ingredients in a container and mix well.... Until you get a consistency of a paste.
👩🏽‍🍳Make 2 or 3 cookies with the paste and place in a microwave-safe dish. (As you can see I don’t have the ability to model them with my hands.. 😬 I hope you do. But if not too, that’s ok... Cause what really matters is how it taste, isn’t it? 😉)
👩🏽‍🍳 Microwave for 2min30sec. And in the meantime, enjoy the cinnamon smell all over your kitchen while they bake.
👩🏽‍🍳After the you hear the “biiip biiip”, it's ready! 👉🏼Use a glove to remove the dish from the microwave because it gets very hot.

Menuda pedazo cena que me he percutido hoy 😎 Y no es para menos, que entreno duro para poder cenar así, bueno, y para ponerme fuerte también 😂😂

🍄 125gr de tortellini de boletus de @giovannirana_es comprados en @ahorramas_com buenísimos!! Super cremosos, saborazo a boletus... De 10! Os dejo foto de la bolsa.

🥬250gr de lombarda cocida que hice el finde pasado. La he comido así, cocida tal cual, sin saltear ni pasar por la sartén porque me encanta su sabor.
.
🥑 70gr de aguacate, que estaba ya súper blandito y es como a mi me gusta 😻
.
🌾140gr de tofu a la plancha, bien de orégano, vuelta y vuelta en la sartén y a disfrutar! También es comprado en @ahorramas_com (lo podéis ver unas publicaciones más atrás) .

🌵 RECETA SANA PARA GENTE CON UNA VIDA AJETREADA 💚

Trabajo, tareas del hogar, vida social, gimnasio... Tratar de mantener el equilibrio puede ser agotador a veces. Es por ello que os traigo esta receta: es sencilla, es rápida ¡y es perfecta para mantener una buena nutrición y dar lo mejor en el gimnasio!

INGREDIENTES 👩‍🍳 - 3 latas de atún en agua.
- 2 tomates medianos.
- 3 huevos cocidos.
- 4/5 hojas de lechuga.
- ½ cebolla.
- 2 pimientos asados. Yo los escogí rojos, pero podéis escoger el que más os guste.

RECETA 🍴
Si tenéis una trituradora grande se trata de poner todos los ingredientes juntos y listo.

Si cómo yo, tenéis una trituradora mediana tirando a pequeña, podéis hacerlo por pasos:

Triturar la cebolla, los tomates, los huevos, el pimiento y la lechuga, individualmente, para luego mezclarlos con las latas de atún y.... ¡Voilà! Listo para comer.

CONSEJOS 💪 ➡️Se mantiene en condiciones ideales (en nevera) durante una semana, aunque es probable que no os dure tanto, está muy bueno. Y lo dice una persona que tiene problemas para consumir atún en lata (no me gusta demasiado). ¿Y porqué lo consumo? Me he propuesto comer más sano y nutrir mi cuerpo con alimentos que ayuden al desarrollo muscular. ➡️Combina perfectamente con pasta, arroz ¡o incluso como relleno untable de bocadillos o sándwiches! Ideal para llevar al trabajo. ➡️Se puede comer como desayuno, bocadillo de media mañana, comida o cena. Incluso merienda, aunque yo no suelo merendar bocadillos por eso no lo he propuesto.

Espero que os guste y os haga la vida más fácil. Alimentarse bien es posible, solo hacen falta 15 minutos para esta receta. ¡Ánimo!

Have you ever considered that some of the physical discomforts we experience might common but not necessarily normal? This is the case with PMS. ⠀

Wanna impress someone with an ultra decadent special breakfast (that also happens to be hella easy?!)

I got this brilliant idea from Jessica @howsweeteats and pull it out on special occasions!
Simple. Easy. Decadent.
What’s not to love??!♥️🙌

French Baked Brioche and Eggs in Cream
:
:
:
4 slices brioche bread
4 tablespoons soft butter
1 cup heavy cream
pinch of salt and pepper
4 eggs
3 tbls chopped fresh chives
*

Preheat the oven to 375F. Butter a baking sheet with 1 tbls of butter.
Spread the rest of the butter on each side of the bread. Heat a skillet and toast bread until lightly golden on each side. Place on baking sheet.
Heat the cream in a saucepan over low heat until it is simmering. Season it with salt and pepper. Drizzle a tablespoon or 2 evenly over each slice of bread.
Crack each of the eggs onto a slice of bread. Pour the remaining cream over the eggs. Bake the toast for 13 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with chives. :

A delicious midweek lunch or dinner idea🍴

Quick, easy and delicious 😋

Fragrant chickpea burgers
400g tinned chickpeas, rinsed and drained
5 tsps ghee or olive oil
1/2 tsp ground dried red chillies
1 tsp cumin seeds
2 whole cloves
½ tsp ground turmeric
½ tsp ground cinnamon
½ tsp ground coriander
a good pinch of sea salt
10g fresh ginger, peeled and minced
100g white onion, finely chopped
a small handful of fresh coriander, finely chopped

MAKES 3 BURGERS

PER BURGER:
195 Calories
17g Carbs
7g Protein
11g Fat

Mash the chickpeas in a large bowl.
Heat 3 tsps ghee/oil in a medium sized saucepan over a medium heat. Add the dried red chillies, cumin seeds and cloves and fry gently for 45-60 seconds until they begin to darken in colour.

Reduce the heat to low and add the turmeric, ground cinnamon, ground coriander, salt, ginger and onion. Mix well and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the onions are soft.

Transfer the onion mixture to a plate and allow to cool for 5 minutes. Remove the two cloves and discard, then add the onions to the mashed chickpeas. Add the fresh coriander and stir well to combine. Shape the mixture into three patties.

Heat the remaining oil in a frying pan over a medium heat. Place the patties in the frying pan. Cook for around 6-8 minutes on one side, then carefully turn over using a slice. Cook until golden. Serve with a salad.

Store any leftovers in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 3 days.

Tropical overnight chia seed pudding with oats! It is 35° in Atlanta, and I’m pretending to be somewhere tropical 🌴🌞. Chia seeds are filled with protein, fiber, antioxidants, and omega-3‘s. They are the perfect way to start the morning!
Overnight chia seeds/oats are also a great breakfast option for babies ready to eat table foods and toddlers (make sure to purée/dice the fruit into age appropriate pieces).

Tropical overnight chia seed pudding with oats! It is 35° in Atlanta, and I’m pretending to be somewhere tropical 🌴🌞. Chia seeds are filled with protein, fiber, antioxidants, and omega-3‘s. They are the perfect way to start the morning! 
Overnight chia seeds/oats are also a great breakfast option for babies ready to eat table foods and toddlers (make sure to purée/dice the fruit into age appropriate pieces).

🍝 MACARRONES CON TOFU, CHAMPIÑONES Y CALABACÍN

Hoy toca tupper #vegano y en este caso es el tofu el que sustituye a la proteína animal, así que si no sois muy fans del tofu o lo queréis en versión no vegana solo tenéis que cambiar el tofu por pollo, pavo, ternera, cerdo, atún... O lo que más os guste 😊

📝 El tupper lleva...

🌾200gr de tofu salteado en sartén con un pelín de AOVE y especias varias. El tofu en sí es un poco soso así que debéis marinarlo antes o saltearlo bien con especias para que os sepa más, aunque yo debo ser rara porque me encanta el tofu tal cual.
.
🍄250gr de calabacín y champiñones a la plancha, con poquito de sal, no necesita nada más
.
🍝50gr de macarrones integrales (peso en seco).
.
🗒Para que todo quede más sabroso, aunque hago cada cosa por separado, al final lo junto todo en una sartén para que se mezclen los sabores y de paso añado mis especias favoritas (orégano, albahaca...). Hay que ser especialmente cuidadoso con el tofu porque es bastante blandito y al mezclarlo se puede romper.

Opción saludable, alta en proteínas y baja en carbohidratos.

Pollo relleno (4 porciones):
✔ espinacas
✔ tomates secos (100 g)
✔ 2 pechugas de pollo (900 g)
👉 abrir las pechugas para rellenar, salpimentar, cubrir con espinacas y tomates secos, enrollar y cerrar con palillos. Colocar en una placa para horno rociada con aceite, salpimentar y agregar salsa de soja. Cocinar 1 hora a 180°C.

Cada porción aporta 335 kcal, 57.7 g prot, 5.2 g far, 14.2 g carbs.

Buongiorno a tutti!💕
Questa mattinata è iniziata con una serie di sfighe che non vi dico🤣 ma va bene così ogni tanto succede, bisogna solo imparare a non darci troppo peso!
Per il resto procede tutto bene, sono molta contenta del percorso che sto facendo, di cosa sto riuscendo a costruire 🏋🏼‍♀️ e dei risultati che sto ottenendo anche nell’allenamento!
Come già vi avevo detto ho passato un periodo molto stressante che mi ha limitato sotto un po’ tutti i punti di vista ma adesso ho capito che accumulare tutto quello stress è solamente controproducente ed è necessario imparare a gestirlo e a prendere le cose con più leggerezza! 🍃

In foto⬆️ colazione con un #cicciopancake alle castagne davvero ottimo e morbidissimo! Ho utilizzato:
✅ 50g farina di riso
✅ 30g farina di castagne
✅ 160g albume
✅ 1/2 mela a pezzetti
✅ cannella q.b.
✅ 10g cioccolato fondente al 90%

Se vi piacciono le castagne e i gusti autunnali 🍁 dovete davvero provare ad utilizzare la farina di castagne nell’impasto dei pancake! Riesce a dare una consistenza molto soffice al tutto!

There is no such thing as “training to tone” 😳

When I am discussing fitness goals with someone, they usually start off by saying they want to be “toned". Most of us believe very high reps, light weight, and tons of cardio will get you toned. I hate to break it to ya, but “toned” is just a fancy word for muscle building. And how do we build muscle? WEIGHT TRAINING. 🙌🏽
.
Building muscle is harder than you think. There is a common misconception that you automatically turn "bulky" and it just doesn’t work that way.
You aren’t going to get bulky unless you are eating in a surplus and not training enough OR eating in a surplus and taking 💉. .
Don't be afraid to pick up some weight.
Don’t be afraid to go heavy.
And don’t constantly restrict yourself from the foods you enjoy.
.
The more muscle on your body, the faster your metabolism is and the more fat you burn. This gives you the opportunity to rev up your metabolism and keep you on a constant path of making progress. I have been lifting weights since I was 14 years old. I remember doing a chest press with dumbbells that were only 2 pounds! Fast forward 10 years later, I’m pressing up 50 lbs in each hand! You gotta start somewhere, stay in it for the long run, and don’t be afraid to life like a dude 😜

This doesn’t mean I don’t think you can pursue weight loss, but it does mean that I think weight loss phases should be brief and infrequent, even if you want to lose quite a bit.

This may sound silly and like it will just prolong reaching your goals, but listen, life is happening now, it doesn’t start at your goal weight. AND, when we can find some excitement about being healthy that has nothing to do with weight loss, all of the sudden consistency seems a little easier.

I’m a big fan of challenging ourselves, but the challenge doesn’t have to be “how little can I eat and still function?”

In 2020 why not try this: eat how much food your body needs. Even more sometimes, because it feels really awesome to fuel your body so you can go run mountains and lift heavy things and pick up your 68 pound dog. 😂🤷🏻‍♀️🐾

I thought that I would never be able to accomplish my fitness goals…⁣

💭 I literally said, “welp, I can try but I probably will never get there”⁣

It’s crazy the little amount of potential that I believed I had and maybe you’re in a similar position⁣

This was mostly due to…⁣
❌ Following restrictive diets & binge eating⁣
❌ Staying on track, then falling off repeatedly only seeing minimal results (I do NOT miss those days, pass the pizza lol)⁣
❌ Having a “lack” mindset⁣

✅ It wasn’t until I invested in various mentors & programs to expand my knowledge & expertise to develop what you really need to make a transformation #nerd 🤓⁣

🌟 Two MAJOR things that I want you to take away from this are…⁣

RECETTE ENERGY BALLS

Besoin d'une recette saine et gourmande pour le goûter ou un snack à emmener partout avec toi ?
J'ai ce qu'il te faut ! Pour les réaliser il te faudra : - 50g de flocons d’avoine
- 2 cuillères à soupe de purée de beurre de cacahuètes ou de pâte d'oleagineux de votre choix.
- 1 cuillère à soupe de sirop d’agave ou de miel
- Une petite scoop de protéines, whey ou végétale, parfum de votre choix, ici chocolat (optionnel)
- Un peu d’eau
- De la coco râpée et des graines de chia

Mélanger les flocons d'avoine avec la whey. Ajouter le peanut butter, le sirop d'agave ainsi qu'un tout petit peu d'eau, juste assez pour obtenir une pâte à la consistance solide mais malléable.
Former des boules de la taille de votre choix.
Rouler dans de la coco rapée et/ou des graines de chia, ou tout autre enrobage au choix 🥰. La recette est déclinable à l'infini selon vos goûts et vos envies !

Lange nichts gehört, aber ich hatte leider nicht so viel Zeit. Heute habe ich mal was mit Chicorée ausprobiert und finde es echt lecker.
Ofen Chicorée mit Serrano und Ziegenkäse.

Ihr braucht dazu:
4 Stück Chicorée, 2EL Butter, 1TL brauner Zucker, 8 Scheiben Serrano Schinken, halber Bund Petersilie, 150g Ziegenkäse, 4EL Preiselbeeren, Salz und Pfeffer
.
Den Chicorée längs halbieren und den Strunk entfernen. Butter in der Pfanne schmelzen und den Zucker hineinstreuen. Chicorée mit den Schnittflächen nach unten für 6 Minuten anbraten. Anschließend die Hälften in eine Auflaufform geben und für 10 Minuten bei 200 Grad braten. Nun den Serrano Schinken auf den Chicorée legen und nochmal für 5 Minuten braten. Petersilie wachen und fein hacken. Ziegenkäse und Preiselbeeren auf die heißen Hälften verteilen. Mit Salz und Pfeffer bestreuen und die Petersilie drauf verteilen.

Ich habe die Auflaufform aus dem Ofen genommen und unter dem Serrano Schinken den Ziegenkäse gelegt. Dann die Preiselbeeren auf den Serrano Schinken. Aber das könnt ihr ja selbst entscheiden. .

1. 🍈 melon & cottage cheese: I like to slice up some melon and put 1/2 tbsp cottage cheese with it!
2. 🍿 Popcorn & chocolate: I like mine air-popped with some chocolate disks
3. 🍏 Apple & pecan: place some lemon juice on sliced apple to prevent it from going brown!
4. 🍊Grapefruit & pistachio: better to separate the grapefruit so that it doesn’t make the pistachios soggy!
5. 🍫 Blueberries & choc chips: one of my favorites!
6. 🍇Grapes & cheese: one of the tastiest combos! I personally love white cheddar or mozzarella

1. 🍈 melon & cottage cheese: I like to slice up some melon and put 1/2 tbsp cottage cheese with it!
2. 🍿 Popcorn & chocolate: I like mine air-popped with some chocolate disks
3. 🍏 Apple & pecan: place some lemon juice on sliced apple to prevent it from going brown!
4. 🍊Grapefruit & pistachio: better to separate the grapefruit so that it doesn’t make the pistachios soggy!
5. 🍫 Blueberries & choc chips: one of my favorites!
6. 🍇Grapes & cheese: one of the tastiest combos! I personally love white cheddar or mozzarella

I got this brilliant idea from Jessica @howsweeteats and pull it out on special occasions!

French Baked Brioche and Eggs in Cream
:
:
:
4 slices brioche bread
4 tablespoons soft butter
1 cup heavy cream
pinch of salt and pepper
4 eggs
3 tbls chopped fresh chives
*

Preheat the oven to 375F. Butter a baking sheet with 1 tbls of butter.
Spread the rest of the butter on each side of the bread. Heat a skillet and toast bread until lightly golden on each side. Place on baking sheet.
Heat the cream in a saucepan over low heat until it is simmering. Season it with salt and pepper. Drizzle a tablespoon or 2 evenly over each slice of bread.
Crack each of the eggs onto a slice of bread. Pour the remaining cream over the eggs. Bake the toast for 13 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with chives. :

Angel hair Pasta with Simple Tomato Sauce and Burrata
:

Preheat the oven to 400F. Toss 2 pints of cherry tomatoes lightly with olive oil on a sheet pan. Spread them out into one layer and sprinkle generously with kosher salt and pepper. Roast for 15 to 20 minutes, until the tomatoes are soft, wrinkly and beginning to break down. Remove from oven. Meanwhile cook 1 lb of angel hair pasta. When it is done drain it reserving one cup of pasta cooking water and return it to the pot. Add the roasted tomatoes and their juices to the pasta along with 2 handful of chopped basil. Season with salt and pepper. Add 1 teaspoon red pepper chili flakes, 1 tablespoon chopped parsley and the reserved pasta water. Stir to combine. Add a healthy drizzle of olive oil and top with Burrata cheese that you have ripped up

I love enjoying a good chia pudding as a meal OR a snack. It’s important to look at the components that go into each!

👩 For chia seed pudding meals, I generally add protein powder to boost the pudding up to be between 25-30 g of protein. I also add another source of fat (almonds and almond butter) for some extra satiety.
.
👶 For snacks, I generally try to get two food groups - for the snack sized chia pudding, I have a fat (chia) and a carb (fruit). .
