These exercises emphasize on hip joint stability which is THE most crucial area to work upon for any athlete for injury prevention/injury risk reduction of the knee and ankle joint.

This is where you learn from your previous experiences.⁣⁣

So at 1:15am after being up for 18-hours I took out a piece of paper and SET MY INTENTION for the next day.⁣⁣

I wrote out what needed to be done for both my business and my personal health.⁣⁣

I woke up this morning with a plan because I set my intention last night.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Now it’s time to get back to it! 🔥

There’s an equation – want to lose fat, eat less, want to gain muscle or weight, eat more or maintain – eat what it takes to keep you there too. The point is, eat the right amount of food for body, your needs and your goals. ⁠

Clean Eating gets thrown around a lot when following a DIET or planning to follow one. Typically most people think the whole foods, unprocessed food as “clean”. I’m not discounting that eating nutrient dense food is wise especially for heath but that doesn’t mean that eating some things that are processed are ruining your goals either. Remember the equation - eat the right amount of food for body, your needs and your goals.⁠

Restricting foods and categories (“good/bad”) can become a self-imposed food prison – the guilt one feels that is associated with eating foods that are what – DIRTY if you cross those “boundaries. Yesterday was Leg Day for @iejsmoove and @j3rome.1n.da.hou8e . Harper has a lift competition he has on July 20th at Fort Polk, LA. It'll be his first time participating in one so hopefully he will come in first place for his weight class!! #2DMFit (Full video will be available on our YouTube channel, link in bio)

The Workout consisted of:
Squat: 2 Sets x4 (Warm-Up) & 5 Sets x2 (90% of Max)
Leg Press 1 Set x12, x10, x8, x6

Почему ты не худеешь на дефиците?

Ответ один — у тебя нет дефицита калорий. Все.
⠀
Законы физики работают на всех одинаково, так что ты будешь худеть в любом случае, если в организм энергии поступает меньше, чем тратишь.

А вот причины, по которым у тебя нет дефицита калорий могут быть разными:

🔸 Ты неправильно его высчитала. Мне часто пишут девочки с просьбой помочь, так как они не худеют. А когда я начинаю пересчитывать, выясняется, что цифры то неправильные.
⠀
✔️ Не используйте формулы 31х вес и так далее. Они неточные.
Используйте онлайн калькулятор калорий, но следите, чтобы он использовал формулы Харриса - Бенедикта, либо Миффлина — Сан Жеора. Или считайте вручную. + правильно подбирайте коэффициент активности.

🔸 Не хватает терпения. Вес не уходит за два дня. Да, сначала процесс идет быстрее, но чем дальше, тем медленнее.

🔸 У тебя произошла метаболическая адаптация. В двух словах: организм получает энергии меньше, чем обычно. Он пытается к этому адаптироваться, а значит снижает ваш уровень повседневной активности, чтобы сэкономить энергию на что-то более важное.

✔️ Попробуй чуть увеличить дефицит, только не увлекайся этим)

🔸 Ты придерживаешься большого дефицита, много тренируешься, делаешь много кардио, а потом приходишь домой и начинаешь есть все, что плохо лежит, а остановиться сложно.

When I come to this gym I can always count on juicy leg pumps and girls with wedgies higher than me on April 20th.

On a real note if you’re trying to add size to your legs then you should be training in a higher rep scheme. Around 8-12, but I recommend 10-12 reps. Make sure the weight is heavy enough where you ab at east 2 reps remaining in the tank. Please don’t do your sets to failure because that is a way to set you back. If you do your first set and got 12 reps until failure your second set you are more than likely only going to get 11 the next and then 10 the third, but if you train the way I recommend then you’ll get all your reps with a weight that is heavy enough to stimulate the muscle fibers and still have gas in the tank to hit your required reps. Of course squats are king but don’t be scared to other types of movements.
Try this for a quad and glute focused day. 
Squat: 3x10-12
Hip thrust: 3x10-12
Leg press: 3x10-12
Leg extension: 4x10-12
