I’ll be honest, this has been a tough one for me. Life goes by so fast and I’ve grown so accustomed to speeding through tasks in order to get to the next. During pregnancy, my body has started to change in some very real ways and it has challenged me to slow down. Eating, walking, working out (just to name a few). Being in the moment and reducing my speed has proven to be a valuable tool not only in my pregnancy, but at work and in life. I have been supersetting my lower body movements with an upper body movement. Meaning I do the exercises back to back before resting. I’m really liking it as it cuts down my training time and they are such different muscle groups I feel I can hit both movements with full energy. So here’s this workout.

Cuban Press 3x12

Superset 2
Front Squat 3x12
Dumbbell Pullover 3x15

GUYS!! There are exactly 100 days left in 2019!!!!!!!! They’re going to come and go regardless of what we do with them.

100 days is enough to accomplish A LOT.

You can drop 3 pants sizes.
You can train for a 5k.
You can add muscle and lose body fat.
You can be more confident.
You can do 100 things that scare the crap out of You (1 each day)
You can... So I want to know... WHAT WILL YOU DO WITH IT!??!

A little bit about me 🤙 •


I’m Charlie ✌️ I’ve been loosely following health & fitness as a whole for what seems like forever. I started off watching @officialhodgetwins and found their humour made me want to learn about going to the gym and exercising 💪. I began training and following some loose form of calorie & macro counting. I lost a bunch of weight, made some muscle gains and felt great. I started following other channels on YouTube such as @vitruvian_physique which were very methodical & science based on their approach. I found this all very interesting and continued building on my previous knowledge.

As time progressed, I began falling into bad habits. I was at university and began spending more and more time eating fast food, not exercising etc. I also got into a relationship, and quickly realised that relationships = getting fat 😂

My bad habits and unhealthy lifestyle came to a head when I had a mini stroke, or a TIA at age 21. I’ve since found out this wasn’t caused by my unhealthy habits, but it caused me to take my health a lot more seriously 💪

I took all my previously gained knowledge and focused it into losing weight and feeling healthy. I couldn’t do any resistance training so my main goal was to cut body fat and feel healthier again.

I succeeded & lost over 40+ pounds. I felt myself again and decided to persue a career in health & fitness.

This leads to today...I’m currently completing qualifications in level 2 & 3 personal training, as well as edging closer to surgery that will allow me to lift weights again.

I. Can. Not. Weight. ..get it

So yeah, thanks for reading my autobiography ✌️ hope you didn’t fall asleep too many times. I’ll be using this platform to put my little journey out there, and hopefully provide some good info or inspo 👍 •

Desayuno desayuno .. mi comida favorita ! Porque soy de las que me despierta el estómago para comer ! Me gusta desayunar bien !! Pero bueno hablemos del desayuno !
De entrada te digo que todo es muy relativo ! No come lo mismo una chica que un chico y aún así depende un poco de lo que vayas a hacer luego ! Porque si eres de los que te toca desayunar y no vuelves a comer en mucho vas a tener que hacer una buena comida y más si haces alguna actividad que te demanda mucho gasto energético ! Entonces tu mismo tienes que ser consciente para balancear tu desayuno ! Sabiendo que tienes que ingerir tu proteína , carbohidratos y grasas ( esto cambia dependiendo del régimen alimenticio que lleves )
Dicho esto me imagino que ha quedado claro que un café , un lacao o un croassant de chocolate NO podría ser un desayuno . Aléjate de los alimentos procesados
Y como se que estas esperando que te diga que desayunar te dejo aquí algunas opciones para tener en cuenta :
-Porrigde de avena con un poco de proteína en pollo y frutas -Pancakes con Claras de huevo y frutas -Omelet y sus variaciones , juega con las verduras ! Se creativo tomate, brotes , cebolla , pimientos , salmón , jamón , tiras de pollo -Yogurt natural con frutas -Tostada de pan espelta con huevo y salmón, o pollo y tomate
.. me imagino que vas teniendo ideas ! .. te veo motivado ! Perooooo cuidadito con ponerle ketchup a la tostada y mantequilla de una manera desquiciada, o usar las frutas de manera descontrolada solo porque sea fruta y pienses que el azúcar de la fruta es mejor ! .. come calidad no Cantidad ! .. se racional. Espero que esto te sirva! Así que guárdatelo... y si quieres enseñar a alguien más envíaselo o menciónalo ! El conocimiento es poder ! Y si todos estamos más saludables mejor !💪🏼
