Almost 8 months ago I made the move to LA with complete trust in blind faith. The little voice in my heart and the navigation in my solar plexus, led me to be here with a strong gravitational pull - not knowing what was here for me. Especially since I NEVER ever saw myself living here. And I was extremely solid in that answer.😂 7 weeks later I discovered WHY and ever since then I’ve gotten validation from the Universe everywhereeee that whatever plan is meant for me here, I’m 💯 aligned with the Bigger Picture/Purpose.😇👏🏼

Change is only scary because the brain has 1 sole purpose: To Keep You ALIVE. Anything that doesn’t keep you safe, the brain freaks out. Until we learn how to un-program our programs and create new ones that serve us.

I’m sitting here in such awe and gratitude and thankfulness for everything up to this very moment. The life I am living and working on, I asked for YEARS ago - literally - and it’s just showing up now. It hasn’t been easy and I can’t predict the timing of my timeline. But I walk with a smile because I could have chosen any other way to live my life, and I’m so glad this way chose Me to heal generational wounds, karma, and live into a vision/purpose that is SO much bigger than I am so when my soul continues to evolve back into a physical body here on earth, it doesn’t have to experience nearly as much as we have in previous soul-cycles.💫

“Change is hard!!!! It’s not easy changing habits that are damaging for us🤷🏻‍♀️ I’ll never once say what I did was easy. It was hard freaking work. Throughout this last year I have completely changed my whole lifestyle. I knew going into this that I couldn’t hold onto my current lifestyle because it was killing me, I knew I needed to do a complete 180! I did it in steps....baby steps! I see people trying to make change in their life but it has an end date and they view this change as a temporary “diet.” This is a lifestyle change everyone! For a lot of you that reach out to me, you have a larger amount of weight to lose. Whether you realize it or not, that weight was put on by having a lifestyle that wasn’t ideal for your health. When people say this isn’t a diet it’s a lifestyle they aren’t wrong. If you look at this as a temporary change and that you’ll eat this certain way (whatever way that may be for you) just until I lose the weight, then you may be setting yourself up for regain later on. My point isn’t to judge but more to bring awareness. I’d never judge someone for their food choices, I have no right to! But, if you want my opinion here it is; change your habits, change your life! Get into the habit of feeding yourself a more Whole Foods diet, of course you can still have yummy stuff but try to find NEW ways to treat yourself so you aren’t slipping back into your old habits that got you into this mess in the first place:) it’s not about deprivation, I’m not for that AT ALL! I’m all about finding healthier ways to treat yourself:) this isn’t a diet with an end date! It’s a whole new lifestyle that will support you throughout your life and trust me there’s still tons of deliciousness to be had🖤🖤🖤 you got this guys💪🏻💪🏻”

There’s so much information out there it’s easy to get caught up in the wrong information and 100% believe it. Please, please, please do not believe everything you read online. .

1️⃣ You need to cut all carbs when losing weight. (This is a common one and one I believed myself! You don’t have to cut all carbs to lose weight. You just need to be in a caloric deficit.  Aka 👉🏼 eat less than you burn.)

2️⃣ You have to do a million minutes of cardio to lose weight. (Diet is going to be the major contributor when it comes to weight loss so being in a caloric deficit is important not adding in a million minutes of cardio.)

Almost 5 months post op, and I still have a long road to recovery ahead of me, but I’m so glad to be free of my toxic implants. Similar to the stories of the thousands of other women in my shoes, I spent 8 years in and out of doctors offices trying to determine why my once healthy body was rapidly declining. Some of my worst symptoms were:chronic fatigue, muscle pain, brain fog, insomnia, hair loss, joint pain, peripheral neuropathy, interstitial cystitis, hives, IBS, reoccurring infections, eye floaters, and anxiety/panic attacks. All of these symptoms along with a diagnosis of fibromyalgia occurred within 6months after receiving my implants. I’m still dealing with some symptoms that may take years to recover from, but already I’ve seen such an improvement. If it wasn’t for social media and all of the brave women sharing their stories, I would have never uncovered what was robbing me of my life. Thankfully, the FDA announced that they are working on creating documents to give to new patients informing them of the possibility of breast implant illness. After enduring the hell that is breast implant illness, this announcement gives me some peace knowing that other women will now be informed before they go under the knife. If I had known implants could cause systemic illness, and that they contained a long list of toxic chemicals, I would have never opted to get them in the first place. If you are considering getting breast implants, please educate yourself of the risks. 🍓I know we are all constantly barraged with “the NeW bEsT DiEt” via instagram, the news, and random health sites- it’s hard not to fall victim to them and their “Susan lost 30+ pounds in 2weeks and you can too!!” testimonies. They sound too good to be true (bc they are!). In the majority of these diets people lose weight becAuse they are cutting out foods- leading them to decrease their caloric/energy intake⬇️
🍓 Did you also know the majority of people who lose weight gain it back and more?? It’s a depressing thought that you could put all that effort and work in, only for it to creep back on months or years after. That’s why the diet you choose needs to SUSTAINABLE FOR YOU- nurturing you physically and mentally.
🍓If you love sweets, don’t just up and drop them- because though you can keep that love at bay for a bit, I promise you it will come back with a vengeance😈🍫 .
For me, I found tracking calories and macros IMMENSELY helpful to know how much my body needs, nutrient makeup of foods, portion sizes, and where my sweets and snacks fit in with the whole foods my body needs. As much as I need nutrient rich foods🥗🍠 I want my sweets and snacks to enjoy myself, social outings, and live my best life (aka swipe for that gluten free cake boiiiii)🍦🍕 For my cut currently, I’m tracking calories and protein.

I always have loved spicy food 😍, so much so that I would challenge my dad at Taco Bell to a hot sauce eating contest where we’d tried to down as many packets for FIRE! as possible. Not your style? Good cause idk if my colon could handle it 😉🤪😜. Still, they don’t call me spicy Sarah for nothing!
What I can say is this kimchi fried rice is my go to for comfort food. I usually douse this in half a jar of tahini and I swear it’s soooo perfect. 🥰 If you haven’t had kimchi yet, it is definitely worth a try (even if she is a bit funky!). I love @number1sons (I’m a slave 4 u), but @wildbrine and @milkimchi make excellent versions as well! Who’s on team kimchi?
