For #tastytuesday I have a quick and easy Breakfast soup 🍲 😋  This is a great way to get in some super healing, glycine and collagen rich bone broth. 
1.5 C bone broth. Bring to a boil and throw in 2 eggs. Add salt and any other herbs and spices you like. Lastly throw in some greens, I use chopped bok Choy, and boil for another minute! That easy! Enjoy!

Para mí la desconexión incluye el deporte, ya que este es mi forma de vida y lo hago por gusto y no por obligación. —> ¿También tengo que dejar de bailar o de leer porque esté de vacaciones, por ejemplo? Si algo te apasiona siempre sacas tiempo para ello. Si me seguís por aquí, veréis que estoy disfrutando estas semanas al máximo. Claro que he disminuido el ritmo de entreno, tengo los horarios completamente trastocados y...el cardio ya lo hago bailando todas las noches 😅💃🏽🔥.
Estoy siguiendo una rutina de fuerza con menos ejercicios por sesión y yendo más “al grano”. No bebo nada de alcohol, lo que me permite estar fresca todo el día aunque me acueste tarde. Y, por supuesto, siguiendo una alimentación saludable y permitiéndome algún exceso de vez en cuando. ❣️
¡Disfrutar y pasárselo bien no es incompatible con un estilo de vida saludable! Como siempre digo, la clave está en el balance.

You don't think you can do it? Think again.

I have the WORST endurance ever and when I hike, I go pretty slow... There are times I want to quit and turn around BUT I use that as a reason to challenge myself.

We all have a threshold for endurance, some of us are sprinters, some of us are distance runners. You can build your endurance over time, but for some people (me), you may only build it very slowly... I've been training almost 9 months and I can still barely run 5k without dying. But my sprint recovery has improved tremendously and I can do HIIT fairly easily, that's just me.

When I go on a long and challenging hike, I set small distance goals, especially when climbing uphill. I'll see a spot on the path and te myself to get there before I rest and then I can take a few seconds to recover. I also keep a positive mind getting myself to where I am going.

I have a body that recovers fast and knowing this, I can plan accordingly for every activity I do. Even with running or walking distances, you can use the same plan if you don't know how far you'll make it. Set a goal to get to the park bench by the park and then rest there for a minute (short periods) or even go from a run to walk for a minute and you'll be able to finish far more than you ever thought!

I have the WORST endurance ever and when I hike, I go pretty slow... There are times I want to quit and turn around BUT I use that as a reason to challenge myself.

We all have a threshold for endurance, some of us are sprinters, some of us are distance runners. You can build your endurance over time, but for some people (me), you may only build it very slowly... I've been training almost 9 months and I can still barely run 5k without dying. But my sprint recovery has improved tremendously and I can do HIIT fairly easily, that's just me.

When I go on a long and challenging hike, I set small distance goals, especially when climbing uphill. I'll see a spot on the path and te myself to get there before I rest and then I can take a few seconds to recover. I also keep a positive mind getting myself to where I am going.

I have a body that recovers fast and knowing this, I can plan accordingly for every activity I do. Even with running or walking distances, you can use the same plan if you don't know how far you'll make it. Set a goal to get to the park bench by the park and then rest there for a minute (short periods) or even go from a run to walk for a minute and you'll be able to finish far more than you ever thought!

WOAH 🚨 I think this is the first time I post a picture without zero makeup and it feels gooood! I was sweating my life away because of the pre workout so I left the gym wanting to do more! 😅🍑 (no shame in my faja) I started hitting the gym a little over a month ago since having my baby and I feel strong again, I still have a long way to go but it’s just amazing to see what the body can do as a woman! 👏🏽💪🏽 #postpartumbody #13weekspostpartum #fitmom

TRAVELING + DEVIATING FROM YOUR ROUTINE.

Does this bring anyone else stress? Because I personally feel it in a major way. I wish this weren’t the case, but this is where I am & something that I’m working on.

When it comes to my sleep, work, fitness & eating routines, I’m not the most go-with-the-flow kind of gal. The anticipation of this alone can cause anxiety even a week or two before a trip ... anyone else with me?

Recently I was chatting with a gf about having these feelings around an upcoming vacation, and she was like, “Dale, you’ve already committed. You’re going! The decision has been made - so enjoy it, it’s too late to not.” - SO TRUE ... sometimes it just takes hearing it from someone else. I’m headed to Paris tomorrow and couldn’t be MORE excited for a vacation with some girlfriends. I’m going in with the mentality: those extra croissants and a few less workouts won’t hurt me, but spending all that money and time traveling not to fully enjoy it will.

It will never feel like a vacation if you don’t let your guard down and embrace the change of routine — that’s why we’re there, after all. It also helps me to remember that my everyday routine will be there waiting for me when I’m back. Hope everyone has a great day, and if you’re going somewhere soon, ENJOY IT! bc YOU DESERVE TO. xx #sssssweats

Oil-free Oats-Zucchini Appe/Paniyaram in this rainy weather - a perfect healthy snack for the times when you crave pakodas 😝 Of course, one cannot replace pakodas but when you’re watching your health, these appe/paniyarams make for an amazing snack! ❤️

1 cup oats flour 
2 tbsp semolina
2 tbsp curd
Water as needed
1 cup grated zucchini 
Spices per taste - chopped ginger, green chillies, crushed black pepper, cumin powder, salt. ✨Instructions:✨
1. Mix all ingredients and set the batter aside for 30 mins. 
2. Spoon out the batter in appe pan. Add ghee if needed. Cook well on both sides .
