So the hell what if you don’t have a chopper or a leg hang or you can’t touch your feet to your head! SO WHAT.

If you are in class and are getting discouraged because you can’t do the moves everyone else is doing, find a different way to do it!!!!!! EveryBODY is different and some moves aren’t for everyone. Choppers don’t make or break you. TBH I Hate them. They are hard and kinda ugly.

The reason I thought pole was so amazing was because it gives you the freedom to dance and move how YOU want. I keep hearing of people wanting to quit over not being able to go upside down and invert. What’s worse is that I have heard students criticizing other students for not being further along in their pole journey. Shame. On. You. That ish ain’t cute.

This is supposed to be a community. In all honesty I would rather watch a poler do body rolls who has passion with their movement then see them do a bunch of tricks that A...no one cares about and B... will probably give you arthritis in 5 years.

Being a Pole instructor and seeing tons of students, I have seen a lot of students go through their ups and downs with their relationship with pole and I get it. We have all been there! Pole for YOU. Dance for YOU. Do NOT let one small move make you want to throw in the towel. If you leave class feeling defeated try another instructor who has the same body type as you but don’t you dare give up. #rantover #blackgirlspole pc: @donqphotography

✔️2-3 Sweet potato 🍠 ⁣⁣
✔️2 Chicken breasts 🐓 ⁣⁣
✔️1 can of black beans 🌽⁣⁣
✔️1 bell pepper 🌶 ⁣⁣
✔️Parmesan (how much you want) 🧀 ⁣⁣
✔️Jalapeno (optional) 🌶⁣⁣
✔️Tomato🍅⁣⁣
✔️Onion (green or red one) ⁣⁣
✔️1 Avocado 🥑 ⁣⁣
✔️1 Lime 🍋⁣⁣
✔️Garlic powder⁣⁣

Chicken breast: put some spices and make a “bag” out of backing paper. Put chicken next to potato for another 15-20 min (till it is done). ⁣⁣
After you took it out – tear it apart.⁣⁣

Salsa: Cut tomatoes, onions in small pieces. Put some lime juice on them and mix all together with pepper, salt and chili 🌶. ⁣⁣

Take all ingredients and put them together in layers in the backing form and back to the oven for another 5 Min.⁣⁣

Take the form from the oven and put salsa and 🥑 on the top.⁣⁣
