Using the pleasure of food to constantly make you happy is clearly not healthy. There should be lots of other things in life to bring you happiness. However it’s normal and ok to have moments where that chocolate bar is simply eaten to bring a bit of pleasure.

Jueves de algo dulce, te traigo este riquísimo pancito dulce y fit para los días de antojo. Recuerda agendar una cita para conocer las porciones que tu cuerpo NECESITA consumir de este platillo, seguramente más de las imaginas.
INGREDIENTES 🍓🍶
Avena
Zanahoria
Leche
Fresas
Requesón
Vainilla y canela.
Opcional: splenda o stevia.
PROCEDIMIENTO 
Mezclamos la avena molida con zanahoria rallada y la leche disponible, hasta formar una especie de masa.
La metemos de 2 a 3 minutos al microondas, una vez lista la dejamos enfriar para después cortarla a la mitad y rellenarla con el requesón disponible, decoramos con las fresas y listo.

Hallo ihr Lieben 😊 Ich hatte mal wieder Lust auf etwas gesundes zum Naschen für die Arbeit und deswegen habe ich gestern nach dem Sport noch diese leckeren Carrot Cake Energy Balls gemacht... Wirklich super lecker und schnell gemacht 💕 Ich persönlich liebe ja die Kombi von Möhre, Zimt und Kokos.... Wer noch? Aber eigentlich passen alle Nusssorten sehr gut zu Möhren, finde ich! Habt noch einen schönen Abend!

Für ca. 7 Bällchen benötigt ihr:

100g Karotten (geschält)
40g Datteln 
1/4 TL Zimt
40g Schmelzflocken
20g Kokosrapseln

Gebt die Karotten grob zerkleinert zusammen mit den Datteln, dem Zimt, den Schmelzflocken und den Kokosrapseln in eine Küchenmaschine oder einen guten Mixer und mixt so lange bis die Karotten vollkommen zerkleinert sind (Keksteigkonsistenz). Gebt jeweils 1 großen gehäuften TL von der Masse in eure Hand und formt eine Kugel. Wiederholt diesen Vorgang für alle Kugeln und lagert die Kugeln im Kühlschrank.

Rice cakes can get pretty boring, and many people may find them to be pretty tasteless! That’s why I love to add toppings depending on if I’m in a SWEET or SAVORY mood! 💁‍♀️

Here are 6 of my favorite toppings that come to under 100 cals ( rice cakes included!) I also enjoy eating corn cakes instead of rice cakes, as I find them to be tastier!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. 🌶Red pepper hummus & sesame: I place 1 tbsp or home-made red pepper hummus, a small sprinkle ( roughly 1/4 tbsp) sesame seeds, and freshly chopped peppers on top! This comes in at roughly 75 calories per serving and is super tasty! 
2. 🍰Blueberry cheesecake: I have this almost every day, and place 1 tbsp of smooth cottage cheese on a rice cake. I then top it off with roughly 20g blueberries and 1 tsp of honey! This is roughly 69 calories. 
3. 🥒Feta and cucumber: For those days that you just feel like something light and refreshing! I place 50g fat free danish feta on the rice cake, and top it off with thin cucumber slices, sea salt and black pepper. For only 67 calories. 
4. 🍯Salted caramel: for those days that my sweet-tooth is calling me- this is my go to! I smeer half a tablespoon of cashew butter onto a rice cake, and chop 1/4 - 1/2 medjool date and sprinkle cinnamon. A great snack at only 86 calories 
5. 🍫Chocolate almond butter: when I’m craving something chocolatey this satisfies my craving every time! I make my own chocolate almond butter with roasted almonds, raw cocoa, sea-salt and honey! I place 2 tsps choc almond butter, and top it off with 1-2 chopped almonds for that extra crunch. An excellent treat coming at 97 calories
6. 🧀 CAPRESE: Absolutely delicious, especially if you’re a caprese salad fan! I place two thin slice of tomatoe, 20g mozzarella, fresh basil, oregano and balsamic reduction. Coming in at roughly 84 calories. *calories may vary according to different brands used!

Tra i pesci la razza risulta l'alimento meno proteico, il merluzzo quello più magro, il tonno quello più proteico, il salmone e l'anguilla i più grassi, l'aringa quello con il più alto contenuto di creatina .
Crostacei e molluschi, pur contenendo discrete quantità di colesterolo, sono praticamente privi di grassi saturi e ricchi di grassi insaturi. In ogni caso il loro contenuto lipidico è modesto (1-3%).
Le cozze e le ostriche sono ricche di ferro e di vitamina C. 
Si è calcolato che occorrono circa 2-3 ore per la digestione dei pesci molto magri, 3 o 4 per la digestione dei pesi semigrassi e grassi; in genere i pesci d'acqua dolce sono più digeribili mentre i molluschi risultano spesso di difficile digestione.
Oltre che in base al loro contenuto di grasso i pesci vengono classificati anche in relazione alla provenienza (di mare e di acqua dolce) .
Dal punto di vista nutrizionale il miglior pesce è quello azzurro, chiamato così dal colore del dorso. Questo pesce, che vive nelle acque del mediterraneo, è generalmente più saporito e ricco di acidi grassi polinsaturi.

Not only is this 🍑 froyo full of peachy goodness, it also needs ONLY 4 ingredients: ✔️ frozen peaches

I know how boring this looks, but you’d be surprised. (I accidentally took the photo before adding the chicken juices too, which make it sooo much tastier :)).

I call this Easy Chicken, recipe compliments of the family I nannied for in NYC. You’ll thank me later 😜.
Recipe below⬇️⬇️⬇️! .

.
1. Preheat oven to 450
2. In a deep foil pan, place 1T kosher salt in each corner, then lay a whole chicken on its back in the center (do not add any seasoning or oil). 3. Cook chicken for 1 hour, uncovered, then turn oven to 350 and cook for another 30 minutes. 
4. While chicken is cooking, make sushi rice in a rice maker and prepare a single layer of broccoli on a baking sheet, drizzle with EVOO and salt and pepper. 
5. For last 20 minutes of cooking the chicken, add pan of broccoli to oven to roast. 
6. Remove chicken from oven and place onto a cutting board, allowing juices to run out of the chicken before removing from the pan.
7. Carefully pour remaining juices (without running through the salty corners) into a large measuring cup or gravy dish. 
8. Carve chicken and serve over rice with broccoli. Pour juices over everything and ENJOY! .

Si bien mi manera de cocinar no es la más #fitness ya que no peso la comida ni se cuantas calorías tiene cada alimento, me ha llevado a poco a poco ir perdiendo eso muchos kilos de más . .

Además de bajar de peso esta forma de alimentarme me permite comer #dulces #pizza #hamburgesa #chocolate en fin cualquier comida sin miedo al terrible #efectorebote, tampoco me siento presionada mentalmente ni como con culpa, como lo que me provoque y sobretodo como sabroso... Sigo sin ser #fit pero cada día menos #fat Jajajajajja . .

Ingredientes :
2 Ovos inteiros
2 Cenouras grandes, raladas
1 colher de (chá) de Fermento em pó
Aproximadamente 1 xícara de (café) de Farinha de Aveia ou outra do tipo á sua escolha 
Sal

Modo de Preparo :
Bata os ovos até ficarem homogêneos, acrescente o sal , coloque as cenouras raladas e adicione a farinha, aos poucos, tomando cuidado para nao engrossar muito. 
Frite os bolinhos, colocando-os no óleo já quente , quando dourados, retire-os da panela e escorra no papel toalha .

1 zanahoria también licuada con poquita agua
1/2 plátano (apachurralo con un tenedor en un contenedor aparte)
1 paquetito de stevia

1 chorrito de vainilla

1 zanahoria también licuada con poquita agua
1/2 plátano (apachurralo con un tenedor en un contenedor aparte)
1 paquetito de stevia
1/2 tza de agua natural o leche
1 huevo
1 chorrito de vainilla

Preparacion:
Mezcla todos los húmedos (huevo, leche o agua, huevo, vainilla, plátano machacado)
Y después incorpora los secos (harina de avena, stevia)

La mezcla colocala en porciones en la sartén y listo!!!

Add the ghee, Cook the Pattie, dont not touch for 3 minutes.
4. Sauté the mushrooms and spinach until wilted on the other side  around 3 minutes.
5. Turn over Pattie and repeat ^ 3 Minutes do not touch or fiddle! Otherwise will not create a crust and will stick and break!
6.
Slice an avocado 🥑 
7.
Turn heat off and place a spinach a spinach leaf like a wrap or use collard green or lettuce wrap, whatever is at your disposal!
8.
Season to taste, Tuck in and enjoy!
Add some tomatoes for some freshness & herbs 🌿

Voici la recette de mes frites de #panisse accompagnés d’une mayonnaise végétale 🌱 »! 😊 ⠀
💁🏻‍♀️ Quand je peux réaliser une recette sans friture, je fonce tête baissée. D’une part parce que je n’aime vraiment pas l’odeur de la friture qui persiste dans ma maison suite à son utilisation, et d’autre part parce que je digère mieux les aliments s’ils ne sont pas frits.

⠀ ☀️ Frites de panisse et sa mayonnaise végétale ⠀
📝 Ingrédients :
⠀
⠀pour les frites de panisses :
- 13o g de farine de pois chiche @primeal_fr - 50 cl d’eau
- 1 cac de curry
- Huile d’olive - Herbes de Provence - 1 pincée de sel et de poivre 
Pour la mayo :
- 8 cas d’huile d’olive - 4 cas de crème végétale de votre choix
- 2 cas de moutarde forte
⠀ 👩‍🍳Préparez les frites : versez l’eau, une cuillère à soupe d’huile, le curry, le sel et le poivre dans une casserole et portez à ébullition. Ajoutez la farine et mélangez au fouet vigoureusement. Ôtez du feu et battez la préparation au fouet électrique afin d’éviter les grumeaux. Puis versez la pâte dans un moule carré de 20 cm avec du papier sulfurisé. Laissez refroidir au frigo pendant deux heures.
Préparez la mayonnaise, versez les ingrédients dans un bol et faites monter la préparation au fouet électrique. Placez au frigo une heure. Préchauffez le four à 200°. Sortez la pâte du frigo et taillez 18 bâtonnets. Répartissez-les sur une plaque recouverte de papier sulfurisé. Badigeonnez d’huile d’olive et soupoudrez d’herbe de Provence. Enfourner 20 minutes. Servez les frites chaudes avec la mayonnaise.
Et j’ai accompagné ça de frites de patates douces et de salade ! Plat maxiiiiii gourmand !

I want to keep you from making the same mistakes I did when I was younger. Starving yourself all day only to binge later at night won’t leave you feeling good! Not to mention all the hormonal issues and health issues that arise when we eat too little.

Losing weight the healthy way may take more time but it will leave you feeling so much better overall! Eating in a slight calorie deficit while paying attention to the quality of our food, getting movement in, hydrating and picking up healthy habits along the way is where the magic happens. Here are my tips on how to lose weight the healthy way:

1️⃣ Stop drinking your calories, aside from low sugar kombuchas, actually green green juices (mostly veggies), & high quality protein shakes. Aka get rid of the juices, fruit smoothies, sodas, sugary coffee drinks etc
2️⃣ Limit the processed foods you eat.
3️⃣ Add tons of veggies to your dishes! This will add loads of volume.
4️⃣ Make sure you’re getting an adequate amount of protein. This will help you feel full.
5️⃣ Add in some healthy fats. Fats are super important for the absorption of certain vitamins & important for overall health.
6️⃣ Find the right amount of whole food carbs for you. You definitely shouldn’t fear carbs either! Pick whole food ones like sweet potatoes, potatoes, fruit, rice & beans and you’re on the right track!

I said I was going to be real, so here it is! 
I am literally always BLOATED. I have celiacs disease, so my insides do not like it when I go out to eat (cross contamination). When I’m bloated, it’s painfully obvious because I’m really short, so I have always had insecurities about this, but I LOVE going out to eat. Because I don’t believe in deprivation all day every day, I choose to battle my bloat occasionally with other methods so that I can have a little fun •

1. HOT LEMON WATER : everyone and their mom does this, because it works! Mostly because when water is warm you can easily drink more of it, which drains some of that water retention! 
2. ENZYMEDICA DIGESTION CAPSULS : enzymedica Is an over the counter brand of enzymes that assist in breaking down foods for better digestion. I use these on a daily basis because I’m so sensitive to carbs and such. They make one called “glutenese” which helps break down gluten and casein! Good stuff 
3. GAIA GAS & BLOATING TEA : my go-to when I’m really struggling, I get almost instant relief from pesky gas bubbles and the warm tea makes my stomach feel amazing!

Oh, how times have changed. The nacho cheese containers replaced with fresh jars of fruits + veggies. The frozen pizza replaced with prepped chicken breasts. Pudding cups with unsweetened applesauce. Shall I continue?! 🤷‍♀️

➡️➡️ We DID NOT go cold turkey and completely transform our nutrition. Nor have we perfected it. BUT - we knew we needed a change so we took action. One small change at a time. We dove into a nutrition program that taught us about food, habits and provided a foundation to make those changes “less scary”. After we increased our knowledge and started to connect nutrition + food to how we felt - we started using common vocabulary and sharing our changes with our kiddos too. 🙌🏻

If you could sit next to ANYONE on a 3 hour flight, who would you pick? 🤔

This came to mind on my flight to DC yesterday, as I had an open seat next to me and pondered this… 💭
.
It was a tough one.
.
💭There are leaders, dead and alive, I’d love to have a 3 hr conversation with
💭There are famous athletes and entertainers I’ve always wanted to meet and would love to sit next to
💭There are longtime friends I don’t see as often as I’d like who I’d love to catch up with for a few hours
💭But then there’s my brother, Tyler
.
As many of you know, Tyler and I were 2 yrs apart. “You were more than just a brother to me. You were my best friend,” he said in his last text to me, minutes before pulling the trigger, making a decision everyone else would have to live with. ❤️
.
We were always close. He was my little brother, we played on the same sports teams, we went to college together, and we had many of the same friends. He was☝🏼of my best friends.
.
But we never talked about it. I never knew I was☝🏼of his...not until it was too late.
.
This left me in a whirlwind of emotion. I immediately wondered where I fell short as a big brother—as a best friend, that he couldn’t talk to me. This was hard to live with for some time, and it still beats me up today. What could I have done better? Should I have been there for him when I wasn’t? 🤦🏼‍♂️
.
I was asleep for that text and woke up 3 hours later...3 hours late (another reason for guilt I wasn’t there when I should have been).
.
I’ve since come to peace with this and no longer feel the guilt, but that’s because I’ve reframed it into something bigger—something so much bigger than myself.
.
I reframed that into a:
.
⚡️VISION: That EVERY SINGLE PERSON has someone in their corner
⚡️MISSION: To never miss an opportunity to BE THAT SOMEONE
.
I’ve chosen nutrition coaching 🥦👨🏼‍🏫 as my way to get into your corner—to get my foot in the door, but at the end of the day, its not just about the nutrition. That’s part of it, but it’s so much more. It’s about being your best self. Sometimes we need the help of someone else to find that, and that’s okay.

Form a Pattie or use a Pattie maker like I did ;-)
2.
Preheat cast iron pan to medium high
3.
Add the ghee, Cook the Pattie, dont not touch for 3 minutes.
4. Sauté the mushrooms and spinach until wilted on the other side  around 3 minutes.
5. Turn over Pattie and repeat ^ 3 Minutes do not touch or fiddle! Otherwise will not create a crust and will stick and break!
6.
Slice an avocado 🥑 
7.
Turn heat off and place a spinach a spinach leaf like a wrap or use collard green or lettuce wrap, whatever is at your disposal!
8.
Season to taste, Tuck in and enjoy!
Add some tomatoes for some freshness & herbs 🌿

✔️200 grs de chocolate 70% derretido (uso da @chocolifealimentosfuncionais)
✔️1 e meia xícara de creme de leite fresco (ou de caixinha se preferir)

Recheio:

✔️2 xícaras de pasta de amendoim integral (uso a pasta de amendoim crocante da @power1one)
✔️Meia xícara de creme de leite fresco (ou de caixinha)
✔️2 colheres de sopa cheias de xylitol (ou o que preferir para adoçar

👉🏼Mistute o creme de leite no chocolate derretido e mexe até ficar homogêneo.
Coloque metade do creme de chocolate no fundo de uma forma.
.
Mistute todos os ingredientes do recheio.
Coloque sobre o creme de chocolate e cubra com o restante do chocolate.
Leve a geladeira para firmar. Uma média de 2 horas.
Fatiar e servir.
Manter na geladeira.

Gluten-free french crepes 💗 vegan & refined sugar-free 🌱 
Our all time favourite french crepes recipe! They are so light, thin, crispy on the edges and so delicious! Hope you’ll like it and give it a try ☺️

Make using Organic gluten free all purpose flour from @earthnutri ♥️

Recipe 
1 3/4 cups organic gluten free all purpose flour @earthnutri 
3 tbsp cornstarch
2 1/4 cups unsweetened soy milk 
3 tbsp coconut oil
3 tbsp date maple syrup 
1 tsp vanilla bean extract
Pinch of salt
Instructions
Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Transfer to a bowl.
Heat a large pan over medium-high heat. Grease the pan really well with coconut oil. 
Remove pan from heat. Pour a small ladleful of batter in the pan and swirl the pan around to evenly coat the bottom with the batter.
Return the pan to heat. Leave to cook until you see the edges start to crisp up and turning brown. Then loosen with a spatula and flip. And cook until spottily brown on the other side. 
Serve straight with toppings of choice.
