Confession time.  I ran intervals today.  I'm having a hard time reigning back with this half marathon training.  It's been 2 months since I've run more than a  mile.  Today felt right.  My heart needed this.  I know Dr's orders and I know I shouldn't have run.  But dammit this girl needed to run today!  My pace felt good.  A nice steady 9:15 to 9:30.  Nothing felt like an effort. 
But... I know I can't keep doing this.  I don't have the pain when running but I can tell after that there's a little niggle of something still. 
So kids... this is a classic case of nurses make the worst patients.  Or why orthopedic doctors hate having runners as patients.  There's just something that is impossible to explain about the feeling of being disconnected from everything except for your own thoughts, music, and the feeling of sweat, sun, rain, breezes, and the beauty of the world around you. 
There are jokes about this sort of thing.  Even post heart attack patients that are runners can't wait to get back out and pound out miles.  Right @alex_evolving

Un drop set semplice semplice.
Pacco pesi completo e poi un drop del 50%. In questo periodo il programma si adatta un po' a quello che trovo nei centri dove mi vado ad allenare, oltre ad adattarlo al clima che è forse il meno indicato per tenere il piede a tavoletta sull'acceleratore, tuttavia, devo dire che anche questo serve.
Punto sull'intensità e cerco anche di tenere l'allenamento quanto più denso possibile.

These are the chipotle flavored kabobs. GREAT flavor and excellent quality chicken breast meat! Entire package for 1 point, but I could only eat 2 before I was stuffed full!🤤🤤

How I feel about being back in the gym after a week & a half!🤪🤪! I did a quick & easy full body workout to slowly ease myself back into the rhythm of things☺️ I thought college would never return but here we are🙃. I’m struggling to figure out a set time to go to the gym everyday with classes going on and all. Between now and the next week I’m really going to be working on balance. Guilt is an ugly thing. It makes you feel like a failure and like you aren’t enough. It makes you believe that your feelings are not valid. 
The guilt I feel is for feeling like I want to run away. I’m constantly always taking care of someone or something, but I really just want to be taken care of for once. It makes me feel weak, but they’re my feelings. 
If you’ve been watching my stories, I’ve had quite a bit going on for the past month or so and not a lot of time for dates with my husband or me time. Those things are ESSENTIAL for mental health. 
My favorite analogy came from @msrachelhollis in her newest book when she talked about being a vase. 
We start to fill ourselves up, but we are constantly tipping over to help fill those around us. What happens when the vase rips too much? It shatters. 
𝑩𝑼𝑻 if you allow yourself to be filled fully, by taking care of you and your needs and making yourself a priority, your vase will 𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒇𝒍𝒐𝒘 and spill onto those around you. 
I’m looking at you, friend. You’ve tried so hard to make everyone else around you happy that you are forgetting about one person: YOU. 
It’s not selfish. You aren’t weak. You aren’t a failure. You are normal. You are needed. You are respected. So take care of you. .

Wenn man etwas für ein gutes Bild extra was ausprobiert, was man sonst niemals macht und dabei ein fail entsteht. Ich bleib lieber beim klassischen Bodybuilding, functional Training interessiert mich jedoch trotzdem und es gibt sicher eine Zeitspanne im Leben in dem ich regelmässig funktionell trainieren werde. Eine andere Sportart die ich ganz sicher im Leben ausüben werde ist klassisches Boxen, es fasziniert mich extrem. Jedoch möchte ich mich aktuell noch 100% auf Bodybuilding fokussieren.

Since my dad passing he hasn’t seen me lose the other 4 stone I have lost!. Which is quite upsetting in a way as he was the one who asked me to try #slimmingworld out, he would of been so proud of me!, since his passing last year, I have met 5 incredible people who all remind me of my dad in little ways, I love it!. I been MIA for a few weeks. I took a mini mental break/vacay & went on my bachelorette party. & let me tell ya i had a freakin’ blast with some pretty amazing people. sometimes we focus so heavy on results and hitting targets that we forget to take care of OURSELVES. I cannot stress how important it is to take good care of yourself. I truly believe that you can’t accomplish your goals and fight for your dreams when your mental state/well being are compromised. Take that time to focus on yourself, meditate, do some yoga, take a nature walk, cry if you want to, eat your favorite food! Whatever your soul needs, DO IT! Remember that you can’t pour from an empty cup! 💝💪🏾

Find a way out!

When we are stuck in any crisis situation, we are always left with two choices. 
Either we can cry about it or change it.
.
You can easily choose the first option and be depressed about it and put the blame on the situation instead of taking responsibility for it.
.
It will satisfy your inner ego that "yes, something bad happened to me and It should not have happened, blah, blah, blah" .
But, deep down inside you will always know that there was something more you could have done. This regret will always be inside you.
.
Or
.
You can choose the second option and find a way out. It will be really difficult, tiering but it will take out your real character.
.
You have to grind your way out. You will fail many times. But at least you can face yourself in the mirror and be satisfied.
.
To give you an example...
I am facing the same situation in life.
I am currently going through a shoulder injury and cannot work on my upper body.
I could have easily sat at home and cried about the situation.
.
No, but I can't do that.
So I thought if I can't work on my upper body,  will work on my lower body.
I can make my legs, glutes, lower back strong.
I can add extra cardio and lose some fat.
So, I started working on my lower body.
This was me finding a way out...
.
What will you choose?

Watermelons are both a fruit and a vegetable.  Unlike some of my friends who are just fruits.
Watermelons are the official state vegetable of Oklahoma.  Because of course they are.

2. To spread positivity and encouragement
Additionally:
3. To share my love for art and nature
4. Be a positive social media example to people but especially to young girls
I’m not on this page to seek men, to see comments like “love your feet”, “marry me”, “you’re sexy”, and other comments that I would never even repeat. NO. 🙅🏻‍♀️
But rather, I try to use my platform to transmit a message that we can all relate to. With that being said…. It’s very difficult to cut out the noise that is trying to distract you from your goals but the best thing you can do is take a step back and REFOCUS 👀 on your reason and go at it again. Block the negative comments, stares, and actions that surround you and continue your journey. If you believe in it… there should be no stopping you! ✊🏼💪🏼❤️ #sidekickchick  #kicksaroundtheworld
