Heading out on a long drive to North Carolina tomorrow and need some road trip snacks. Seriously, this is how I get behind “eat your colors”...😂😂. I love all kinds of fruit and there are a few of my faves shown here. A fruit pizza is basically a giant cookie topped w some great cream cheese icing and yummy fresh fruit. A dessert that is as refreshing as it is tasty!
I can only have one piece it’s super sweet and only a treat for special occasions, because it’s about food freedom and life balance ❤️

🥘 PRE-WORKOUT POWER!!! This is my pre workout meal. Kinda like a pasta stew?
I am having pasta shells with chicken breast. Broccoli. Tomato. Onion. Topped with cheddar cheese. For seasoning I used red onion flakes. Smoked chilli flakes. Roasted garlic granules. Black peppercorns. Three different types of salts. (Kalahari dessert salt on pasta) (pink Himalayan & Sea Salt on chicken stew)
I personally don't use any pre workout supplements. Only nutrition.💪🏽 #instameezy .

Pasta e fagioli (pasta con alubias)🍝🍅🌱
RECETA:
▫️Hervir macarrones integrales.
▫️Sofreir 3 ajos lamimados con 1 cebolla troeceada y 1 hoja de laurel. Añadir 2 zanahorias y 3 ramas de apio picado finamente. Cuando las verduras esten al dente añadir 8 tomates secos troceados, 400g de tomate pelado y troceado y oregano seco.
▫️Cocinar durante 10-15 minutos a fuego medio. Por ultimo añadir 400g de alubias cocidas y dejar en el fuego 10 minutos mas. Añadir los macarrones.

Penelitian dan pengembangan teh sebagai alternatif obat herbal pencegah kanker memang sudah banyak dilakukan

Teh hijau dipercayai bisa mengatasi kanker karena mengandung Epigallocatechin Gallate (EGCG). EGCG merupakan suatu antioksidan luar biasa yang memiliki kekuatan 100 kali lebih besar dibandingkan vitamin C, dan 25 kali lebih besar dibandingkan vitamin E. Vitamin C dan vitamin E dikenal sebagai antioksidan pencegah penyakit kanker.
“Jika dibandingkan resveratrol, antioksidan tinggi dari buah anggur, EGCG dari teh hijau ini memiliki tingkatan antioksidan yang lebih tinggi,” papar guru besar Fakultas Farmasi ini.

Minum teh sudah menjadi kebiasaan di kalangan masyarakat. Kesempatan itu ditangkap oleh Prof. Dr. H. Djoko Agus Purwanto, Apt., MSi, Ketua Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (LPPM) Universitas Airlangga untuk mengembangkan obat antikanker. Dari tangan Djoko, teh tidak hanya menjadi minuman sehari-hari, melainkan juga sebagai obat pencegah dan penyembuh kanker.

Di daerah Jepang, di Soka, itu daerah yang insiden kankernya paling rendah di dunia. Didapati bahwa orang-orang di situ punya kegemaran minum teh, terutama teh hijau,” tutur Djoko saat ditemui WARTA UNAIR di kantor LPPM.

🌱 Cilantro Lime Shrimp Salad 🥗 •Lettuce
•Tomato
•Cucumber •Corn
•Avocado •Shrimp 👩🏻‍🍳 For the Dressing: •1/3 cup seasoned rice vinegar
•1/4 cup fresh lime juice
•2 tablespoons honey
•1 clove garlic, minced
•1 1/2 teaspoons minced canned chipotle in adobo sauce
•1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
•3/4 cup canola oil
•1 cup tightly packed fresh cilantro leaves and stems

Food diary by @ljadeparker! All my meals & snacks for the day made from this week's meal prep ⬇ Really believe that healthy eating doesn't have to be boring!

◾Breakfast 645 AM - Egg & turkey bacon scramble + rye toast and coffee ☕ Scramble is made with an egg, egg whites, bell peppers, two pieces of bacon 🥓 then topped with pico de gallo!

◾Snack 945 AM - Chocolate sea salt
_
◾Lunch 1245 PM - Turkey sausage, roasted sweet potatoes with rosemary + avocado oil & steamed asparagus
_
◾Snack 330 PM - Veggies & hummus, mixed nuts, green tea + honey
_
◾Dinner 700 PM - Tangy orange chicken 🍊 with brown jasmine rice, sweet & sour cabbage and cucumbers for my postworkout meal

◾Snack 800 PM - 1/2 a pint of dairy free peanut butter cup

Who else is a huge mushroom fan? I certainly am, and that’s why I’ve just shared a recipe for these miso glazed mushrooms on my blog. They are so flavourful, easy to make and a perfect side dish for Christmas and Thanksgiving now that we’re all looking for ideas. The link is in my stories and bio.
