Sometimes.....we fight with the world....the abuse...the tortures...the betrayal....the humiliations.....and then we need that most important person of our life to be with us working as a shield, protecting us from those storms that we are facing but the saddest part of the story is we don't get that person beside us...and all those abuses,humiliations,betrayals,tortures and the pain of not getting that person beside us, all these pains creates a hurricane inside our heart which destroys us from inside....

I'm officially a Mental Health First Aid Responder! Loved the idea of having a course about not physical first aid and CPR, but one devoted to first aid of the mental health. "I can't go see a therapist, what will my family think of me?"... "No, my father told me I just need to have stronger faith in God"... "I'm not crazy, I just need to get over this"... These are the answers I get all the time. I see patients affected by the stigma that society has of mental health. Especially here in the middle east region, it's difficult to get patients to open up and to have their loved ones recognize they need help. 
When we see someone with a physical condition like a broken bone, we are eager to send them to see a doctor. A mental illness should be treated the same way, except the symptom is not as obvious as a broken bone. 
And this is where increasing awareness of mental health becomes crucial. Because most of us will end up knowing someone experiencing a mental health issue and can direct them to get the right help. It’s so hard when someone says “just let it go”.. Do not beat yourself up if you can’t just “let it go”. It might seem dumb and “won’t work for you” but just try.

Reposting our picture from a few months ago because today is GCSE results day in the UK which means tones of (mostly) 16 year olds have to face a day which they have been pressured to succeed on for the last 16 years of their life. On our country the education system 'prepare' kids from the age of 4 for their GCSES as if nothing else is as important as the piece of paper they receive today. That pressure gets to a lot of people and for some it can get too much. YOUR GRADES DO NOT DEFINE YOUR WORTH. If you're reading this and you've recieved your results you need to know that regardless of what they say good or bad you are still important. You are still worthy of every happiness, every success, ever love, ever dream, ambition, goal you might have. These results do not need to define you or you life. You should be proud of yourself. You tried really hard, you did your best and thats enough. The fact you even sat those 17-25 or however many exams you did in as little as 3 weeks is amazing. Take  a second to be proud of yourself for dealing with that, for processing the pressure, stress and intensity of exams as well as actually doing and remembering everything for them. That is INCREDIBLE. You are able, you are intelligent, you have a future.
