Lo prometido es deuda, os dejo el recetón de esta Crema de Guisantes tan deliciosa y sencilla a la vez👌🏽 Ingredientes:
▪️2 o 3 puerros (depende de la medida)
▪️500 grs de guisantes congelados❄️
▪️500 ml de caldo de pollo
▪️50 ml de avoe
▪️Sal
▪️Pimienta

Pasos:
1. Con la @thermomixespana : Añadimos la parte blanca de los puerros cortadita a trozos, los guisantes, la sal, y el caldo de pollo. Programamos 25’ a temperatura 100° y velocidad 1. Finalmente añadimos el avoe y trituramos progresivamente a velocidad 5 hasta llegar a 10. La servimos caliente y añadimos la pimienta y un poco de avoe.
2. Sin Thermomix: añadimos la parte blanca de los puerros, los guisantes, la sal y el caldo de pollo en una olla y lo dejamos cocer durante 35’. Añadimos el avoe y trituramos con el minipimer o batidora hasta conseguir una textura cremosa. Y finalmente, una vez en el plato, añadimos la pimienta. ¿A qué esperáis? En casa se ha convertido en un “must” por lo menos un día a la semana🤩

The NEW SMASHIN’ CHICKPEA SANDWICH 🥪 🌱💪!!⠀

Came home to try the new Wicked Kitchen sandwich. Decided it was a good opportunity to take photos of it. I jumped in BC I was feeling dull and needed to make fun of myself and everything I do! ⠀
Then I saw a squirrel outside. Then I had to make sure that squirrel saw me. He did, we’re all good. Then I got back to eating my sandwich. It’s a really great sandwich with pesto and avo-mayo and those chickpeas are something else and good for pre or post gym sessions. My favorite thing about it aside from it tasting great is the simplicity of it. Delicious flavors and no freakin animals needed! Simple, easy and much better for the world 🌱💪. The sooner the world goes plant based the sooner I can go back to the woods with the squirrels 🐿.⠀

Ρεβιθοσαλάτα (περίπου 400 kcals)! Για 2 Μερίδες θα χρειαστείτε:
🥄 200 γρ ρεβίθια αποφλοιωμένα 🥄 1 σκελίδα σκόρδο 🥄 ½ λεμόνι (ο χυμός και το ξύσμα του) 🥄 λίγο αλάτι 🥄 2 κτ.σ λάδι 🥄 μαϊντανός ψιλοκομμένος
Εκτέλεση
1️⃣ Βράστε τα ρεβίθια και κρατήστε τον ζωμό τους.
2️⃣ Λιώστε τα με ένα πιρούνι ή περάστε τα στον μύλο του πουρέ
3️⃣ Βάλτε τα σε ένα μπολ και προσθέστε χυμό και ξύσμα ενός λεμονιού, λίγο αλάτι, το τριμμένο σκόρδο κ το λάδι.
4️⃣ Ανακατέψτε τα προσθέτοντας σιγά σιγά ζωμό από τα ρεβίθια μέχρι να γίνει αλοιφή.
5️⃣ Σερβίρετε και πασπαλίστε με τον ψιλοκομμένο μαϊντανό.

🌱🌱ROASTED CHICKPEAS recipe

🥣Soak channa/chickpeas for 4+ hours, make sure they look plump.
Cook them for around 10-15 minutes and let cool. add 4-5 tablespoons of sesame oil and slightly roast the chickpeas, then add spices of your choice.

I've used:
🥄Half a tspn of turmeric
🥄1 tspn chilli powder
🥄1 tspn cumin powder
🥄1 tspn garam masala
🥄 salt (according to preference)
🍀🗒garnish with lemon juice, mint leaves-optional .

Vegan chili 🤩 (apologies about the photo but this is the only one I took and it was cold out the fridge 🤣, looks a lot better warmed up I promise!)

So.......I am going to try and do veganuary next year (for those of you that don’t know what that is ➡️ vegan + January= veganuary!).
For that reason I will be doing a lot more vegan dishes so that I know what I am doing when January comes around ha ha!
I am also doing it because I am conscious of the amount of meat I eat and am trying to see, if I reduce my animal products intake, will I feel any better? 👌🏻

-Tamarind Water/Imli Paani 1 cup
-Tomato Puree 1 cup
-Chole Masala 2.5 tsp
-Dried Fenugreek/Kasuri Methi 1 tsp
-Cinnamon/Dalchini 1
-Salt/Namak to taste
-Turmeric/Haldi 1/2 tsp
-Coriander/Dhaniya Powder 1 tsp

How do you reuse your bamboo toothbrushes before removing the nylon bristles and putting them in the compost or green bin? 🌱
I do what I used to do with plastic toothbrushes; use them to clean grubby grout! Here's my bathroom floor but I also clean my shower grout, kitchen splashback grout, living room floor grout... how annoying is grout! 😂 I have recently moved to using my homemade multipurpose spray made from leaving orange skins in white vinegar in a glass jar for a month or so then added ratio 1:10 to water in repurposed spray bottle 😎

But this week I needed a little sign to label and stake to hold up my chickpea seedling so I chose to repurpose one of my toothbrushes! 😂

One of my all time favorite is " Hummus & Pita bread "
Better than mayo and other sauces available in the market !!
The only major difference between hummuses lies in how much cumin and tahini, or sesame paste, is used. Turkish hummus substitutes butter for olive oil. And sometimes small amounts of Greek yogurt and hot peppers can be added. But hummus is almost always the marriage of chickpeas, sesame paste, lemon juice and garlic.

Chocolate covered crispy chickpeas! Sounds odd but they were strangely addictive. Spotted in @asda & couldn’t resist trying them. By @mysweetchickpea. They’re GF & vegan & there was a choice of 3 types. I’ve had crispy chickpeas before – they’re quite savoury, so I was intrigued how they would work with the chocolate coating.

They had a very dark almost black appearance & a very glossy finish. Biting into one it’s firm without being crisp. Thick sweet dark chocolate before the crumbly slightly chalky chickpea is revealed inside. I was expecting them to be crispy, but they’re not. The chocolate has quite a distinctive sugary sweetness to it which I suppose is in contrast to the natural savoury chickpea inside. I wasn’t sure about them at first, but they were intriguingly moreish.🙂 I would have preferred a darker more bitter chocolaty coating as this was quite sugary but that’s a personal taste.
Have you tried them? Would you? They also come in coconut & cappuccino dark choc flavours too. 🌰

Place chickpeas in air fryer for around 10-15 minutes at 350 degrees. Keep checking on them and giving them a toss around make sure they get the same amount of cooking on all sides. For the sauce, simply combine all of the ingredients and mix well. Taste it make sure it’s to your liking. Once the chickpeas are ready they should have a little crunch on the outside and still soft in the middle. Warm a little of your sauce over low heat and toss the chickpeas in there to get them nice and coated. Serve with your favorite sides and dig in!⁣

Chickpea Spinach Pizza by @elavegan 💛 A cheesy and delicious vegan pizza recipe to try out!

Recipe:
2 Servings⠀
Ingredients⠀
Crust⠀
1 batch of gluten-free pizza crust (or crust of choice)⠀
Sauce⠀
2 tbsp olive oil or any other oil (divided)⠀
1/2 cup tomato sauce ⠀
4 tbsp coconut milk canned (or any other plant-based milk)⠀
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)⠀
1 tbsp hot sauce (or more/less to taste)⠀
1 tsp coconut sugar (or regular sugar)⠀
spice mix (1 tsp each of smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder)⠀
sea salt and pepper to taste⠀
Other ingredients⠀
1 batch of vegan cheese sauce⠀
1 avocado⠀
15oz can chickpeas⠀

Instructions⠀
Make the pizza crust as per the instructions in the recipe. Preheat oven to 200 degrees C (390 degrees F).⠀
To make the sauce, mix 1 tbsp oil and all other sauce ingredients in a bowl with a whisk. Spread the sauce (but save 3-4 tbsp) on the pizza crust and put the pizza in the oven for 10 minutes.⠀
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a skillet, add the remaining 3-4 tbsp of sauce and the chickpeas and fry for 3-5 minutes over medium heat.⠀
Spread the chickpea mixture and the vegan cheese sauce onto the pizza and put it back into the oven for another 10-15 minutes (or until crispy).⠀
Peel the avocado, remove the stem, and cut it into pieces and put it on the pizza right before serving. Season again with sea salt/pepper/spices if desired. Enjoy your delicious avocado chickpea pizza! Enjoy!

4 tbsp coconut milk canned (or any other plant-based milk)⠀
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)⠀
1 tbsp hot sauce (or more/less to taste)⠀
1 tsp coconut sugar (or regular sugar)⠀
spice mix (1 tsp each of smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder)⠀
sea salt and pepper to taste⠀
Other ingredients⠀
1 batch of vegan cheese sauce⠀
1 avocado⠀
15oz can chickpeas⠀
⠀
Instructions⠀
Make the pizza crust as per the instructions in the recipe. Preheat oven to 200 degrees C (390 degrees F).⠀
To make the sauce, mix 1 tbsp oil and all other sauce ingredients in a bowl with a whisk. Spread the sauce (but save 3-4 tbsp) on the pizza crust and put the pizza in the oven for 10 minutes.⠀
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a skillet, add the remaining 3-4 tbsp of sauce and the chickpeas and fry for 3-5 minutes over medium heat.⠀
Spread the chickpea mixture and the vegan cheese sauce onto the pizza and put it back into the oven for another 10-15 minutes (or until crispy).⠀
Peel the avocado, remove the stem, and cut it into pieces and put it on the pizza right before serving. Season again with sea salt/pepper/spices if desired. Enjoy your delicious avocado chickpea pizza! Enjoy!

I made my roast cauliflower, smokey baba ganoush and harissa chickpeas again! Layers of delicious flavour and texture - all my favs. Thankfully some extra for tomorrow a well...popped the link in my bio - it’s a very delicious one.

While it cooks, mix in a bowl 1/4 cup hot sauce + 2 tbsp coconut aminos + 1 tsp garlic + 2 tbsp honey. Spray a baking pan with nonstick spray, heat the oven to 400F. Add the chicken breasts to the baking pan and then coat the chicken with the mixture and bake for 20 mins. Paired with 1/2 avocado + chickpea pasta with a little bit of olive oil and everyday seasoning on top

Meal 2 👉🏻BBQ chicken: heat a skillet over medium heat and once it’s hot, add a little olive oil. Add 2 chicken breasts and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side. Then transfer to a bowl and take two forks and shred the chicken. Once it’s shredded, add 1/2 cup low sugar BBQ sauce and mix together. Add to 2 romaine lettuce cups and then I added onion and tomato. Paired with bean nacho chips + 1/2 avocado

Meal 3👉🏻 2 eggs boiled for 7 mins + 1/2 avocado + 1 sweet potato cut into rounds and broiled for 10-12 mins on the bottom shelf

Meal 4 👉🏻 1 piece of salmon cooked for 3 mins on each side in olive oil over medium heat with chipotle seasoning and pink Himalayan salt sprinkled on top + zoodles sautéed in olive oil for 3-4 minutes + vegan pesto + sweet potato chips broiled for 10-12 minutes
