This was me 6 days before the wedding finally able to pick up my dress. 👰🏻 It wasn’t easy with 4 fittings but I love the details of this dress. I didn’t know what style of dress I wanted or had a clue about how I needed 3-4 months to order a dress!! With less than 3-4 months until the wedding, I decided my best option was to buy off the rack and alter it. @vierobridalchicago did an amazing job and I’m so glad I was stalking one single designer to come across this shop. In the end, I didn’t even buy the dress made by that designer!! 🤣🤦🏻♀️😜 .

You don’t always have to “match” your backdrop. 👀As a designer it is my job to help you find the colors that actually compliment, coordinate, and contrast all at the same time. 🙌🏽The end result is a perfect harmony of color where the backdrop ties into your special outfits but still give you the opportunity to still stand out and not blend in. 🤩Do you guys see what what we did here?

Throughout your wedding day, my goal is to be as unobtrusive as possible. I want to find the beauty that is already happening organically instead of trying to force something. Aside from telling you the general spot to stand and direction to face for the best light and flattering angles, I do not script or stage much else. I did not tell Jade to look over her shoulder during this shot or how to position her hands. Those things were already happening and I simply stepped in to catch it. To me that is the recipe for authentic images ❤️
