1) Boxing Warm Up: 10 jabs, 10 crosses, 10 jab crosses, 5 press ups x 5 Rounds

2a) Floor Push Press: 4 x 6-10 (this is a great exercise for training the explosive side of the concentric, controlling the eccentric, pushing the weight and helping progress that sticking point if you have become stuck with you bench press)

2b) Press Ups: aim for 10, if not as many as you can!

3a) Close Grip Bench Press: 4 x 6 1.5 reps (hands want to be directly over shoulders to start with thumbs under the bar, keep elbows close to body and bring the bar down to the top of your abdominals for a 3 second count, push the bar up half way, lower it back down to your lower chest and then quickly drive it back to start position)

3b) Incline Press Ups: at this point your chest and tris will be starting to fatigue so aim for what you can.

4a) Dips: 3 x 12 (I managed 12 but you want to be pushing the reps to a point of fatigue, not failure - as you still have more press ups to come, but to a point where you begin to struggle) if you need to add weight or use a resistance band then cater for your level!

4b) Neutral Grip Press Ups: again, aim for what you can, if you don't have dipping bars like this you can either use press up bars or even dumbbells

5a) Lying Cable Fly: 3 x 6 ( 3 seconds on the eccentric and 1 second on the concentric)

5b) Decline Press Ups: by this point you really should be done - as you can see I only hit 2 and then rolled smoothly out of it 😂🙈

As a finisher you can do the warm up again and go to failure on each set of press ups! Do the press ups on your knees at any point in the workout if you are unable to complete full bodyweight reps!

Most of us don’t start out a huge upper chest. Most it definitely doesn’t come easy. It’s the most difficult part to develop. I’ve never heard anyone say I have way to much upper chest muscles. This video shows a few of the movements that can help us. - incline dumbbell press - incline barbell press - incline hammer strength press - incline cable press 
Can’t isolate at 100 percent but with correct form and function you can get most of the pressure on that area! Let’s get it Fam!

Don't leave your elbow down... Hold it up perpendicularly to your trunk..keep your shoulder blades intact so your scapula gets retracted.Also your RHOMBOIDS will be targeted because retraction & protraction of scapula is also happening. Also create the mind muscle connection to feel your posterior delts while doing this variation. Dumbbell chest flies 💪🏾 This was the first set and then increased the weights for every set afterwards. Felt horrible towards the end.

September 2016, Lily was 2, nursing me back to health after 2 knee surgeries and making me watch all the Daniel Tiger I could handle. 👏🏽
Fast forward to August 2019. I’m prepping for my 4th show, healthier and stronger than I was at any point before the operations. 👏🏽
Never forget that you are stronger than you think, body AND mind. 👏🏽
So get up, dust yourself off and push forward every day trying to get 1% better at whatever it is you need to. But do it for you and no one else.

No worries - this workout has been taken from our LEAN training template, the program that focuses on maintaining muscle mass & burning calories. There’s no such thing as a fat loss workout, but by shortening rest times & increasing the time spent under tension, it’s possible to elevate the intensity of any workout & ultimately burn more calories as a consequence.
