Back day

The benefits of having a daily physical routine, is the treatment on a regular basis, it is ideal, but do not worry if you do not find a time slot. Any amount of activity is better than none. To reap the benefits of exercise, you just have to be more active throughout the day: climb the stairs instead of using the elevator or accelerating the pace of your household chores. Consistency is the key.

In my process, I have the opportunity to attend the gym every day. Perform my routine, guided. Today, I do back. My routine is to train 1 muscle per day. In pyramidal series, from highest to lowest load.

This is a recipe my dad used to make when I lived back home and it’s still my favorite. 
Squash, zucchini, onions, potatoes and sausage. Super easy and super yummy. -

Since a healthy life style is 80% diet, LET’S TALK ABOUT DIET🗣:🥗
Personally I don’t like to meal prep. Maybe it’s because of the commitment to make a decision for what to eat that week.
Maybe it’s the effort of having to portion it all out. 
Maybe it’s that I don’t believe the lack of freshness towards the end of the week is worth it. I don’t know. 
This may effect my goals down the road but it’s my personal decision to cook something different at every meal, every day of the week.
I believe whatever preference someone makes, as long as it’s a healthy one, shouldn’t be influenced by the “norm”. Everyone’s body is different and therefore the way we nourish it will be different too. 💕

The main idea of the progressive chart is to overload, the first few sets should be relatively easy but by the time you are doing the sets of 5, 3, or 1  you should be failing. Very helpful post by @trainwithcarsen here!  I get asked about pull-ups quite a bit and how to progress in the movement.  It's a difficult at first to do many reps but it's one of those exercises the more and more you practice and attempt the better and better you get at them.

Most of the time they are done incorrectly to where the individual uses a lot of shoulders or their arms in the movement in order to accomplish the reps.  So be careful about how you get started with them.  Retract and depress that scapula and pull yourself up with the lats.  Please read what Carsen has to say about them down below!

All work and no play make me a weak boy, not hit the gym consistently for about a week and a half due to decorating my house, I could feel the difference in strength and stamina almost immediately and it killed me, after hitting chest and biceps 2 days ago I decided to work on back, shoulders and triceps today, this just proves to me the consistency is key to success and after having a bad morning also a good way to put myself in a good mindset, I even threw in a selfie for good measure which is something I never do but I was feeling myself so why not!
God knows what that little spasm is in the first video, think it’s my body in shock from being back

EXERCISE BENEFITS #9: BETTER POSTURE- Standing up straight and walking with good posture is both a mental and physical challenge. People who are stressed, depressed, or lost in thought often relax their abs and shoulders and let their head fall forward as they look at the ground. This leads to the Neck Syndrome shown on the slide. The Neck and Shoulder Muscles are stretched as the head points down and the shoulders are rounded. In this position,the shoulder blades or Scapulae are pulled apart. This can stretch the nerve bundles as they pass through the. Neck and Shoulders causing aches and pains. The key to correcting this Crossed Neck Syndrome is to be mindful of your head, neck and body position whenever you get up or get ready to walk. Tighten your Abs and Glutes when you walk, and then position your head, neck, and shoulders. To build up the habit of having your shoulders back and your head level try walking while balancing a book on your head and pulling your shoulders back. Exercises that strengthen the upper back include pulling up a weight while supporting your body with one knee and one arm as shown. Do three sets of 10 to 15 reps with a  comfortable weight and build up from there. Another great exercise is the seated cable pull shown on the bottom of the slide. When you do these exercises bring the shoulder blades to the midline where they can almost touch. Remember to have a Protein-Rich Shake with at least 20 grams of protein within 30 minutes to 1 hour after your exercise session. Standing up straight will make you look taller as an added benefit giving you more confidence in everything you do!!
