کبد عضوی مهم در بدن است که اعمالی نظیر سم زدایی در خون، ذخیره ویتامین ها ، سوخت و ساز مواد غذایی و تجزیه دارو ها را بر عهده دارد.

آنزیمهای متعددی در کبد وجود دارد که میزان آن در خون بسیار مهم است یکی از آنزیم ها آلانین آمینوترانسفراز (ALT) یا SGPT نام دارد که تقریبا خاص کبد است ولی وقتی کبد دچار آسیب شود این آنزیم را به جریان خون وارد می کند و میزان آن در خون بالا می رود.

ALT آنزیمی است که بیشتر در سلول های کبد و کلیه یافت می شود؛ مقادیر بسیار کوچکتر آن نیز در قلب و عضلات یافت می شود. در افراد سالم، سطح ALT در خون پایین است. زمانی که کبد آسیب دیده است، معمولا قبل از آن که علائم بارزتر آسیب کبدی مانند زردی رخ دهد، ALT داخل جریان خون آزاد می شود. این امر ALT را یک آزمایش مفید برای تشخیص آسیب کبدی می سازد.

آزمایش ALT اغلب همراه با آسپارتات آمینوترانسفراز (AST) یا به عنوان بخشی از پانل کبد برای غربالگری و یا کمک به تشخیص اختلالات کبدی درخواست می شود. آزمایش ALT و AST دو تا از مهمترین تست ها برای تشخیص آسیب کبدی در نظر گرفته می شود، اگر چه ALT از AST اختصاصی تر است. ● علت درخواست تست
اين تست برای تشخیص آسیب کبدی و یا کمک به تشخیص بیماری کبدی است.

Intent 2 Improve - Personal Training in Buckingham

On the menu today at @intent2improve for staff CPD, head coach @bryn_jenkins took Ali and I through the Hip Hinge
-
The hinge is a key component in functional movement and is the crux of movements such as deadlifts (all variations), KB swings and more
-
We had a great exchange of ideas as we talked about various obstacles we’ve all faced as coaches trying to teach new clients the hinge, or how to get clients making an ok lift a GREAT lift. We then talked about various cues we may or may not try and use to nudge our members into the right position
-
“Give yourself a double chin” was one of my favourites
-
After that we looked a little deeper into the Deadlift (and got a cheeky lil bro sesh in). A notoriously difficult and technical lift to get right, i was treated to a masterclass in deadlifting from Bryn and Ali where we focused on tension when both setting up in the lift and the lift itself
-
These pictures will show you how getting the right amount of tension when setting up will get you into the ideal position to perform the Deadlift. And as you can see, each of us has slightly different anatomy in terms of back shape but doesn’t necessarily mean any were bad lifts
-
The key points in all of the photos are that in the 2nd photo for each of us, our lats are engaged (we’re pulling the bar right in to our bodies) and we’ve braced our abs meaning we can stay nice and compact throughout keeping a pretty good (and SAFE) back position
-
Really enjoyable session to learn from two very knowledgable coaches (@acl_lifts you are the Deadlift King) and can’t wait to transfer this over to our members

Sometimes for those of us who are not used to exercising, being prescribed to do exercise can be daunting.

There are many ways we can involve exercise in our lifestyle without it being thought of as exercise.

For instance,

- climbing stairs instead of using the escalator or lift.
- getting off the train one stop before your destination and walking the rest of the way.
- instead of dinner, or the cinema for example, meet with friends for walk in the park.

Get creative with how to incorporate exercise into your life style.

👉 Luckily we can tell our Endurance Athletes apart by the variation of lift that they’re working on due to the adaptations in their programming to better suit their needs.

Chronic stress is part of our era and has become such an issue in our society where we constantly try to increase/expand our responsibilities all the time.

There is a scientific relationship between stress, blood sugar and belly fat. •
Chronic stress creates an insulin increase, which in turn leads to a metabolic change and can lead to weight gain, insulin resistance and diabetes in the worst case.

What can we do?

Find what calms you naturally and do it every day.
For instance:
- Being grateful for what you have.
- practicing yoga, walk in nature.
- Do your favourite sport
- have treatment.
- self care practice
- take sleep seriously

Animal Flow is a bodyweight program that’s centered largely around ground-based work. It features animal-style movements that encourage core stability and strength, joint strength & body awareness.

The workout features a structured series of animal-style movements that are linked together to form a flow. These exercises are grouped into six different components: wrist mobilizations (simple exercises to increase the flexibility and strength of your wrists), activations (static holds performed to connect the body before starting practice), form specific stretches (full body stretches that start in an animal form and then move through a wide range of motion), travelling forms (exercises that mimic the movements of animals), switches (the dynamic movements that create the “flow”) and flow (everything is combined into a fluid sequence).

Truth is... Working out IS a stressor to the body.
You tear down those muscles in the gym, and we repair and rebuild outside of there.
I don’t care if you don’t want to build muscle and get big, you STILL need to take this into account.
Cause if you keep pushing without allowing yourself to repair, the body you have is going to eventually say ‘screw you’ and you’ll end up breaking down or just feeling like crap.
Are you chronically sore, achy, or tired?
Is your mental focus off?

Do you find it difficult to get results or have you plateaued?

• ALT#
آنزیمی است که بیشتر در سلول های کبد و کلیه یافت می شود. در افراد سالم، سطح آلانین آمینوترانسفراز در خون پایین است. زمانی که کبد آسیب دیده است، معمولاً قبل از آنکه علائم بارزتر آسیب کبدی مانند زردی رخ دهد، آلانین آمینوترانسفراز داخل جریان خون آزاد می شود. این امر آلانین آمینوترانسفراز را یک آزمایش مفید برای تشخیص آسیب کبدی می سازد.
کاربردهای بالینی:
این آزمایش برای تشخیص بیماری های سلول کبدی استفاده می شود. به علاوه این آزمون روش دقیقی برای پیگیری بهبودی یا وخامت این بیماری هاست. وجود آلانین آمینوترانسفراز غیر طبیعی در مبتلایان به یرقان بیشتر نشانه یرقان با منشأ کبدی می باشد تا آن که همولیز خارج کبدی گلبول های قرمز را به عنوان منبع یرقان معرفی نماید.
شرایط و ملاحظات نمونه گیری: • نیاز به ناشتا بودن نمی باشد. • فعالیت بدنی شدید موجب افزایش می گردد و باید قبل از نمونه گیری از فعالیت شدید اجتناب شود. • مصرف هرگونه داروی مؤثر بر نتایج آزمایش را بر روی برگه بیمار ثبت کنید. • همولیز شدید موجب رد نمونه می گردد.
شرایط نگهداری:
نمونه خون کامل به مدت 12 تا 24 ساعت پایدار است اما بعد از آن به علت آزاد شدن آنزیم از گلبول قرمز آلانین آمینوترانسفراز به تدریج افزایش پیدا می کند.
تداخلات:
داروهای استامینوفن، آلوپورینول، اسیدآمینوسالیسیلیک، آمپیسیلین، آزاتیو پرین، کاربامازپین، سفالوسپورین ها، ضد بارداری های خوراکی و... در چه شرایطی تست افزایش می یابد:
1- سیروز و تومور کبد
2- یرقان انسدادی و پانکراتیت
3- انفارکتوس میوکارد و منونوکلئوز عفونی و... مقادیر طبیعی بر حسب U/l: • مردان: 1سال و بالاتر: 9 تا 45 • زنان: 1سال و بالاتر: 9 تا 40 • اطفال زیر 1سال: 13 تا 40
تفسیر:
مقادیر افزایش یافته آلانین آمینوترانسفراز در بیماری های پارانشیم کبدی که با تخریب سلول های کبدی همراه است مشاهده می شود. در هپاتیت ویروسی و سایر شرایط التهابی تأثیر گذار بر کبد افزایش آلانین آمینوترانسفراز مشاهده می شود.
افزایش سطح ALT و AST و نسبت این دو (ALT/AST Ratio) در تشخیص بیماری های کبدی از سایر بیماری ها از جمله سکته قلبی، الکلیسم و انسداد مجاری صفراوی کاربرد دارد.
افزایش سطوح این آنزیم قبل از ظهور علائم بالینی رخ می دهد. بنابراین تشخیص زودرس افزایش آلانین آمینوترانسفراز اهمیت زیادی در پروسه درمان دارد.

When I embarked on my weight loss journey in 2009, I never thought about the future. I remembered at that point I still was sitting for my medical school admission tests and I really wanted to be a doctor.

So when I flunked my admission tests, not once not twice but 3 times (yup... 😂) I realised I probably am not meant to be a doctor.

Disappointed, I decided to lose weight. I guess I had to do something.

So I went on an extremely low calorie diet. Lost 20 kilos in 8 months. And thought that was the end. But it wasn’t. I struggled with binge eating. I was beating myself up each time I didn’t do a workout. And I was just... sad. Mentally and physically.

See all my life I had one huge dream. I always wanted to help others. It was the reason why I wanted to be a doctor in the first place and when I didn’t and I lost weight, I knew I had to help others be the best versions of themselves as a trainer and a coach.

But the real deal isn’t the fact that I lost 20 kilos in 8 months. It’s the fact that even 10 years later in 2019, I’m still maintaining these weight, probably even feeling better and healthier every single day.

A lot of people can lose a whole lot of weight in a short time. But I really pray you have the strength in you to help yourself first, don’t focus on short term, instant gratification and focus on long term results. Take it slow. Because when you do it slowly, you basically learn so much more on how to sustain a healthy lifestyle. Instead of just losing weight for a short period of time.
