I love the way working out makes you feel.
I absolutely L O V E the feeling of working out. I love the post work out feeling too. I might “complain” a bit if I feel lazy doing it then and there...but honestly, it’s one of the best feelings!
I love feeling my muscles being sore the day after because that means you’re lacking lactic acidosis which means your muscles are growing.
Which also means you’ve done it right! .

Good morning darlings!
Grab a resistance band and small towel and you are ready to smash those inner thighs. This is an area I struggle with and am wanting to target at the moment, let’s do this 💪🏻 15-20 reps of each exercise each side. Repeat for 3 rounds.
1. Sumo squat: make sure your feet are wide apart and turning outwards
2. Standing clamshell: use your resistance band for this
3. Sliding backwards lunge: use a mall towel to slide your foot on
4. Clamshell lying down
5. Inner leg raise and circles: 15 raises and 15 circles each side
6. Fire hydrant
You can do these without a resistance band if you like, it will just help with toning of the muscles.
Get up and get this Monday started off right!

It’s been a hard week and pain levels have been very high. I woke up in a terrible mood just because I’m sick of always being in pain and there’s some days where it’s just hard to not let it get to you. I went to go train clients and I had a client who was also feeling down. At this point I realized I had 2 options- I could either continue feeling sorry for myself or I could forget about my problems and take the time to help and listen to someone else.
She had asked me what my best advice for staying motivated was and I told her you just keep going. You do it anyways. Because that’s the difference between people who succeed and people who don’t. Most people get frustrated and think what they’re doing is pointless so they give up. But little do they know, if they would have just kept going just a little bit longer they probably would have reached their goal and more.
You just keep going.
And I thought it was funny because although we were talking about two different things, that advice I gave to her was actually exactly what I needed to hear today. You keep going even when you don’t want to. You keep going even when you don’t see a reason to. You keep going when the world gives you every reason not to.
You just keep going.
There’s no other way 💪🏼

Tag the BEST shooter you know AND the WORST shooter you know 👀. .

We’ve talked about the mechanisms behind this several times in the past. I still see coaches trying to correct this on shooters. Let athletes be athletes. Some of the best shooters (who also have no record of ACL tears or knee problems) use hip internal rotation/adduction when shooting. I’ve seen hundreds of shooters at all levels using internal rotation/adduction when shooting... not once have I seen an ACL or any knee problem stem from this technique. When I remove the ball and have them jump and land, they don’t use as much internal rot/adduction... showing that it’s not a weakness or structural issue. It’s just a creative solution for internal tension in the shot (particularly beneficial for players with medium to wide foot positioning). You can’t teach this, but you definitely shouldn’t correct it either! If you do correct this you’ll change the fascial tension throughout the body, which will inevitably cause other mechanical changes. When it comes to correcting shooting form, you’re rarely correcting 1 thing... everything is connected. Change 1 thing and the joints above and below will be affected.
