Even though negative comments will just fuel my determination, Positive advice. When I post meals, tell me what I should try and what I should and should not eat. When i post workouts, correct my technique, tell me what I’m doing wrong and tell me how to fix it.

July 2018, finally able to get back to work after surgery. I was cleared but had restrictions still. Such as no bending, twisting, lifting, pulling or pushing. So, what could I do with that. Was great my old shop allowed me to work with them again but in a different department. One that didn’t go against my restrictions, a shuttle driver. Hey, works work ya know. Whatever pays the bills. And we had bills alright. But after 3 months I was let go from my position due to missing many hours because of physical therapy and doctors visits. 
I did my PT during my lunch and my doctors office was about 45 minutes away and lasted roughly 1-2 hours. 
And that left me more depressed on how was I going to provide for my family. *side note, I don’t smile as much but I did here.lol* #12weektransformation @1upnutrition

Give this hamstring exercise a go, the Swiss ball assisted Nordic curl allows you to load the hamstrings with the hips in an extended position which enables you to fully contract the hamstrings from both the hips and knee, alternatives would be using a lying/standing leg curl machine or Swiss ball leg curls, give this a go, prepare for sore hamstrings @spange53 💪🏼

As uncomfortable as I feel about posting this, a part of me feels proud of how far I’ve come. 12 weeks ago I struggled with so much. When I saw @glouiseatkinson post about taking part in a trial for @iamtv.fit I thought I’d go for it. Nothing lost, right?! I was one of the lucky people to be selected. I started the journey, overhauled my diet and apart from one week of due to a medical thing, I threw myself into doing the #stronger program. 12 weeks of Gemma and Evil Steve. Well... I had a wobble yesterday. I took these after photos this morning, the day of my birthday and the completion of my 12 week trial. I’ve lost just shy of 3 stones. 6” from my chest, 6” from my waist and 5.5” from my hips. I’ve lost 3.5” from each of my thighs. I’ve not checked upper arm - but I’ve lost there too. Seeing this has reinforced my belief that I’ve achieved so much and will carry on! Jaime started his training 6 weeks ago in preparation for his wedding coming up this Saturday, the main goal was to fit into his wedding clothes that were currently too tight, we had to deal with hectic work schedules, working late, illness and all the rest that comes with life, but in the last 6 weeks we have managed to drop 6 and half pounds, added size to his arms and dropped CM’s off the rest of his body, now the wedding clothes fit 💪🏼 well done Jamie have an amazing wedding day 🎉

One week in and I’m 1.2kgs down...YAAY ME 🙌🏼

I don’t have any expectations with regards to weight loss but I’ll admit I was sceptical that I’d lose anything considering how much food I’m eating! Good old diet culture had it drilled into my head for years that weight loss is no carbs, no calories, no enjoyment but yet here I am, eating 2000 calories a day and weighing less than I did last week 🤷🏻‍♀️

Off to do cardio now with a big smile on my face 🖤

We love helping you achieve your goals here at Revolution & often that goal is weight related. But we understand that weight loss isn’t linear and sometimes the scale can lie! .

Siobhan has been working with @tankerbellept and her initial goal was weight loss. She’s training just once a week with us and has made keen improvements to increase her activity outside the gym as much as possible. .

Over the last 12 weeks Siobhan has lost over 3 total inches on her body. She’s also gained 3kg of muscle mass 💪🏻 lost 2.5kg of body fat 🔥 and on her check in day was holding 2.5kg more water then on her prior weigh in (common issue among females!) BUT the scale was up! .

Siobhan & @tankerbellept have changed her body composition. By replacing body fat with muscle mass Siobhan has lost body inches. The results are there but had we just weighed Siobhan she wouldn’t have realised just how well she’s done! Focus on the total picture, not just scaled weight which at times can be very misleading! Luke @lae.fitness is teaching his client Toby the art of the sumo squats. Toby is performing 12 by 4 hitting a PB at 87.5kg 👉yep and managing 12 reps. He has been working hard on his technique and is now able to perform these without getting lower back pain. Good form is the key to avoid injury. Amazing work Toby... keep it up! #smashingtraining

This weekend brings my current 12 Week Transformation to a close with awesome results and healthier lifestyles achieved from this group! My next group kicks off on August 5th and will be the last for 2019. The good news is I still have 1 space left on the Monday 530pm group, 5 on Wednesday 630pm and 7 on Thursday 630pm for all of you that are keen to get on board. I just wanted to post a list of some of the most common questions I get asked for any of you that are curious!

12 Week Transformation Frequently Asked Questions:

What sort of Nutrition plan will I be following? 
The programme is based on a varied nutrient dense, whole and unprocessed low carbohydrate or modified ketogenic diet. We give Intermittant Fasting a go once you are fat adapted too!

What are the exercise expectations? 
You will have one session a week with myself, x 2 at home (approx 20mins) body weight workouts and 3 sessions where you are free to exercise to your own preference. It is much easier to stick to a routine if you are doing what you prefer! 
What is the average amount of weight lost? 
On average my clients lose 500-600gms per week. This varies depending on how your body responds and how much weight you have to lose. I will work with you individually should your weight loss stall. 
Can I attend if pregnant or breastfeeding? 
If you are pregnant I have Personal Training or Nutrition Coaching options that would be a better option for you. Breastfeeding mums you are more than welcome! The programme is perfectly safe for you! 
What is the cost? $719 upfront or $119 joining fee then $59 per week.

There are 2 contributing factors to how your arms look. Bodyfat level and muscle tone. We can control our body fat levels by eating in a calorie deficit, however muscle tone comes from resistance training.
Here are 2 exercises that can be done at home or in the gym. I have demonstrated using a resistance band (these can be purchased from AMAZON), but you can use a conventional cable weight stack in a gym.
Hit 3 to 4 sets of each for 8-10 reps and do these 2 to 3 times a week. This along with a sensible eating plan will help tone your arms in time for t-shirt season.

YOU CAN achieve amazing things! 
As an athlete training for the Olympics I had a team of people looking after me. Technical coach, S&C coach, physio, sports psyc, nutritionist, management etc and when I retired and became a Pt full time I realised I couldn’t do it all. At ROAR we wanted to give the client a little bit of that athlete treatment with all the expertise needed to help them achieve their goal. All you have to do is make that decision, turn up and do as your told 😘

Claire is gorgeous in the “before” pic but sometimes it doesn’t matter what anyone else tells you, how you feel about yourself is what counts. It’s totally fine to want to make improvements and feel more confident in your skin 💪🏻 Claire walked out of ROAR stronger, leaner and more confident and this is why I LOVE my job 😊

For the past six weeks, this has been my Bible. When I’ve been on the road and I haven’’t had the team at @upfitnessau to keep me in line, I’ve packed this 197-page wonder in my luggage.
It’s basically an idiot’s guide to getting back in shape and breaks down the philosophy which underpins  UP. 
I hit the halfway point of the 12-week transformation program today. I’ve dropped almost 12 kilos and lost around 15 percent body fat so far. If I ended this program now, I’d be happy but @56adamwright promises me the best is yet to come. Apparently, I’ll be a “machine” (his words, not mine).
I’m seeing abs I haven’t seen since the 1990s. I’m going to have to ease them gently into the modern world.

Can’t argue with that! Looking and most importantly feeling fabulous. 
This is all that really matters to me as a trainer-how you feel about yourself. I’ve worked with hundreds of women and of course the psychology is complicated. People can criticise the “transformation” photos all they want but people come into my office feeling terrible about themselves and tell me how they’re life, decisions, relationships are effected every day simply because they don’t feel happy about their body. When they finish their 12 week plan and leave feeling strong, confident and in control of their body, (grinning from ear to ear when I take the after picture) I feel so lucky to have such a rewarding job 💕
