- make a plan (as best as i can)
- keep what i can consistent (food, water, supplements, sleep)
- journal nightly to help recap and relax
- don’t skip a workout: it’s my time to de stress
- try to get into a new routine as quickly as possible

➡ mit 150ml Wasser ablöschen,
➡ 50g Frischkäse und 100g Ajvar einrühren und köcheln lassen,
➡ 80—100g Feta klein bröseln bzw mit der Gabel zerdrücken und dazugeben,
➡ mit Malaka von @spice_bar und ggf Salz würzen köcheln lassen damit sich alles gut vermischt und der Feta schmilzt,
➡ 200g TK Blattspinat auftauen, Wasser ausdrücken, dazugeben und kurz erhitzen, ➡ Nudeln untermischen und paar Tomaten dazugeben.

Moved into a cute & cozy little place this week ☕️ Embracing the simplicity of a small space with only the things we need and are really enjoying each others company. Focusing on the big goals and big vision and taking it day by day to get there. I am feeling excited and inspired to continue working on my blog. A maioria dos praticantes de atividades físicas já se questionaram sobre isso ❓❓❓
Primeiramente,  o que é o whey?
Trata-se de uma proteína extraída do soro do leite, seu consumo por meio de suplementos é uma das melhores maneiras de repor proteínas no organismo de um atleta ou praticantevde atividade fisica, bem como auxiliar na adequação de proteína durante o dia (quando há necessidade de suplementar). Mais na frente farei um post sobre as diferenças entre os 3 tipos existentes no mercado.
🔽Mas é aí, posso misturar com leite ou água? A resposta é SIM. Somando  quantidade de proteínas do leite e suplemento você tem aí uma melhor relação custo-benefício,  tendo em vista que você irá usar menos suplemento e terá uma quantidade protéica maior na refeição.

Mesmo em casos de restrição calórica, o nutricionista pode encaixar o whey na refeição, porém é algo que deve ser acordado diretamente com o paciente.  No one judges you on the treadmill.. 💥Lifting weights is sometimes scary, no your not always going to the best the first few times, but showing up getting out of your comfort zone is the Bravest thing you can do!

We are all learning, we all start here. 
You do not have to have the perfect booty the newest clothes or phone. (Or be like G and wear fuzzy socks💥) Just show up for yourself and goals💪

First figure competition is a wrap! It was quite the experience with a lot of highs and lows (tears as well). From a personal standpoint, I'm thrilled with my progress. From a competitor's, plenty of work to be done. Conditioning, first and foremost. The judges liked most of my package, particularly my posing/poise (annoyed that the wiring and tape did not allow me to keep my heels together 🙄) and lower body but they were less than moved by my abs and V taper 😂🥴 Nevertheless, my body did all it could do this go round after months of dieting and training; I'm content for now. I knew how I was going to place and it was all justified and fair. Appreciate my friends, family, and faith for getting me through this. There were a lot of hands on deck to get me stage ready.😂 Most importantly, I'd like to thank me for choosing to invest in myself. I don't give myself enough credit! Now, we rest and eat.

I am my own motivation. I posted this on my personal IG over two years ago after losing 70 lbs. This time around, I am at it again. No matter how many times I had fell off the wagon, I hadn't quit, I still keep going, I still keep striving, I still get my ass up to run even if I ate my heart out the day before, I ain't gonna quit. Someone said to me a few weeks ago, "if I worked out the way you do, 4 times a week, I would have lost a bunch or weight by now", my response was, "not if you still eat the way you do". I wasn't jabbing back at him but I was making a point... no one can out exercise a bad diet, that ole saying that "abs are made in the kitchen" is very real. Some people might think otherwise, but I am living proof that it doesn't work that way if one is trying to Lose Weight. Yes, I am still working on my diet... trying to figure out what will work and what will not. I can tell you a whole story on why I can't keep to a healthy diet but then it'll all just sound like straight up Excuses... lol, so I'm not saying anything. My mind is still in the works at figuring shit out, but none the less, I'mma keep at it, taking it one day at a time; completed 45 mins of cardio this morning, and feeling fresh. 😁.

Cuando las personas preguntan, “cuanto puedo tengo que comer para bajar de peso o para aumentar mi masa muscular?” para darles un ejemplo muy simple, hay que tener en cuenta muchas variables, cada uno es distinto, todo DEPENDE,  es por eso que los profesionales de la salud tenemos muy presente la INDIVIDUALIDAD de cada persona para prescribir un plan de alimentación.

Que se tiene en cuenta para saber cuánto gasta cada persona? Estas son las variables generales que se tiene en cuenta en una persona sana, cabe destacar que aparte de estas hay muchísimas otras variables para prescribir un plan.

De qué hablamos cuando hablamos de Metabolismo? Este es un término general que se usa para todos los procesos bioquímicos que convierten las calorías que consume a través de los alimentos y bebidas en energía utilizable para que el cuerpo pueda funcionar y mantenerlo con vida.

Y de que se compone este metabolismo?

Los componentes que determinan del consumo de energía son básicamente tres: el Gasto Energético en Reposo (GER); Termogenia por Actividad Física (TA) y; el Efecto Termogénico de los Alimentos (ETA)

La TMB (tasa metabólica basal) refleja la cantidad de energía consumida durante 24hs mientras uno se encuentra en reposo físico y mental en un entorno térmicamente neutro, es por eso que hoy en día se usa el GER (Gasto energético en reposo) que es la energía utilizada en reposo donde se incluyen sistema nervioso central, mantenimiento de la temperatura, síntesis de proteínas, etc. El GER suele ser 10 a 20% mayor que la TMB pero se pueden utilizar indistintamente.

Otras variables como Edad, altura, género, estado hormonal, clima en donde uno vive, el GER puede aumentar o disminuir en condiciones de stress o enfermedad, ayuno, restricciones calóricas como dietas restrictivas, etc.

Como ven parece algo fácil, pero conlleva cosas mas complejas, por eso siempre insisto en que busquen ayuda profesional, que no se sometan a planes de alimentación de otra persona, de internet o prescriptas por una persona que no esta preparada para tal.

So Day 18👀, was a killer with EMOM’s being involved 💪 however this program got me feeling great all over and it didn’t burn me out! As a matter of fact I feel fantastic, I have more energy especially because I am getting the correct nutrients in by following the 30 Day Wellness Challenge’s meal plan which has been created by @eatyourselfhappi , she creates each meal carefully and thoughtfully💭 and it fits perfect with this training plan I have created.

This Challenge feels great and I am going to keep creating these challenges, as I want everyone to experience what myself and the rest of the participants are feeling when following it to the “T”.☝️
