I’m a shift worker. I train every day. Some people say it’s not the ‘right way’ but it works for me 🤷🏼♂️
Listen to your body. If it’s your mind telling you that you can’t, tell it you can and get out and achieve your goals. If you’re body is tired, there’s a few things we can do to combat that:
1️⃣ Actually take some rest. Plan the rest like you would a workout so you stay strict and stick to the plan. Sometimes your body needs a rest. Take some time out!
2️⃣ Make sure you are eating a balanced diet. It’s all good and well being in a calorie deficit but eating shit food every day, all day isn’t going to help with recovery.
3️⃣ Sleep, sleep and more sleep. I am guilty of falling foul of this but it’s more important than you think. This is when your body recovers the most and you can fully regenerate to be ready to attack the next day. Make sure you’re getting enough!
